A very common side effect of taking i-pill is a significant alteration in periods –they can either be early or be delayed. Most women will experience withdrawal bleeding at the scheduled or expected dates, while some may get menses within 5 days. If you get periods earlier then expected date or on date, you can be assured that pregnancy has not taken place, but in case of delay in periods, it is best to take a pregnancy test one week over the expected date. This is largely a rare occurrence.

I am 50 years old lady with weight around 79 kg. Having irregular periods with heavy flow and severe stomach pain for past 4-5 years. 2015 and past ultrasound revealed a normal size uterus having one small fibroid. Undergone dnc and biopsy (which was negative) in 2013. Doctor advised to take trapic mf 3 times a day. Another private doctor advised me to undergo hysterectomy while government doctor advised me to go through this phase considering my age it may be sign of menopause. 1. Should I take medicine or go for operation? 2. If operation, will it be laparoscopy or major operation? I had 2 caesarean operations in 1987 and 1991. I was told that due to caesarean operations it may be not be possible to do laparoscopy as some organs may be joined with uterus over the years due to the internal stitches. Any clinical test that can reveal the above fact. 3. For how many days trapic mf can be taken. My last periods lasted for 20 to 25 days and therefore had to take it for all these days. Any side effect of taking trapic mf for long? 4. Also taking homeopathic medicine for the past 4-5 years was helping me to some extent. Recently medicine was changed which finally stopped the bleeding after 20 to 25 days but the side effect is that I am feeling very sleepy and lethargy.

if pain is occurring for long time it is better to do surgery. One can try with laparoscopy and if impossible to separate bladder from uterus one can proceed with open surgery. trapic mf should not be taken for so long. homeopathic medicine is of doubtful role in relieving these kind of conditions.

Hi lybrate-user! For white discharge if its not getting reduced you should visit your doctor, get a vaginal swab for culture and sensitivity done. This will tell us the causative agent for the discharge and qill help us give you specific therapy accordingly. As far as swelling of legs is concerned you should get your blood pressure monitored and Hb checked. Agar BP normal hai, khoon ki kami nahi hai to proteins ki kami ke karan ya sirf pregnancy ke hi karan swelling ho sakti hai. Aise me feet ko namak ke gungune pani me thidi der rakhne se kutch aaram milega. Raat ko sote waqt pairon ke neeche pillow rakh ke soyen aur din me active rahe. You will definitely feel better. If BP or Hb are not within normal range your will have to take care of it. All the best.

I am thirty years old and got my second baby delivered a year back. I am now experiencing hip and body pain before and during my menstruation period. It was not there before. From the time I attended puberty I have not experienced any stomach pain also during menstruation. What's the reason for this? PS. I had both normal deliveries.

Have u taken iron and calcium during and after pregnancy for six months. Most of the women's stop taking medicines after delivery, which is wrong as u r feeding ur baby u need extra calcium and iron than regular. Which is the cause of back pain weakness, body ache.
