These are the causes of white hair: • Stress • Due to medicines • Due to malnutrition • Use of chemical products • Due to pollution For prevention from whitening of hairs follow these instructions : • Do not take stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours .Do meditation or long breathing pranayams for 10 minutes daily to destress yourself . • You can apply amla powder , Make the paste of amla powder with water and apply it for 15 minutes once in week in afternoon and rinse it . • Avoid use of excess hair products such as hair colours and try to use mild shampoo . • Add protein containing items in your foods such as take a bowl of cereal daily ,and a glass of milk also .You can eat cheese or soya protein . • Eat healthy fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. • you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily .you can massage daily with oil it increase blood circulation and prevent hair from greying . • Avoid the use of products such as hair colours or excessive shampoo . •In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo. • Practice SARVANGASAN and BHRAMARI PRANAYAM daily for atleast 3-4 months.

Hello lybrate-user- weight gain depends not only on diet but also on sound sleep. Try these ayurvedic tips and medicine- a) sleep at least 8-10 hrs a day. B) eat food according to your digestion over eating sometimes causes indigestion which in turn causes weight loss. C) increase dairy products and non-veg diet in your meals. D) use shatavari kalpa 1 tsp twice daily, ashwagandha pak 1 tsp twice. Madhu malini vasanta 1 tab twice a day. You will see improvements within few weeks.

Many treatment options are available for Acne scars and pigmentation which the pimples leave behind after healing. Some creams are available but they are not very effective. Chemical peels can help you reduce the scars and pigmentation but the best treatment is carbon dioxide laser. Carbon dioxide laser resurfascing can improve the scars by about 60 to 80 percent in about 6 sittings. You can visit me for treatment.

After taking food the mouth gets filled with flum in five or ten minutes and I am keep on spitting, due to this I can not eat properly and I am an underweight could not increase my weight can you suggest the reasons for it? **Hi doctor why does thing happen? I am a 25 year female suffering from acute insomnia. I was having this problem from last 8-9 years but only for short intervals (one time, it got extended upto 8 months). My life is pretty normal and I am not having any particular problem due to which I am unable to sleep. Now, it has started again last month causing me facing great difficulty at my work place. The fear of not sleeping makes me an insomniac. I try hard to sleep but unable to sleep at night. What should I do?

Hello, I am giving you some tips for sound sleep and early awaking in morning follow advises given below: 1. Strict to sleep time schedule 2. Do regular physical activity 3. Regular meditation/ yoga, i can give you address of rajyoga meditation center near your house (this is free of cost) One thing i want to tell you that if you can relax your mind by Rajyoga meditation than you can reduce your sleep upto 5-6 hour and you will feel fresh and active 4. Avoid tea coffee after 7 pm 5. You can wash your face and feet at bedtime 6. Avoid daytime sleep 7. You can use alarm and gradually reduce your waking time by 15 minutes Consult me/ Physician if symptom persist

As 60% of our body is made of water, it acts as a carrier of essential nutrients inside our body. Loosing as little as 5% of body's weight as water can cause headache, fatigue and lower your muscle strength. To stay healthy, an adult should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. They do not provide energy directly but work behind the scenes to break down food into energy. 5. Fiber: It helps retain water and in making our stools softer to avoid constipation. Intake should be 25 to 35 grams a day. 6. Calories: A measure of how much energy food or drink contains. On an average, a man needs around 2,000 calories a day and a woman 1700 calories a day to maintain his weight and good health. Number varies by person depending upon weight, age and how active the lifestyle is. 7. Guideline: Each day have 3 main meals, 2 snacks, 5 pieces of fruit and at least 1 glass of milk.

Was she a virgin when you did the act, if yes then in most cases periods get delayed due to sudden change in life from sexually inactive to active, so we suggest you may wait for a few more days as if you say that you didn't perform any intercourse, your periods will come eventually with out any Medications.

Sir glucose is gud for typhoid patient or not and sir please suggest to prevent from typhoid.

Hi, Glucose can be given to a typhoid patient if the patient is not diabetic. Regarding prevention, be careful while eating outside food. Do not consume uncooked or raw food like vegetable salads, chatnis, buttermilk, lassi, raita, cut fruits, etc. Drink only boiled and cooled water or mineral water. Flush the toilets before using it. One can even secure himself by taking typhoid vaccine which protects your body for 2 years.

Small child in early ages have kafadhikya in body if you give them kafvardhak food like fruits idli dosa vada biscuits maidayukta buiscuits paneer etc then they have regular infections like cough cold fever etc changes in eating habit is must to prevent them from recurrent infections give luke warm water or boiled water for drinking purpose avoid fermented food bakery products junk food etc consult privetly for more details.

My front teeth broke when I was 16 year old. It's colour changed to yellow after 2 -3 years then my dentist done root canal treatment and crown placement. But after 1 year my crown displaced or however gap between gum and crown occurred which looks not descent because I am a young lady and its my front teeth. Then my dentist changed my crown. This time while changing my crown my original teeth broke and somehow doctor manage it to cover with crown. But now again gap between crown and gum is occurred. What should I do. Please help, it is my third time when I am replacing my crown. And my original teeth structure beneath tooth is broken. What should I do. I don't want to look ugly at any cost.

Please note the following in respect to your queries: for pimples -- apply some apple cider vinegar: directions for use: wash your face with water and pat dry. Using a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water, dip a cotton ball into vinegar and apply it directly to the blemish. Leave on for at least 10 minutes, or overnight. Reapply several times a day, washing face thoroughly after each time. Make sure to use a moisturizer afterwards as well if you feel like your skin is getting dry.

(take nutritious, balanced diet including fruits, green vegetables, good quality proteins) stomach problems are mostly due to irregular/ unhygienic food habits. Change your food habits, eat your meals at regular intervals, avoid spicy, oily / fatty food, maida containing food items, fruit juices/ sugary drinks/excessive tea/coffee/alcohol. Increase intake high fibre diet. Take light dinner. Drink plenty of water, go for walk/do light exercise. If problem persist, consult gastroenterologist /physician, simple sonography or baseline blood investigation will diagnose your problem. Take care.

I will suggest you to get an ultrasound scrotum done to rule out any pathology and for pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and do ice fomentation every six hourly.
