Dear Lybrate user Rotate your head in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, and nod the neck side to side from one shoulder to the other. Do this for 10 minutes 2 or 3 times daily. This will help the pain in your neck from getting severe. You can even rotate your arms in clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, and fold and unfold your fists at regular intervals to control pain. 2. Hot and Cold Compresses Another easy way to deal with neck pain due to cervical spondylosis is alternating hot and cold compresses on the affected area. Hot compresses will improve blood circulation and relax sore muscle.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. The pain is since 2 days so you can take a gentle anti inflammatory medication and physical therapy to start with. The cause of pain could be many, it can be muscular, nerve related etc but if you do not get relief with conservative regimen in 5-7 days time, then let me know because we might have to get your friend investigated. It is usually due to a degenerative tear in ecrb tendon. It is quite painful, you will benefit from - ice packs at home intensively 3-4 times in a day - physical therapy: ultrasonics for local application or laser therapy can be used - short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you will be useful - tennis elbow brace from a good company helps certain people normally you should be ok in 2-3 weeks time, in the event pain continues, please contact me. Do contrast bath therapy Take hot water in 1 bowl & cold water in another then immerse your hands in hot water for 3min then move to cold water for 1min, keep repeating for 20min, twice daily. Do hand stretches Squeeze smiley ball hold for 3sec then relax, 20repetitions, twice daily

I am suffering with back pain, its so paining, give me solution of this problem.
Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Avoid alcohol consumption (if you consume). Do pranayama early morning.

Foot and finger exercises. Do the following exercises barefoot: •1. First write digits 1 to 10 using your toes raised up in the air. •2. Sit on a chair, raise your toes and curl them •3. Pick up a small piece of cloth off the floor using your toes. •4. Still in a sitting position, point your toes and circle your ankles in a slow counter and clockwise motion. •5. Stand up from the sitting position and go on tip toe for 5 seconds.

I am 7 months post partum via c section. Am having severe leg pain especially in the calf ankles and toes. Pain is getting worser while standing for long time. 1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises. 3. Use lumber spine belt. 4. Don't sit on floor. 5. Don't lift heavy things. 6. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 7. Do Hot fermentation twice a day 8. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

You need to do stretching of your leg muscles before start playing. Also start doing some back exercises to strenghten your muscles. Your muscles might not be able to take up the load during your playing activity. Do adequate warm up and stretching before you start playing.
