Heel Pain

BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist, Delhi
Heel Pain

patients with heel pain are associated with tight calf structures, which in turn is associated with tight hamstrings. Both calf and hamstrings are two joint muscles and any spasm of these muscles compress the underneath nerves and blood vessels. These tight structures need proper stretching to release there spasm accompanied by some hot formentation.
Do regular walk to alleviate the spasm on your end. Still if pain persist, get it properly examined to identify the root cause of the problem and thus wholesome cure.

Can I drink cold water or soft drinks during my Bell's Palsy disease where still I got my left face paralised and also I could not close my left eye entirely. And also can I be in an ac room?

BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist, Delhi
Hi no you should not do any of these. Not drink cold water, or soft drink, nor sit in an ac room. This is because the nerve is already irritated. You need to start with physiotherapy treatment as early as possible as first 21 days following attack, are the most crucial for complete recovery of nerve.

Heel pain may b plantarfasciitis or calcanean spur or postural. In ny case due to your thyroid being positive thr may b increase in weight which add pressure on your already painful heel. Take sm physiotherapy sessions to relieve the acute pain and try to reduce weight to avoid future recurrence.
