hi...If it's anterior tooth then filling is the answer and for posterior tooth filling or crown can give good results but before doing treatment xray has to be taken in order to see the level n type of bone loss !

Dear doctor, my daughter age is 21 years, she has thyroid problem from last 3 years. yes her tsh level is high. IN HYPOTHYROIDISM:--- where there is deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving thyroxine tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Go for walk, Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, avoid oily foods,junk foods, go for walk. Do Tests every 3 to 6 months. And consult doctor on time.

Nothing is more disappointing than a failed attempt to lose weight and the constant struggle to shed the flab. Sometimes, best results can be achieved by making simple changes to your lifestyle, including your eating habits without being emotionally and physically stressed. If you have to lose weight, you might as well enjoy the process and do it in a healthier way. Following are ayurvedic tips for a healthier and systematic weight loss:

1. Hot water

Hot water combined with lemon juice and ginger or herbal teas acts as a natural detox. Sip on hot water throughout the day to cleanse your entire internal system from impurities and blockages. It helps to improve digestion and staves off hunger in between meals. It is one of the easiest ways to lose weight and stay healthy at the same time. It is advisable to drink boiled water as it is considered to be more effective than hot water.

2. Eat warm and cooked foods for lunch

Your lunch should consist of warm and cooked foods as they are easily digestible and provide the right amount of nutrients for your body. You can include a variety of cooked food in your lunch because the body metabolism gets adequate time to process the food. Eating cold food has a reverse effect on your body as they lead to weight gain. Avoid a diet consisting of only carbohydrates and proteins as they do not nourish your body but simply make you crave for food in between meals. Instead go for green vegetable and lean protein.

3. Light evening meal

The body metabolism and digestion slows down as you reach the end of the day so it's recommended to have light evening meals. Heavy meals in the evening are often poorly digested and accumulate as excess fat. All your efforts of weight maintenance throughout the day goes in vain if you eat a meal of processed foods or foods rich in refined carbohydrates. It is recommended to eat a vegetarian meal or a meal consisting of complex grains like brown rice. Avoid binging on leftovers and high calorie desserts.
 
4. Exercise

It goes without saying that exercise is a key to a healthy mind and body. Do away with a sedentary lifestyle as that is one of the primary causes of weight gain. If you don't have time to workout it will help even if you take a walk daily. Exercise will not only help you to lose the extra kilos but will keep your energy up and increase your body's metabolism. It also improves bone and muscle health.

I have very dark circles around my eyes. Because of that my face looks to much dull and very dry. I take 7 hrs of sleep daily. But my diet is not properly. Drink around 3.5 ltr Water daily. I take my first meal at 12 pm mostly. Im smoker. Please suggest me proper diet and how to reduce dark circle and dull face. I'm planning to quit smoking.

Hi lybrate-user, Dark circles around eyes is a common problem nowadays. There are treatment options available with you to choose from. Hi, If you’re aiming to gain some strength and build muscle, you must follow the points mentioned below: Start exercising. If you’re a beginner, focus on bodyweight exercises like push up, pull up and squat.  The basic push up and chin up are invaluable exercises you can do with very little equipment. Increase their difficulty by adding reps or affixing weights to your legs. Consume a balanced diet. It's important to eat big meals to fuel muscle growth while you're training. You’ll need to eat healthy, whole foods that will nourish and restore your muscles. Consume all types of fruits, vegetables, grains, oils and dairy products. Take adequate rest. Many people take this step lightly, but it's absolutely essential when it comes to gain strength. That means you won't be able to work out as hard or lift as much as you otherwise would, not to mention you'll be more prone to injury if you're feeling sleepy. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night, possibly more depending on your individual needs, during heavy workout periods. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chicken breast, egg whites, fish, pulses provide you all the protein you need without containing any unnecessary fat. Focus on compound movements. Compound movements are those which engages more than one muscle group. Exercises like bench press, squat, dead lift are great examples of compound exercises to gain strength quickly. Lift heavy. If your main aim is to gain strength, you’ll need to lift heavy weights in the gym and thus, lower the repetitions of your sets. Moderate-rep sets are important when training for muscle size. However, to build strength, you're going to have to train with heavier weights, meaning you'll do fewer reps. Limit cardio to once or twice per week. Cardio exercises like running, swimming, and biking are great ways to keep your endurance good and your circulation healthy. However, they aren't the best exercises you can do if your goal is to gain strength. Weight training requires loads of energy, and if yours has already been used up by a long run or bike ride, you won't have enough left over to give weight training your best shot. Limit cardio to once or twice per week so your energy reserves are ready to expend on building strength.

Like any other part of the body or component of health, hair needs a variety of nutrients to grow and be healthy,Here, the nutrients you need for a full head of hair—and the foods that pack them: Omega-3 Fatty Acids Good for more than your brain, omega-3 fatty acids nourish your whole body. The essential nutrient reaches both the hair shaft and the cell membranes in your scalp, nourishing the follicles and promoting healthy hair growth, Plus, they add elasticity to your hair, preventing it from breaking off and ending up in your shower drain. But get this—the body can't produce omega 3-fatty acids on its own; whatever you eat is what your body gets. So dig in! The foods to eat: Flaxseeds, walnuts, salmon, tuna, kale, Brussels sprouts, rapeseed oil. Zinc Boosting tissue growth and repair, zinc helps keep your scalp and hair stay healthy. It also regulates hormones (testosterone included) in the body and helps maintain production of oil-secreting glands on the scalp that help your hair grow. There's no need to go overboard, though. Scrimp on selenium and your body will churn out way too much selenoproteins, leading to hair follicle abnormalities, reduced growth, and hair loss. Castor oil: • helps with hair regrowth and hair loss, • makes the hair richer and darker, • prevents split ends, • treats dandruff and dry scalp, • moisturizes the hair and makes it shine, • works in an antifungal and antibacterial way and can prevent problems such as ringworm, and folliculitis. How to apply castor oil It’s best to use castor oil as a hair mask. This is particularly helpful if you’re trying to regrow hair or give it more moist and shine. 1. Castor oil has a thick consistency, so you can mix it with coconut oil, olive oil or jojoba oil in a half and half ratio. This will make the mask easier to distribute throughout your hair. 2. Use your fingers or a brush and start applying it onto your scalp with circular motions. This gentle massage increases the blood circulation, rejuvenates the hair, and stimulates hair growth. 3. Part hair into sections and apply the oil (mixture) to each section until all your hair is covered properly and evenly. 4. Wrap your hair in a warm towel (you can also use a shower cap) and leave it for two to eight hours. You can also leave it over night. This will give the oil enough time to penetrate the follicles and hydrate your scalp and hair thoroughly. 5. Wash your hair as usual using shampoo and conditioner. Make sure you rinse all the oil out of your hair. How often should you use castor oil? This depends on your objective and type of hair. If your aim is to treat hair loss, you will need to do it at least twice weekly, but even better if you can do it three or four times per week for several weeks. For split ends and increased shine, you can use the oil as a conditioner once weekly. Be careful not to use too much of it (a pea-sized amount should do) or you can end up with an over-oily scalp. For best results use unrefined castor oil, as it contains more nutrients and healing properties.

You may use akpree cream over effected areas by washing or cleaning with warm saline water before using akpree cream twice daily for 20days. If you feel better result then continue it for 3-6months.

मेथी  एक  जड़ी  बूटी  है  जो  भूमध्य  क्षेत्र,  दक्षिणी  यूरोप  और  पश्चिमी  एशिया  के मूल  है। यह कई भारतीय व्यंजनों और घरेलू उपचार में एक लोकप्रिय घटक है। मेथी को कीट से बचाने वाली क्रीम के रूप में भी इस्तेमाल किया गया है। वे विटामिनों जैसे कि थायामिन, फोलिक एसिड, रिबोफ़्लिविन, नियासिन, विटामिन ए, बी 6 और सी में समृद्ध हैं।
मेथी के लाभ:
1. पाचन समस्याओं और कोलेस्ट्रॉल स्तर में सुधार:

पुरुषों के लिए मेथी के कुछ उपयोग में हर्नियास, स्तंभन दोष जैसा रोग का उपचार शामिल है। मेथी यौन उत्तेजना और टेस्टोस्टेरोन के स्तर को भी बढ़ा सकती है।
8. मासिक धर्म का ऐंठन कम करें:
मेथी के बीज मासिक धर्म के दर्द के साथ-साथ माहवारी के साथ जुड़े अन्य लक्षणों के दर्द को कम करने में भी मदद कर सकते हैं। मेथी में डायोस्जेनिन नामक एक पदार्थ होता है जो एस्ट्रोजेन के समान व्यवहार करता है। यह तनाव, चक्कर आना, और नींद की कमी और रजोनिवृत्ति के लक्षणों को काटने में मदद करता है।
9. हृदय जोखिम को कम कर देता है:

मेथी के दुष्प्रभाव
मेथी अपने स्वाद और स्वास्थ्य लाभों के लिए अत्यधिक मूल्यवान है यही वजह है कि इसका स्वास्थ्य पूरक के रूप में अत्यधिक उपयोग और दुरुपयोग भी सामान्य है। जिसके कारण कुछ साइड इफेक्ट हो सकते हैं या कुछ मामलों में गंभीर समस्या भी हो सकती है।
1. बड़ी खुराक में, मेथी अपने टेराटोजेनिक क्षमता के कारण जन्म दोष पैदा कर सकता है। इसलिए अपने चिकित्सक से इसके उपयोग के बारे में परामर्श करने की सलाह दी जाती है।
2. मेथी एक गर्भाशय उत्तेजक है इसलिए अतिरिक्त खुराक प्रतिकूल गर्भाशय के संकुचन का कारण बन सकता है जो प्रारंभिक श्रम पर आ सकता है।
3. जब मुंह से अधिक लिया जाता है, तो यह गैस, सूजन और दस्त का कारण हो सकता है।
4. मेथी से एलर्जी के आम लक्षण हैं चकत्ता, पित्ती, सांस फूलना और बेहोशी।
5. यदि आप कोई भी मौखिक दवाएं ले रहे हैं, तो आपको इन दवाओं से कम से कम दो घंटे पहले या बाद में मेथी का प्रयोग करना चाहिए।

Foods You Must Avoid If You Are Feeling Sick!

You are feeling under the weather, and you wish you could eat something fried or processed right now to feel better. But that may not be the smartest thing to do! Read on to know more about what you should avoid eating when you are sick.

  1. If you are suffering from diarrhea, don’t go anywhere near sweet foods made of artificial sweeteners, since sorbitol (a kind of artificial sweetener) isn’t digestible and can instigate diarrhea. Also, avoid foods that can trigger bloating and gas, such as apples, onion, broccoli, beans and cabbages. Dairy, caffeine and alcohol can also provoke diarrhoea.
  2. Don’t consume dairy products, chocolate, pain medications and iron supplements if you are constipated.
  3. If you are nauseous, don’t eat greasy, oily or spicy foods. Avoid carbonated drinks, caffeine and alcohol as well.
  4. If you are having difficulties in swallowing due to a sore throat, hot fluids are by far the most beneficial. Not only do they help soothe your sore throat, but they're also known to loosen mucus, which may help relieve other symptoms such as congestion and stuffiness, often accompanying a sore throat, so consider eating soup or drinking hot water to alleviate the pain, and scratchy, hard foods such as granola, potato chips and nuts. Acidic juices made from vegetables and fruits, such as grape juice or orange juice, can also aggravate a sore throat.
  5. When your body aches, don’t grab that cup of espresso or that glass of whiskey, since both caffeine and alcohol can dehydrate the body, thereby worsening the pain.
  6. Stay away from artificial sweeteners, aged chesses, MSG (monosodium glutamate which is found in soy sauce), chocolate, red wine and processed meat, if you have a headache. MSG has been linked to blood pressure which can cause headaches.
  7. Dairy products, processed or packaged foods, should be avoided if you have an earache.
  8. If you have an allergy, don’t consume milk, wheat, soy, berries, eggs, tomatoes, fish, nuts, chocolates and nuts. These foods commonly cause itching.
  9. You might have cold, or your nose won’t stop running. A hot broth or hot tea will give you comfort, but you should avoid spicy foods and alcohol. Spicy foods actually aggravate a runny nose.
  10. Flu, sinus or cold infection can inflame and irritate nasal blood vessels, making you feel like your nose is blocked. Avoid sugar and spicy foods if you have a congested nose.
