Dear lybrate-user, with bp medicines also fluctuation of bp is common. If your average bp is in normal range, then you should not worry too much. Carry on with your bp medicines and be consistent with diet and exercise regimen. Thats it.

If your able to walk do 30 mins of brisk walking daily. Inculcalate yoga in your daily exercises. Stop smoking, chewing tobbaco, alcohal cosumption if any. Modify your diet eat lots of salads and green vegies. Cut on mutton you can have fish. Have sprouts. Cut on oil and spices. Monitor your bp regularly.

1.For your age pain chest could be due to anxiety, stress, Physical and mental strain 2. Avoid stress and strain 3.Do regular exercise, Yoga, Meditation, deep breathing exercise like pranayama etc. It will calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 4.Take paracetamol 500mg one tablet sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily, 5. Drink plenty of water and take rest .6.if you have recurrent attack of chest pain take ECG and consult cardiologist 7.Consult me for further advice

Hi. Right sided pain can be a musculo skeletal pain. Gets relieved with pain killer. But if you face it frequently please get it checked.

I feel in and around my heart something like wound. When stretch hands and driving bike and other activities. 20 days before I had burning sensation around heart with high heart beat. Should I go for Troponin test. I go for morning walk 2 k. M and also ride bike 70 k. M per day.

Tropnin test is positive only when there's damage to heart muscle. You should get treated for acidity by eating right food with less spices and fats. Get checked for heart by getting a ecg and halter tests plus blood pressure and blood tests done for sugar and lipids and get back here with reports. You will get more guidance from any of us here on the forum. It will be worth doing deworming now if not done during last 6 months. Take 3 tabs of nemocid together and 200 mg metrogyl twice a day after food for 3 days. Eat light and do moderate exercises.

reduced LDL is a good sign ,so is increased HDL. only controlling cholesterol is not responsible for prevention of heart attacks. do take care of other factors like stress , smoking.

Managing Hypertension With Healthy Habits

Here are some changes that can offer huge improvements in your high blood pressure levels:

Change your diet.

Dear lybrateuser, -to lower your blood pressure firstly you have to develop a healthy lifestyle & then go for medicines as once started you may have to take medicines lifelong -in diet avoid fried, processed & junk foods, have more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy ones, have low fat dairy products, have more of wholegrains like whole wheat bread/chapatti, brown rice, corn, oats, have beans, sprouts, legumes, pulses, flax seeds -restrict tea, coffee (1-2cups/day), salt, sugar -use olive oil, canola oil or safflower oil for cooking, consumption should not be more than 1 teaspoonful/day -avoid pickles, papad, fried snacks as they contain lot of salt & saturated fats -exercise regularly, walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, play outdoor games for 30-40 min, also do yoga, meditation 5-10 min daily -sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night, keep sleep & ake up time fixed -at work also get up every half to one hour walk around & come back -distress by listening to music, reading, follow a hobby -check bp on rising in morning (basal bp) regularly, also after activity.
