Does chronic dysentery means colitis and chronic dysentery can further give rise to ibd.

Does chronic dysentery means colitis and chronic dysentery can further give rise to ibd.
Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking clarification. Well, dysentery is, in fact, an inflammation of the large intestine (or colon) caused by either a bacterial or protozoan infection. On the other hand, ulcerative colitis is essentially an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that presents with chronic or prolonged inflammation of the innermost lining of the colon or rectum. The exact cause of IBD though largely unknown, immune malfunction could possibly lead to IBD. As far as I understand, chronic dysentery may be implicated in the etiology and pathogenesis of IBD, but the exact relationship is not clear still. Hope this clarifies. Take care. Sincerely,

Dear , it is a protein which should not be thrown out in urine. However in absence of infection and bleeding in urine it usually suggests some sort of kidney damage which may be because of variety of diseases and one most common culprit being diabetes.

Hello doctor,
My penis size when flaccid is 3 inches I want to increase this size naturally. Please give me solution....
There is no natural or unnatural way to increase your penis size after you have achieved adulthood. The length of your penis is directly connected to the genes you acquired from your parents.

How to increase the size of my penis? Is there any medication for that and if it has then does it have any side effects?
Increasing penis length, girth and enhancing overall appearance is quite possible. This is because the male organ consists of muscles and no bones. There are many homoepathic medicine available without side effects. For this, you should do exercises advised and homoepathic medicines to nourish the entire structure. You can consult me by clicking on consult option for homoeopathic treatment or you can buy package of penis enlargement offered by me which includes medicine and consultation..

Tonsillitis - Easy Home Remedies to Help You Treat it

DNB (ENT), Diploma - Diploma - DLO - Rhino-Laryngology, MBBS

Tonsillitis - Easy Home Remedies to Help You Treat it

Tonsillitis is a condition, which is characterized by infection of the tonsils in your throat. The tonsils are a pair of lymph nodes that are situated in the throat; its primary function is to protect the body from various infections. Although the disorder can occur at any age, it is majorly common among children. A large number of bacteria or viruses can cause this disorder, but the most serious symptoms occur when it is caused by the streptococcal bacteria.

Causes

The first defense mechanism of the body is made up of the tonsils. They synthesize white blood cells which fight against infections. Although tonsils combat these infections, at times, they can fall prey to the same, thus resulting in tonsillitis. Tonsillitis can be caused by both virus and bacteria; however, it is mostly caused by the former. Kids and school going children are very vulnerable to this disorder as they can come in contact with harmful viruses and bacteria very easily.

Symptoms

You will experience symptoms such as a sore throat, bad breath and have difficulty in speaking. Swelling of the tonsils will also make swallowing of food a difficult affair. Other symptoms of tonsillitis are stomach cramps, fever and headaches. The neck and the jaw may also feel tender due to the swollen lymph nodes.

Treatment

If the symptoms are mild, then it usually does not require any specific treatment. For severe symptoms, antibiotics are prescribed to combat the bacteria that caused the infection in the first place. Chronic cases of this disorder warrant a surgery known as tonsillectomy. This is a surgical procedure to remove the tonsils. In case of dehydration, intravenous fluids are administered.

In addition to these treatment methods, there are certain home remedies that you can follow. The tips you can follow are:

  1. Keep yourself well hydrated
  2. Use a humidifier
  3. Gargle with lukewarm water mixed with salt, regularly

I am a woman in late 40s and have migraine. To get some relief from the headache usually I take saridon for headache but is there any medicine better than that for faster relief? And I read somewhere that having too much meds can harm the liver so should I avoid taking headache pills?

I am a woman in late 40s and have migraine. To get some relief from the headache usually I take saridon for headache ...
Hi, migraine is a painful phenomenon if it is what you have mentioned, people usually consider frequent headaches also as migraine which is not right always unless diagnosed by a doctor. Pain of migraine needs medicine but the medicine you have mentioned will not be of much help in migraine. Patient suffering from migraine are on a continuous medication. The most common symptoms of migraine are one sided headache bursting type sensation gradually spreading to entire head or back of neck at times, with feeling of vomiting and vomiting episodes in bouts, light and noise are unbearable, if such symptoms are there in your case then probably it could be migraine. Another disorder is cervical spondylosis giving such picture again to be diagnosed by a doctor. And one of the most common situation associated with migraine in case of females is stress, tension, suppressed anger, low spirits, depression, weeping without cause, increased senstivity etc. You need a good doctor to tackle these things. Another situation with females of your age is approaching menopause. So I have mentioned all the likely conditions, find a good homoeopathic doctor around for effective treatment. Have light meals, small meals at short intervals, do not overeat, avoid usage of extremly sour, cold, sweet things they could be a trigger, avoid strong smells and perfumes or stinking places again that could also be a trigger. Balanced diet and regular exercise will help you. Feel free to ask any questions.
