Nightfall or wet dreams is a very common occurrence among men, especially among adolescents. 1. Should start jogging or brisk walking for at least 30 minutes every day. 2. Should avoid consumption of any liquid for at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 3. Should go for urination just before going to bed. 4. Should avoid watching porn or erotic chats etc. 5. Start listening to soothing music which gives peace of mind and gives soothing effects like the meditation gives. 6. Should start reading good books at the time to keep the brain relaxed for a sound sleep. 7. If night fall happens then one should not worry about this, because if people keep on thinking about nightfall or have the fear of night fall at the time of sleeping then you get more chances to have the night fall again. 8. Should avoid constipation because an upset digestive system also sometimes causes nightfall. 9. If the person is having the habit of taking milk at night then they should take milk in the evening instead of at night. 10. Start doing masturbation once in a while may help control nightfall. 11. Exercising regularly and avoiding spicy foods can lessen the frequency of nightfall.

Keeping Diabetes a Secret

Most people with diabetes – myself included – have things about their diabetes that they prefer to keep to themselves. But as a diabetes psychologist, one of the biggest challenges that I have in my practice is when I have a patient who prefers to keep their diabetes, and everything that it involves, a secret from people in their life. I’m not talking about details like their last A1c or what their blood sugar was the last time that they checked, but everything. When someone tells me that they prefer to hide diabetes from other people, it usually tells me that they aren’t taking care of themselves.

I don’t necessarily think that choosing to be secretive about having diabetes is necessarily a problem in and of itself. Everyone has the right to share, or not, anything about their health care, including what medical conditions they face. However I am a firm believer that behavior (which also includes the ‘act’ of not doing something) is functional. So when someone wants to be secretive about having diabetes, my question is ‘what function does this need for secrecy serve?’ Generally, it is one of 3 things:

Denial: A big reason that people with diabetes don’t tell others about their diabetes is because they are having trouble accepting that they have diabetes. By keeping it a secret, it helps them keep up the belief that there’s nothing wrong. Talking about having diabetes to others makes having diabetes seem more real. Not telling others about their diabetes lets them hold out hope that it will just go away (Spoiler alert: It won’t!)

Embarrassment: It’s really common for people to be embarrassed about having diabetes. This embarrassment usually comes from one of two places. First people may be embarrassed that they are not ‘healthy’ and feel like there is something wrong with them. Second, some people are embarrassed by the things they have to do to manage diabetes, like wear a pump, give themselves a shot, or check their blood sugar. They feel like diabetes makes them different and may have some affect on their relationships. To help them feel less embarrassed, some people keep diabetes a secret.

Burn-out: People tend to talk to their friends and family members about things they are excited about and that are important to them. If someone is keeping their diabetes a secret, it may be a sign that they are burned out and that diabetes isn’t a priority to them at that time. This is a normal feeling. What people forget sometimes is that keeping diabetes a secret from others can make it a lot harder to get support and encouragement.

While some people find that keeping diabetes a secret may work for a time, but it also usually causes other problems. First, keeping a part of you life hidden from those around you takes a lot of work and can be exhausting. Also, keeping diabetes a secret usually means people aren’t able to manage their diabetes very well, making them feel bad physically.

Before choosing to keep diabetes a secret from others remember to ask yourself what function does keeping it a secret serve. Your answer may surprise you!

Hello lybrate user, there can be many reasons to it. E. G. You may be spending a lot of time in travelling to office changing modes of transportation e. G bus, rickshaw, taxi and so on. Secondly it may also be due to mental exertion which people experience in office due to work and spend time overthinking. When you overthink your body uses up glucose and this drains the body of the energy. You may replace it temporarily with some sweets and fast food, but still your mind has got into the habit of overthinking and that will not stop. Hence stop overthinking. Relax. Try not to run your imagination. This will help in long run. Or else consult any psychologist for further help.

Hi, you need to take psychotherapy/counseling to recognize your fears. They may be merely thoughts but provoking anxiety in you. You need to learn to manage that. Engage in some exercise daily for 30 minutes and practice mindfulness exercise. Mindful Breathing The primary goal of mindful breathing is simply a calm, nonjudging awareness, allowing thoughts and feelings to come and go without getting caught up in them. Sit comfortably, with your eyes closed and your spine reasonably straight. Bring your attention to your breathing. Imagine that you have a balloon in your tummy. Every time you breathe in, the balloon inflates. Each time you breathe out, the balloon deflates. Notice the sensations in your abdomen as the balloon inflates and deflates. Your abdomen rising with the in-breath, and falling with the out-breath. Thoughts will come into your mind, and that’s okay, because that’s just what the human mind does. Simply notice those thoughts, then bring your attention back to your breathing. Likewise, you can notice sounds, physical feelings, and emotions, and again, just bring your attention back to your breathing. You don’t have to follow those thoughts or feelings, don’t judge yourself for having them, or analyse them in any way. It’s okay for the thoughts to be there. Just notice those thoughts, and let them drift on by, bringing your attention back to your breathing. Whenever you notice that your attention has drifted off and is becoming caught up in thoughts or feelings, simply note that the attention has drifted, and then gently bring the attention back to your breathing. It's okay and natural for thoughts to enter into your awareness, and for your attention to follow them. No matter how many times this happens, just keep bringing your attention back to your breathing. Get back to me for proper therapy. All the best.

Dear lybrate user, the most important thing is to check about pain occurs in which part of stomach. If its in upper part of abdomen & occurs after meals (as you said), then most likely its ac. Gastritis. Diet changes ll be helpful then. Avoid hot, spicy, too sour or too oily food. No lying down after meals. A glass of cold milk at night will be really helpful. If its in the lower part of abdomen & associated with burning urine, urinary tract is a possibility. Further details will need to be checked then. Hope it helps. Contact for any further query.

Ejaculation problems are complex and can be caused by a number of things, including: ? stress ? relationship problems ? anxiety ? such as a man being anxious that he will lose his erection (erectile dysfunction), causing him to ?rush? the intercourse ? previous traumatic sexual experiences ? depression ? some medical conditions or medicines ? for example, diabetes can cause delayed ejaculation Some researchers think certain men are more prone to premature ejaculation because of their biological make-up, such as having an unusually sensitive penis. Retrograde ejaculation is caused by damage to nerves or muscles that surround the neck of the bladder (the point where the urethra connects to the bladder). This damage can often occur as a complication of prostate or bladder surgery.
