Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine alfalfa tonic (sbl) (1tbs) twice a day for 15 days and revert. *avoid fried and spicy food *avoid stress and anger. *take a sound sleep. *take milk twice a day *include fruits, vegetables in your diet. *take small meals.

It has been two days. I did not mind as I was busy traveling. My left eye lid is swollen a little. It feels like a bug bite. But center area of swelling is down side of eyelid. May be its just a pimple. But it feels more like a bite. Do I need to see a doctor. Could it get serious. Now it is ok. But visible only you try to see it. No body noticed as I wear glasses.

Hi, this may be small pimple over the margin of eyelid which has caused swelling. Heat inside body or exposure to dust may have caused this. Please take a close look at the eyelid margin. Take following medicines hepar sulph 30 4pills to be sucked thrice a day for 7 days calc suph 200 4pills to ba sucked thrice a day revert back.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

Hello Doctor! My husbands age is 36. His weight is 81 kg. He has cholesterol problem otherwise he is fine no other ailment. He does go for walk daily but his weight does not come down soon. I have started giving him salad before meal. He has reduced on sweet intake and rice intake. We also keep drinking warm water .He drinks warm water with cinnamon powder mix. He does not like taking medicines. Can I give him karela juice to reduce weight. We like applying little ghee on roti while lunch and dinner is that ok. What are the other diet we can give to reduce cholesterol naturally.

Hello Fatima you r doing very good things ghee is also important for body n that much is required for body, you can also add sprouts in breakfast, milk n cornflakes, boiled egg remove yolk, n there r ayurvedic medicine that you can give. You can ask for further details

Hello, None of the above two reasons have scientific evidences to prove. Lemon water simply aids digestion, nothing else. You cannot rely on it for weight loss.

Hi ravi if your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Increase liquids drinking plenty of liquids helps flush out toxins from the body. Keep yourself hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, also include lassi, coconut, water, lemon water in your daily routine. Make sure to include homemade soups only, as packaged soups are not that nutritious and contain added sodium in them. 6. Carbonated beverages and alcohol these give you extended bellies and your dream of flat tummy falls flat. Alcohol gives you empty calories with zero nutrition. 7. Probiotic curds include low fat curd in your diet regime as it contains live bacteria which tame bloating by increasing intestinal motility. 8. Method of cooking no doubt salads and sprouts are good for our health but if experience distension with them then saute, blanch or steam them also fried foods are best to be avoided not only because of their high-calorie content but also because frying leads to changes in oil composition which may result in bloating. 9. Avoid chewing gums and candies while chewing them air enters our digestive system, giving us feeling of bloating, also candies are zero in nutrition but contain loads of calories. Also, eat slowly as gulping down increases air passage to the digestive system 10. Individual tolerances some individuals are more intolerant to certain foods like radish, capsicum, tea, cauliflower etc, so with your own personal experience omit them from your diet.

i Am 26 years old. I had my abortion using pills last month, bt still I have not got my monthly period for this month, why this is delaying and when it come normal.

Dear doctor, when I become confused or stressed or depressed by putting pressure on mind without sexual stimulation, semen is discharged from penis. So my body is becoming weak and my weight is deduced and head ache I have such a problem. While taking stress, it happens so, is it possible for me to get affected by cardiac arrest, diabetes, some dangerous disease in future. I'm male, age- 29.

V. Stop worrying & tension is best remedy. Do 45 minutes morning walk. Also yoga etc. Avoid stress. Take everything easy & do not put presdure on mind. Dinner early at 8 & sleep early 9 & sleep 8 hrs app. Do not assume othef thinkings may have in future diseases.
