Keep hair clean. Make sure that your scalp and hair are always clean. It will help your hair grow faster. Dirt clogs the hair follicles, which makes it more difficult for hair to grow. However, do not shampoo every day, as men’s hair get easily damaged, and excessive shampooing can dehydrate hair and cause breakage. Shampoo twice a week while cleanse hair with conditioner daily.

I am losing hair quickly and have tried all shampoos but no effect yet. I am not sure what else can I do. Can you please help me with this?

Regular massaging the scalp for a few minutes every day with lukewarm oil will lead to stimulation of blood flow to the scalp. Coconut oil helps in controlling hail fall. Other recommended oils are: Jojoba oil, almond oil, mustard oil, lavender oil. Jojoba oil is especially good because it replaces the sebum in the scalp. It also helps to control dandruff.

All About Angular Cheilitis

All About Angular Cheilitis

One of the most repulsive and problematic skin disorders, angular cheilitis is known to cause a lot of irritation. Cheilitis is usually a condition that refers to the inflammation of the lip on account of certain allergies and infections. When it takes place on the edges of the mouth, it is termed as angular cheilitis. It is similar to an extreme chapping of the lips, only more painful and unsightly. Some of the cheilitis start as cold sores and lead to the cracking or splitting of the skin. On certain severe conditions, the cheilitis may also end up bleeding. While cheilitis is not a contagious disease, it often spreads to the other parts of the body, magnifying the discomfort. Cheilitis vary from minor to chronic proportions. The usual treatments for angular cheilitis entail applying lip balm and chap-sticks. For acute conditions, one may seek medical advice.

Angular Cheilitis may take place in any unsuspecting individual. One of the primary causes of this condition is germ intrusion. Contact with the dribble of saliva triggers this condition. While among other causes, contamination by bacteria, yeasts and viruses are prominent factors. The commissures often also indicate a weak immunity system especially iron deficiency. It is known to be more frequently occurring in people with sensitive skin. Certain genetic predispositions like a history of eczema and Down syndrome may act as catalysts.

For minor cheilitis, the most obvious complaint could be cited as difficulty in opening one's mouth. However, for more serious conditions, onset of blisters, rashes and fissures are fairly common. Dermatologists usually recommend nutritional supplements as palliative care for angular cheilitis. Over and above that, for immediate relief, one can try keeping the commissure covered in a thick layer of ointment or lip balm. Antiseptic creams and antifungal medicines are also prescribed to counter the effects of angular cheilitis. On certain occasions, one may also resort to filler injections to cover up the commissures.

Tomatoes are an excellent solution for getting rid of dark circle, as it naturally helps to decrease the dark circles and also makes the skin soft and supple. All you need to do is mix one teaspoon of tomato juice with a teaspoon of lemon juice and apply it under your eyes. Grate some raw potato and extract the juice of the same. Now take a cotton ball and soak it in the potato juice. Close your eyes and place these cotton balls on your eyes. Make sure they cover the entire area of the dark circles under your eyes as well as the eyelids. Leave it on for 10 minutes and wash off with cold water. Cold tea bags: Another simple technique to get rid of the dark circles is using cold tea bags. Soak a tea bag preferably a chamomile or green tea bags in water. Chill it by placing it in the refrigerator for a while. Now, place them over your eyes. Use this remedy on a regular basis to see considerable difference. Cold milk: Regular use of cold milk will also decrease the dark circles and also soothes your eyes and skin. Take a cotton ball and place it in a bowl of cold milk or iced water for a while. Now apply the cotton ball making sure that it covers the entire eye with the affected area. Keep it for a while. Wash it regular water. Orange juice: Another effective home remedy to remove dark circles is orange juice. Mix some orange juice with a few drops of glycerin and apply this mixture over the dark circles. Not only will it diminish the dark circles it will also give a natural glow to your eyes. One of the main reasons that's seen for the recurrence of dark circles under eyes is because of stress, depression and a hectic lifestyle. No amount of home remedies will work if your mind isn't cool and calm. Yoga and meditation if practiced regularly will not only decrease your dark circles will also balance the body clock whilst calming your mind, body and soul.

I am 35 years old male and my wife is 30 years old both problem 5 months ago skin and back pain problem.
Several lifestyle changes may be required. Most back pain gets better with a few weeks of home treatment and careful attention. Over-the-counter pain relievers as prescribed by me may be all that you need to improve your pain. A short period of bed rest is ok, but more than a couple of days actually does more harm than good. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.
