Kindly show me photograph of the affected part. Control diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.

She may be suffering due to calcification of her vertebra where vertebral column becomes stiff. Old age is one of the causes for this. It is advisable not to use excessive pain killers as they may damage the kidneys. Take her to an orthopedic surgeon and thoroughly investigated.

Hello you can follow these advice- 1. Take plenty of luke warm water (8-10 glasses per day). 2. Add some baking soda in the water, it will decrease your uric acid level so that you will get relief in backache spontaneously. 3. Brisk walk in the morning is must. 4. Perform some back strengthening exercises, which i'll explain you in the next session. Till then you have to modify you life style. Wish you a happy life.

You can go for a good physiotherapist they will give you treatment for pain relief teach you strengthening and streching exercises. If you have severe pain continuously more than 15 days that means you need expert advice go and meet with orthopaedic doctor.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Hello- here are some tips to protect your cervical spondylitis- about 90 per cent of the population will suffer from back or neck pain when they reach adulthood, says a/prof tan. When it comes to the back, prevention is best. 1. Take short frequent breaks away from the computer. 2. Sit up straight on and off every 10-15 minutes, periodically stand up, 3. Walk around and stretch every hour. 4. Do regular stretching and strengthening exercises. 5. Keep the top of the computer screen at eye-level. This way you will be looking down at the screen at a 15- to 20-degree angle which is less strenuous on the neck. Adopt a good sitting posture sit upright and make sure both the feet are on the floor, and the elbows, knees, hips and ankles are at a 90-degree angle. Place a cushion against the back of the chair to support the lower back. When typing for prolonged periods, sit close to the table and rest the elbows on the table to relieve stress from the shoulders and neck.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young and should ideally not be having these symptoms regularly. This could either be some local cause or a manifestation of a systemic issue. My advice initially will be to get some blood tests done so that we can rule out basic causes of pain, swelling etc. Cbc, esr, crp, serum electrolytes, serum vitamin d levels, thyroid profile do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

1.Check your Hemoglobin, Bp. 2. Avoid stress, anxiety,severe physical and mental exertion 3. Take adequate rest and sleep for 7-8 hours daily to remain healthy 4. If you are suffering from diabetes last 3 or 5 year. This can lead neurological problem so first check your nerve test (biothesometry test).
