Hello Doc. Meri shadi ko 3 and half years ho chuke h and hum log last 1 year se try kr rahe the. Phle PCOD ki problem thi or ovulation bhi nahi ho raha tha. Jiske liye doc ne injection lagta tha her month usi se ovulation hota tha. Per fir mene wo lene band kar diye or patanjali ki medicines li. Jis ke ek month bad hi conceive ho gya. 15th may 2016 ko mere last periods aaye the. Uske bad 16,17 june ko halki spotting hi hui. Urine test positive tha. Fir meri gynic doc ne pregnancy wale normal tests likhe. Unka result normal tha. Uske bad 26th june ko fir se spotting shuru hui. Doc ne progestrone k 5 dino k 5 injections diye. Per fir bhi spotting continues thi or fir (sath me folic acid and progestrone ki medicine regular thi) .fir 10th june ko koi spotting nhi thi. Or uske bad koi spotting nahi thi. Uske bad ek sonography hui jo 7th july ko hui. Uski reprt thi. Uterus Antiverted, bulky in size. It Shows echotexture. G.G.S. Of size 1.78-6.4. Free fluid absent in P O D. Right ovary normal in size and shape. Left ovary-normal in size and shape. Or doc ne bola ki size kam h to 50 -50 chances h . N hearbeat check krne k liye 15-20 din bad ek or ultrasound likha. Lekin us test se pahle hi 18th july ko raat ko achank se bahut bleeding hui n 1-2 clotts bhi nikle. Fir doc ne bola ki ab aap isko clear karwalo and d and c k liye bola. Lekin mujhe laga ki 2 mnths ki pregnanacy h to medicines se hi clear ho jayega so doc ki batayi hui clear kit li (combipack of mifepristone and misoprostol tablets) ye first tablets 20 july ko li uske bad ki 2-2 tablets 22nd july ko li. And 22nd july ko bahut jyada bleeding thi n kafi sare clotts bhi nikle (i used 9-10 pads. Uske bad 23 and 24 july ko bhi jyada bleeding (i used 7-8 pads) thi. Uske bad 4-5 din tk bleeding (4-5 pads) thi and pain bhi tha. Uske bad doc ko dikhaya to unhone Amoxycillin and Potassium Clavulanate tablets IP. Methygene (din me 3 time, Aclowin (acelofenac and paracetamol tablets) .ye medicines 5 dino k liye di. Or ek or sonography 29 july ko hui. Jisme doc ne bola ki abhi bhi kuch product jo chote chote pieces h wo ander h.or clear kit se poora clear nhi hua to aap D and C karwalo. Uske bad mere husband ne bola ki ek or doc ki opinion lete h to ek or doc k paas gye unhone sari reports dekhi or kaha ki kuch product abhi ander h per abhi d and c karwane ki koi jarurat nhi h.next periods me aapke sab clear ho jayega. 31 july tak last spotting thi. To ab doc ne 8 august tak wait krne ko bola h. Doc pls aap bataye ki Dand C se hi clear hoga ya normally clelar ho jayega. Kyu ki doc ne esa bhi bola h ki agar proper clear nhi hoga to aage conceive krne me problem aayegi. Or ye meri first pregnancy thi. Doc pls bataye. Bahut confused hu. Or doc intercourse kab se kar skte h ye bhi pls bataye? TIA.

How Ayurveda Helps Manage Chest Congestion?

Ayurveda is an ancient life science that originated in India. It recognises herbs as medicines and Yogic postures as well as lifestyle changes as the supporting factors in its medicinal field. It is called a life science because the basic mode of treatment is done by tweaking one's lifestyle in order to reach the root cause of the ailment, which will be cleared from one's life gradually. Congestion is recognised as the accumulation of too much mucus and fluid in your lungs and is usually born due to an imbalance of the Vata Dosha, as per Ayurveda. This congestion can happen in the nasal or respiratory passages.

Let us find out what else Ayurveda says about congestion:

  • Symptoms: The symptoms of congestion include a tickling sensation at the back of the throat as well as the nasal passages, depending on the exact area of the congestion. Also, severe headaches and wheezing along with laboured breathing and tightening of the chest can point at the presence of congestion. In very severe cases, the patient may also complain of blood discharge while coughing, high fever, rashes on the skin, neck stiffness and other such conditions. 
  • Causes: There are various causes of congestion. While infection, allergy and cold are some of the most common conditions that may cause congestion, it has also been seen that congestion may arise as a symptom of a more serious ailment. Asthma is one such respiratory ailment that causes swelling in the airways, which can give rise to congestion. Also, inflammation of the bronchial tube lining can cause this condition where a greenish discharge happens due to the viral nature of the condition. Pneumonia and tuberculosis are also ailments, which can cause severe and painful congestion. 
  • Remedies: As per Ayurveda, there are many remedies that can help in treating this condition. One can drink herbal tea all day as the anti-oxidants will help in flushing out all those toxins that are causing a painful build-up of mucus and fluids inside. Also, one can use essential oils like eucalyptus oil for inhalation, steaming and even massages. One must take care not to let this oil touch the hair as greying might happen. Yoga and aromatherapy can also be practiced so as to do away with congestion. Also, the patient can add a pinch of salt to a glass of warm water in order to do a saline water gargle which will eventually clear the air passages.

Taking care of one's diet is one of the most important parts of any treatment in Ayurveda. Ingesting warm liquids like milk and warm food can help in loosening and removing the mucus build up. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Ayurveda.

What to Do When You Have an Abnormal Pap Smear?

A Pap smear test helps in detecting the signs and onset of cervical cancer. This test helps in pointing at the presence of any suspicious cells that may require further examination and testing with the help of an oncologist. You will enjoy a negative result in case you have a normal reading during the examination process and no further treatment will be required. Yet, you will be asked to go through the test on a regular basis. But here is what happens if you have an abnormal reading.

  1. Positive Result: You are said to have a positive result, if you have any unusual or abnormal cells were found during this Pap Smear Test. While this may not necessarily mean that you have cervical cancer, it can show what kind of abnormal cells are present in this area of your body. The doctor will check for the following things after a positive result.
  2. ASCUS: This is also known as Atypical Squamous Cells of Undetermined Significance. This is a liquid based test that will seek to study the thin and flat squamous cells that may be found on the surface of a perfectly healthy and normal cervix. This test will check for the presence of any virus that may lead to the development of cancer and to determine the level of risk to the patient. Further, if there is any high risk virus, then further treatment and testing will be required.
  3. Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion: When some of the cells that have been extracted during the Pap Smear test turn out to be precancerous, then they are Squamous Intraepithelial Lesions. In many cases, it takes a few years for these lesions to turn cancerous especially when the changes are low grade, which pertains to the size, shape and other features of the same. If a high grade lesion is detected, then diagnostic testing in the form of imaging tests may be required.
  4. Atypical Glandular Cells: These mucus producing cells grow within the cervical opening and usually spread into the uterus as well. While they may appear abnormal, it is difficult to tell whether or not they are cancerous, especially in the early stages.
  5. Squamous Cell Cancer: This is an almost certain reading of the growth of cancer in the cervix. When a reading from the Pap Smear includes such a finding, the doctor will recommend immediate evaluation.
  6. Colposcopy: Once you have had a positive reading with any of the above findings, the doctor will perform this procedure with sample tissue extracted during a biopsy. This will be done with the use of a special magnifying tool known as a colposcope to examine the cervix, vagina and vulva tissues.

If it's because of tubal problem and tube is swollen, it's better to cut or clip the tube because it increases success rate.

Eat a high-fiber diet:

Consuming a diet that is high in fiber and rich in whole grains, vegetables, legumes, and fruits can improve your digestive health" a high-fiber diet helps to keep food moving through your digestive tract, making you less likely to get constipated" adding that a high-fiber diet can also help you prevent or treat various digestive conditions, such as diverticulosis, hemorrhoids, and irritable bowel syndrome. In addition, it can help you achieve or maintain a healthy weight.

Get insoluble and soluble fiber:

It is important to consume both types of fiber, which each help your digestive system in different ways" insoluble fiber, also known as roughage, can't be digested by the body and therefore helps add bulk to the stools, soluble fiber draws in water and can help prevent stools that are too watery" good sources of insoluble fiber include wheat bran, vegetables, and whole grains; get soluble fiber from oat bran, nuts, seeds, and legumes.

Limit foods that are high in fat:

In general, fatty foods tend to slow down the digestive process, making you more prone to constipation. But since it is important to get some fat in your diet, adams says that pairing fatty foods with high-fiber foods can make them easier on your digestive system.

Choose lean meats:

Protein is an essential part of a healthful diet, but fatty cuts of meat can lead to uncomfortable digestion. When you eat meat, select lean cuts, such as pork loin and skinless poultry.

Incorporate probiotics into your diet:

Probiotics are the healthy bacteria naturally present in your digestive tract. They help keep the body healthy by combating the effects of a poor diet, antibiotics, and stress, in addition, probiotics can enhance nutrient absorption, help break down lactose, strengthen your immune system, and possibly even help treat irritable bowel syndrome. Adams recommends that people eat good sources of probiotics, such as low-fat yogurt or kefir, on a daily basis.

Eat on schedule:

Consuming your meals and snacks on a regular schedule can help keep your digestive system in top shape. Aim to sit down for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks around the same time each day.
Stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is good for your digestive health. Water in your digestive system helps dissolve fats and soluble fiber, allowing these substances to pass through more easily.

Skip the bad habits:

Smoking and avoid excessive caffeine and alcohol. Liquor, coffee, and cigarettes can interfere with the functioning of your digestive system, and lead to problems like stomach ulcers and heartburn.

Exercise regularly:

" regular exercise helps keep foods moving through your digestive system, reducing constipation" says adams. And exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight, which is good for your digestive health. Make it a point to work regular exercise into your weekly schedule.

Manage stress:

Too much stress or anxiety can cause your digestive system to go into overdrive. Find stress-reducing activities that you enjoy and practice them on a regular basis.

आज मैं कैसी लग रही हूं?.. ये हर रोज पूछा जाने वाला सवाल है। कभी दूसरों से तो कभी खुद से, क्योंकि दुनिया में ऐसा कोई नहीं.. जो सुन्दर ना दिखना चाहता हो। बेदाग़ निखरी त्वचा का हर कोई दीवाना होता है। 
पर मुश्किल ये है कि चेहरा कितना भी खूबसूरत क्यों  ना हो। उसपर एक छोटा सा भी मुहांसा हो जाए तो पूरे चेहरे की सुंदरता को तार-तार कर देता है। ख़ासकर टीनएज में हम में से ज्यादातर लोगों को इस तकलीफ़ से जूझना पड़ता है।

कारण  
हार्मोनल चेंजेस, ऑयली स्किन, किसी चीज से एलर्जी, ज्यादा तेलहनयुक्त भोजन, पेट की बीमारियां। कास्मेटिक्स, पर्याप्त पानी न पीने की आदत, और धूल-मिट्टी गन्दगी के संपर्क में आने जैसी कई वजहों से अक्सर कील मुहांसे हो जाते हैं, इनसे बचने के लिए हमें अपनानी पड़ती हैं कुछ सावधानियां और कुछ घरेलु उपाय।.. 

1. मुंहासों को न फोडें 
जब भी आपको मुंहासे आएं, उनसे झुंझलाकर या छुटकारा पाने के लिए उसे फोड़ें नहीं। क्योंकि जब आप इसे फोड़ते हैं। तो इसका सीरम निकलकर पूरे चेहरे पर फैल जाता है, जिससे पूरे चेहरे पर मुंहासे हो जाते हैं।
2. तौलिये से न रगड़ें 
मुहांसों को कभी तौलिया से ना रगड़ें। क्योंकि ऐसा करने से आप अनजाने में एक जगह के मुंहासे को पूरे चेहरे पर फैलने का मौका दे देते हैं। इसलिए बेहतर होगा कि चेहरे पर आये मुहांसों के साथ इस तरह की छेड़छाड़ ना करें।
3. भाप 
मुहांसे होने पर स्किन के उस हिस्से को भाप देने से स्किन के पोर्स खुल जाते हैं। इससे स्किन के सेल्स को सांस लेने में आसानी होती है। त्वचा की सारी गन्दगी और एक्स्ट्रा ऑइल। जो कील मुंहासे बनकर चेहरे पर जमा होते हैं। वो ख़त्म हो जाते हैं। भाप लेने से त्वचा के दूसरे इन्फेक्शन भी ख़त्म हो जाते हैं। भाप लेने के लिए आप स्टीमर या किसी बड़े बर्तन में पानी उबालें। पानी उबलने पर अपने चेहरे को बर्तन की ओर झुकाएं। ताकि भाप चेहरे पर आए। इसके बाद चेहरे को गुनगुने पानी से धोकर तेल मुफ्त मॉइस्चराइजर लगाएं। ये नुस्खा कुछ दिन रेगुलर आजमाएं,और कील मुहांसों से हमेशा के लिए छुटकारा पा जाएं।
4. कपूर और नारियल तेल  
कपूर तो हम सभी के घरों में होता है। कपूर के औषधीय गुणों से भी हम सभी वाकिफ़ हैं। यह  पूजा पाठ आरती में तो हमेशा इस्तेमाल किया ही जाता है। साथ ही शरीर के जल जाने पर। हर तरह की स्किन रिलेटेड प्रॉब्लम से निपटने में भी अहम् रोल अदा करता है। तो कपूर हमारे मुंहासों के लिए भी कुछ कम कारगर नहीं।
जब भी आपको मुंहासे परेशान करें। आप बस थोड़ा सा कपूर नारियल के तेल में मिला लें। इस पेस्ट को अपने मुहांसों पर लगाएं। और 10 मिनट बाद धो लें। थोड़े ही दिनों में आप अपने चेहरे को मुंहासो से मुक्त पाएंगे।
5. पुदीना और हल्दी 
आमतौर पर सभी जानते हैं कि पुदीने से चटनी बनाई जाती है। जलजीरा बनाने में इस्तेमाल होता है।लेकिन पुदीने में कई तरह के औषधीय गुणों के साथ-साथ आपके चेहरे का सौन्दर्य निखारने की विशेषता भी होती है। इसमें मौजूद मेंथोल त्वचा को स्वस्थ बनाता है और कील मुंहासों को दूर भगाता है।  और हल्दी के गुणों से तो आप वाकिफ हैं ही, सो थोड़ा सा पुदीना पीसकर उसमें एक चुटकी हल्दी मिलाएं। और रोज रात चेहरे पर लगाकर 30 मिनट बाद चेहरा धो लें। इससे आपके चेहरे से मुंहासे अलविदा कहकर चले जाएंगे।
6. चन्दन पाउडर 
चंदन का पाउडर मुंहासे भगाने में बहुत कारगर इलाज है। यह न सिर्फ आपके चेहरे को फ्रेश रखता  है। बल्कि मुंहासों को दुबारा लौटने से भी रोकता है। अगर आपके चेहरे पर मुंहासे हैं। तो चंदन पाउडर, हल्दी  और कपूर को मिला कर एक पेस्टट तैयार करें। इसे मुंहासों पर लगाएं। और 2-3 घंटों के बाद चेहरे को ठंडे पानी से धो लें। इसे रेगुलर इस्तेमाल करके आप हमेशा के लिए मुहांसों से छुटकारा पा सकते हैं।
7. काली मिर्च और गुलाब जल 
काली मिर्च खाने का स्वाद तो बढ़ाती ही है। मुंहासों को ख़त्म करने में भी काली मिर्च जादुई असर रखती है। जब भी आपको मुंहासे परेशान करें तो बस आप काली मिर्च की मदद लें। काली मिर्च के कुछ दाने गुलाब जल में पीसकर रात को चेहरे पर लगाएं। सुबह चेहरे को गर्म पानी से धो लें। इससे आपके मुंहासे तो सूख ही जाएंगे। साथ ही चेहरे की झुर्रियां भी ख़त्म हो जाएंगी। और आपका चेहरा चमकने लगेगा।
8. बेकिंग सोडा और शहद 
वैसे तो बेकिंग सोडा हम खाने – पीने में इस्तेमाल करते हैं। पर ये मुंहासों की अचूक और चमत्कारी दवा है। कील मुंहासों से निजात पाने के लिए एक चम्मच बेकिंग सोडा में एक चम्मच शहद मिलाएं और थोड़ा गरम पानी डालकर इसका पेस्ट बना लें। अब इस पेस्ट को क्रीम की तरह चेहरे पर लगा लें। दस मिनट तक इसे लगा रहने दें। उसके बाद चेहरा ठन्डे पानी से धो लें। कुछ ही दिनों में आपका चेहरा चमकता हुआ बेदाग़ दिखने लगेगा।

Hi, first correct your vitamin-d deficiency then you should try for conception as during pregnancy you can't take high dose of vitamin -d.

Hello Mr. Lybrate-user, congratulations on your upcoming plans. It seems you have already searched and come to the right choice of planning your family. Oral contraceptives are very reliable form of contraception provided your wife remembers to pop one pill every night without fail. In case she forgets to take it at night, please remember to pop the forgotten pill immediately next day morning and also take the usual dose of pill on the same night. If used consistently the chances of failure of oc pills are next to none. Start your pack of tablet juliana on the first day of your period, mark the day of the week, e. G. If you start first pack on a wednesday, you will finish 21 tablets in 21 days, wait for 7 days after the pack is over and then restart next pack on the next wednesday again. Exercise every day

The more active you are, the better, meng says. Exercise boosts your heart health, builds muscle and bone strength, and wards off health problems.

Aim for 2 and a half hours of moderate activity, like brisk walking or dancing, every week. If you're ok with vigorous exercise, stick to 1 hour and 15 minutes a week of things like running or playing tennis. Add a couple of days of strength training, too.

If you're busy, try short bursts of activity throughout the day. Walk often. A good target is 10, 000 steps a day. Take the stairs. Park your car far away from your destination.

Montgomery exercises every day, often with her dog. By adding lunges, squats, and stairs to a walk, she turns it into a power workout" I also am a huge pilates fan" she says.

Lose weight

When you shed pounds you'll lower your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and cancer.

Aim for a slow, steady drop. Try to lose 1-2 pounds a week by being active and eating better.

As you improve, dial up the time and how hard you work out. If you want to lose a lot of weight, try for 300 minutes of exercise a week.

"Eating a healthy diet will go a long way" meng says. Start by cutting sugar, which she says is often hiding in plain sight -- in store-bought items like salad dressing, packaged bread, and nuts. Try to avoid soda and sugar-laced coffee drinks, too.

Cut down your stress

It can take a toll on your health. You probably can't avoid it altogether, but you can find ways to ease the impact. Don't take on too much. Try to set limits with yourself and others. It's ok to say no.

To relieve stress, try:

Deep breathing, meditation, yoga, exercise, healthy eating, talking to a friend, family member, or professional counselor.

It’s frustrating to see that though there is little change in diet, weight gain becomes normal as we get older. ‘Tyres’ around the tummy and heavy hips are often seen as a sign of being middle aged. There are many reasons for this change in the rate of weight gain. Some of them are:

  1. Lower metabolic rate: As children and teenagers, the body is constantly growing and changing and hence has a high metabolic rate. Metabolic rate refers to the speed with which fat is burned to produce energy. After the age of 30, this metabolic rate naturally slows down and fewer calories are burned. This leads to the accumulation of fat. The only way to boost your metabolic rate and burn fat is by exercising.

  2. Less muscle mass: With age, the muscles in the body also begin to shrink. Thus, instead of forming muscle, fat cells are formed as a result of digestion. When comparing muscles and fat cells, the former burn more calories and hence when they are unavailable, the rate of burning calories is lowered leading to weight gain.

  3. Weight gain in menopause: When it comes to women, menopause is another trigger for weight gain. This is because, this condition is marked by hormonal imbalances. This leads to a sudden drop in estrogen levels that triggers a response in the body to draw out more estrogen from the fat cells. Ultimately, this leads to the formation of more fat. Men too can suffer from hormonal imbalances as they age. This is seen by a drop in testosterone levels that leads to abdominal weight gain.

  4. Sedentary lifestyle: As we get older, our lifestyle turns more sedentary. A sedentary lifestyle is very unhealthy and leads to not only weight gain, but a number of other problems as well. Without regular exercise, the body’s existing metabolic rate further reduces leading to accumulation of fat cells. To combat this, take half an hour out of your schedule every day to go for a walk, cycle or practice any form of exercise.

  5. Stress: Stress not only affects your psychological health, but your physical well-being as well. Being under pressure or anxious can increase the cortisol levels in the body. This creates hunger pangs that lead to unhealthy snacking. When eating in a stressful condition, little or no attention is paid to the food being eaten or the messages your body is trying to give you. Unless they r causing pain in the abdomen which is not relieved by medicines and if causing repeated infection there, then there is no need to operate on gall stones. There is no medicine during pregnancy which can dissolve these stones.
