Hi I am 28 year old male. I am software engineer. I think I am in depression because of my wife behavior. Please help me to save my life…We have been married more than 5 years now. My wife is good, however she is short tempered. Sometime she does’t even hesitate to scream at me or at my parents or at her parents or at our kid even in a party or a public place. I and her parents tried a lot to talk to her but all gone waste. Most of the time, the main reason of her screaming is any external intervention. For example she has her own way to do everything however if you try to show her a better way then she gets angry and it take her almost 2-3 days to behave normal. I really need a practical advice to handle this situation. Some time I am feeling of sadness, lack of concentration, slowness in activity and thought, or thoughts of suicide without any reason.

Let us first deal with problems of your wife. It seems she has anger management problems. It's natural to disagree or get annoyed at somebody's opinion if it gets against our own, but we need to learn to have a balanced response, no matter where we are, alone or in a party. Such uncontrolled anger outbursts can be due to personality problems, hormonal disturbances, mood disorders etc which need treatment with some medications and counseling. She would definitely be much better with treatment. As regards you, if you are bothered by your wife's behaviour for 5 years and feel sad and harming your own self, it means that you have given up on her. Also it seems that your mind is ina helpless situation and you find life worthless. You also need counselling for the same and some medicines to calm your state of mind.

It will help you to meet with a counselor just to air your grievances in life and to deal with the frustration of pressure building up in your life. But if you look at your situation hard, you will notice that in a few years both of you and your girlfriend will have completed your studies and may well be on your way to some good incomes. So the focus is to be positive and do well in your academics. To improve concentration you may work on the following suggestions: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem-solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning, at least, five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position, you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There is some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food. You may also include these noted foods that are good for your brain health: Brain-Friendly Foods MIND stands for Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay. But the MIND approach “specifically includes foods and nutrients that medical literature and data show to be good for the brain, such as berries,” says Martha Clare Morris, ScD, director of nutrition and nutritional epidemiology at Rush University Medical Center. You eat things from these 10 food groups: •Green leafy vegetables (like spinach and salad greens): At least six servings a week •Other vegetables: At least one a day •Nuts: Five servings a week •Berries: Two or more servings a week •Beans: At least three servings a week •Whole grains: Three or more servings a day •Fish: Once a week •Poultry (like chicken or turkey): Two times a week •Olive oil: Use it as your main cooking oil. •Wine: One glass a day You avoid: •Red meat: Less than four servings a week •Butter and margarine: Less than a tablespoon daily •Cheese: Less than one serving a week •Pastries and sweets: Less than five servings a week •Fried or fast food: Less than one serving a week.

Please do complete hemogram if there is any gum related problem that needs to be treated if there is any allergy to any food/cosmetic products that needs to be identified and completely avoided. Take calcarea sulph 6x - twice daily.

I am 19. My problem is I feel hungry all the time even when I was eaten. Means if I eat now then after half n hour I feel hungry. You maybe most probably suffering from gastritis or gastro esophageal reflux disease. You have to avoid spicy and fried foods. Also avoid junk food and fast food. If your problems are worse, you need to take an ecg and take medications.

Yes, you can eat this but checked the ingredients that there is no wheat products or milk. Arrow root is gluten free.

Eat a high-fiber diet. Get insoluble and soluble fiber. Limit foods that are high in fat. Choose lean meats. Incorporate probiotics into your diet. Eat on schedule. Stay hydrated.

I have pimples and back marks on my face can you help to get rid of them. I am 26 years old.

Most common skin disease due to wrong feeding habit such as irregular hours of eating, improper food, excess of starches sugar food n bakery products. Excess of fatty foods, chronic constipation and menstruation disorder in female are some of common cause in this also its found in cases of excessive use of tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco and hence ointment does not serve your any purpose. So find out where you have to correct for better result? fresh juicy fruits, such as apple, pears, grapes, pineapple, lemon, or plan water either hot or cold should be drink. Vitamin a, e, nutrition and zinc to be consider part of treatment. Treatment: 1. A teaspoonful of coriander juice mixed with pinch of turmeric powder is effective home remedy for pimples / acne. Mixture should be applied to the face at night after thoroughly wash every day. 2. If you have constipation or menstruation in case of female, then remove a same, or go for treatment 3. Cap. Neem guard - 1 daily in morning after breakfast 4. Cap garlic pearls - 1 daily after breakfast 5. Steam on face buy using neem patti / leaves thrice in a week 6. Which type of food is good for health in winter season and can we eat more oily food in winter season.

Hye, Thanks for the query.  Winter is the time when your immunity is low. The body's metabolism is also low as the body wants to conserve energy. It's that one time when you feel lazy to hit the gym and want to reach out for comfort foods like pastries or salty foods. Try to avoid refined flours and go for whole grains like wheat, bajra, nahi.  Avoid simple sugars in excess. Include at least 3 to 5 servings of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Include a protein source in each meals like dal,  pulses, dairy, nuts etc. Drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water per day. Include healthy fats like ghee, nuts, dairy in your diet. You need not necessarily have oily foods regularly especially if it's outside junk food. Include hot soups, kheer,  kanjis, dal pani etc in your diet.  Exercise at least 3 times a week.

Take treatment to maintain your period normal and for treatment you need to tell your last date of period exactly. If absence is more than a month then only medicine will work.

Hi I'm 18 year old guy and my problem is I have White Stretch Marks on my body (biceps, back, shoulders). Early I was in the Gym for Strength Training. Cocoa butter is famous for its anti-wrinkling and anti-aging properties. It helps in enhancing the blood circulation, which reduces stretch marks. Massage the affected area with cocoa butter at least two times a day. Repeat the process for two months and notice the reduced scars. Else, mix half cup of cocoa butter with one tablespoon of wheat germ oil, one teaspoon of tea kernel oil, two teaspoons of grated beeswax, and vitamin E oil. Heat the mix until the beeswax melts. Apply it on the stretch marks twice or thrice a day. - do not scratch or squeeze the lesions - do not apply creams or oils on face - do not apply hair oils or wash oil within 1 hour of application - take plenty of fluids - wash your face 2-3 times daily especially when it's oily - certain foods can increase acne such as chocolates, oily food etc, avoid these if they increase acne - take plenty of fluids and fruits - dandruff can also increase acne, so use anti-dandruff shampoo if you have acne. - also, for the marks, try to avoid sunexposure as far as possible (use broadspectrum gel based sunscreen, cover the face while outside during sunlight hours)
