Tens therapy and ultrasonic therapy for 15 days and di strength exercise in gradually process like quadriceps. Problem is arthritis so do gradually. And avoid long standing cross legs and squatting.

Hi back pain usually occurs due to prolonged sitting in a bad posture hence the pressure on the back increases and you get back pain as your muscle don't support any undue pressure so for this now you can start with a hot packs for ten minutes twice a day and also start strengthening your core muscles.

Start with physiotherapy sessions and learn exercise for spine. Don't sit on floors. Don't lift heavy things. Take calcium and methylcobalamine supplement with omega3 for three months minimum. Use lumber spine belt also.

Hello- rheumatic artheritis have a permanent cure only in ayurveda. Some ayurvedic medicines along with dietary changes can help. 1. Try not to eat old (basi) food. 2. Try not to sleep in day time. 3. Avoid excess curd and spices intake. 4. Start sinhanad guggulu 2 tab twice daily suvarna mahayoga 1 tab twice daily.

Hello, Losing menopausal weight can be challenging at times and it needs lot of patience. The best thing you can do his first try and set your hormones right. Slurge in hormonal levels post pregnancy can make the weight loss sluggish. A good healthy diet with higher oestrogenic content will help you massively. Make sure you seek an advise from a diet expert and go in for customised program. Vegetarian diets are good for digestibility and can be calorie restrictive. Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold). Ankle stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises hamstring stretching calf muscles stretching contrast bath.

i am suffering from Achilles Heel for last 3 years tried everything. i am sports person play state level badminton. Suggest remedy do all stretches consulted sports dr, ortho everybody but it does not get cured. I continue playing practice with it. I had rested for 3 months but nothing improved. Goes with painkillers

you should just try one massage therapy for releasing your calf muscle. It must be becouse of calf musce tightness also.everybody got confuse sometime you feel pain achilles tendon and treat that part only..I saw lots cases like you .just realse calf muscle achilles pain gone..so just try for that..and let me answer after that

I'M an footballer and I have been receiving pain in my knee when I shoot and even when I put pressure on it. I don't know if I have an runner's knee or acl or something like that. I have tried various methods but none of them seem to work, I tried putting ice on it but it only reduces the swelling ,it doesn't decreases the pain that appears when I shoot. Can anyone suggest the fastest way to recover my knee.

To rule out the underlying pathology why pain and sweeping is persistent you need to get a mri done. Further treatment will only depend upon what the reason for it. Till then continue with ice pack analgesic and try to avoid strain on it. Hope this helps you. For further assistance can contact.

Hello lybrate-user, I can not guide your accurately with so much information. My general advise to you will be: 1. Stop doing the activity which triggers the pain 2. Icing will help, 10 mins/3-4 times/day 3. No sustained neck postures Do write in with more details for further consult.

do situps regularly. move your leg up and down with some weight at ankle by sitting on a high chair 50 times daily. surely you may get relief

If you age is only 22 years old then the sound of joint movement is completely normal. It is mostly either due to escaping gases or when the tendon’s position changes and moves slightly out of place. You may hear a snapping sound as the tendon returns to its original position.

I am 70 years old male. Recently I developed initial stage of oa in left knee and was advised colla cee gs. Dose was 28gms per day. Took for 3/months. My pain reduced by 80%. Doctor said to give gap of 3 months. My question is if this medicine is managing pain or provide lubricant in knee joints? how long it should be take.

Hello, this is Dr. Mathur from new delhi. Welcome to lybrate. Collacee gs basically contains collagen granules and glucosamine which terms to repair the lost cartilage. So it is not a painkiller but tends to increase the lubrication of the joint in a way.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. -a physiotherapist can tell you when to begin stretching and strengthening exercises and how to do them. First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.
