Pain is complex, so there are many treatment options medications, therapies, and mind-body techniques. There is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. A therapeutic diet complemented with few medications for pain management can also work wonders. Do reply back for medications. Being also a general physician, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary tips taking into account patient preferences.

Simply soak in a tub full of warm water (not hot as it can cause your blood pressure to drop). You can add essential oils or Epsom salts to help relieve pain. A warm bath before bed may also improve your sleep. Aerobics exercise, walking, swimming, and cycling. Some studies support that TENS and joint mobilizations foster the reduction of pain as short term relief in patients with FMS. Specifically, patients with chronic back pain due to FMS may benefit from spinal manipulations. And also consult on physiotherpy.

This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help and along side you can do hot water fermentation. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain ie. Due to the nerve compression. It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason your body becomes tired though you had good sleep during the night. The pain in the shoulder and back shows that your muscles become too tired especially in the area of the body where you get maximum body weight (ie. Back) and the shoulder which moves excessively during the day for any activity which we do with our hand. If the pain subsides after the day starts ie. Once your metabolic activity starts in the body then you become alright, so you can take bath in good warm water which would help you to break the tiredness. And also you can check with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting a general physician.

All autoimmune disease can co-exist. It's not uncommon to find UC and RA together, as both are autoimmune diseases. If you have flare-ups (of colitis or arthritis ?) you should consult your rheumatologist or gastroenterologist accordingly. There are many other drugs to help you. I don't think weight gain has anything to with Saaz, though the everybody's body is different. More often than not, your better colitis control might have led you to gain weight, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Not sure if you're getting steroids too intermittently. Best wishes.
