Hi You are slightly underweight by about 6-7 Kgs. More important than weight is your health and fitness and strength. Don't compare yourself with others and be confident. Try to eat naturally rich foods like nuts, protiens, milk products regularly. Avoid colas and drink lassi and juices instead. Build fitness in your body and be confident.

I need to know the elaborate history from you so that I can understand cause of pain, duration of joint pains and any associated symptoms like stiffness etc. There is a workup for polyarthralgia (multiple joint pains) which needs to be done if history and clinical examination point to it. At this age I would like you to get some tests like cbc, esr and crp levels done. Also get your vitamin d levels and thyroid profile done. Dear, it is mainly due to infection (mainly fungal) in your scalp, as skin of scalp is very little blood supply, so take time to remove infections, it comes in from of dandruff. For control on hair fall you have to control on dandruff and infection.

Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! medication: take homoeopathic medicines - schwabe's wiesbaden 200 & alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use schwabe's arnica shampoo and hair growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use bakson's arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

Douring pregnancy lower limbs do develop some swelling because uterus grows big and put pressure on blood vessels of lower limbs. This is called dependent edema. It disappears invariably post delivery. If one develops hypothyroidism even then swelling of face and lower limbs does occur. Since you are having hypothyroidism, there is a possibility of this complaint. Particularly if tsh levels are not well controlled.

Irregular periods can be caused due to menstrual cycle disorders. They are very common and can be easily treated with medications. Your hair needs a high protein well-rounded diet. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hair and nails are both protein fibers. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. Hye, Thanks for the query. You can improve your running stamina by following an effective training program and right nutrition. Step 1 Run more miles each week. You can increase your total running volume by increasing either the distance of each run or adding more runs. This allows your body to develop the systems needed to get more blood and oxygen to the muscles that are working.  Step 2 Incorporate a resistance workout two to three times per week, focusing on all of the major muscles groups of the body. Resistance can come from free weights, machines, body weight or bands, depending on what is available. At a minimum, the strength program should include squats, push-ups and planks because the combination of these three exercises will strengthen all of the major muscles of the body. Increasing muscle strength and endurance trains the muscles to work longer before reaching fatigue and that translates to being able to run longer. Step 3 Consume a nutritious diet, high in carbohydrates, moderate in protein and low in fat to ensure you have enough energy to complete your run. The diet of a runner should be made up of 60 to 70 percent carbohydrates, 12 to 15 percent from protein and no more than 30 percent from fat sources. Runners must also focus on staying well hydrated, drinking water regularly throughout the day and before, during and after workouts.

Dear Lybrate user. Sex is always enjoyed if it is done with love, passion and affection. The love making time is important. It should be within 30 minutes. The more you try to extent it, the more you and your partner will be stressed and therefore the pleasure associated with orgasm will be simultaneously reduced. Therefore, limit the sexual performance to less than 30 minutes. Sex is energy consuming and your body needs proper rest and nutrition replenishment after every sex. Also keep in mind that you should provide 24 hours gap between two sexual intercourses. Sexual intercourse is not advised in the cases of stress, anxiety, physical fatigue, cough, cold etc. Take care.

Breast size can be increased only by surgery, either by putting silicon implants or by putting your own body fat. . There is another option of using suction cups called brava. All creams and medicine available on net have no proven benefit.
