Can anyone suggest about Nidan ayurvedic slimming kit. Has anyone benefited from this? As they give money back guarantee ,if the product doesn't work.

There is no medicine or kit that can make you slim. Kindly give up this search or research into magic slimming medicines. I have seen many patients who keep trying out such stuff and keep wasting thousands of rupees and millions of hopes. The best and the only way to reduce weight is to reduce eating junk. Most of the overweight persons are addicted to Sugary Stuff/Oily Stuff/Salt or all of the above. You have to break out from these addictions. Respect your body and respect nature. Make your life more active. Look at our Olympic medalists and see the kind of effort they put in to stay fit and healthy. Do you think anyone can achieve that kind of fitness by sitting at home and eating some pills? Take charge of your health and your wellbeing. No one else can do it for you. You are in the middle age when body starts aging and giving trouble. This is the time for you to change your lifestyle and get healthy so that you can be fit for the next 60 years at least. Stay fit, stay healthy, stay happy.

Sir For last few months I am having a tremendous pain on my knee joints so kindly suggest for the same.

Homeopath, Raebareli
Applying cold compresses to the painful knee is one of the best and easiest ways to reduce pain and swelling. The cold will constrict the blood vessels, reducing blood flow to the affected area and thus reducing swelling. It will also give you relief from the pain. 1. Wrap a handful of ice cubes in a thin towel. 2. Apply the compress to the affected knee area for 10 to 20 minutes. 3. Do this two or three time daily until your pain is gone. A bag of frozen peas also works well as a cold compress. You can opt for alternating hot and cold compresses as well for chronic pains.

I met with an accident 6 months ago in which I had severe knee injury. Doctors confirmed that there is no fracture or ligament tear, but they suspect a meniscus tear in the right knee. I have been going through medication including vitamin supplements like depura 60k, for the past six months. Is it safe and advisable to start doing exercises to strengthen my knee. Will this help to cure my knee? And by exercises I mean jogging, sit-ups, lunges etc. I would like to have some advice!

I am a 25 year old male. 170cms and 85kg. About 2 weeks ago i started experiencing a lower back pain when i woke up from sleep in the morning. It was so intense that i could not even bend over to wear bottom wears. I applied some pain balm and took ibuprofen for about 3-4 days and the pain felt like it has come down to the right hip joint and became less intense day by day. But i am still experiencing a kind of radiating pain from the back of the right buttocks till the calf. I am not feeling it when i am sitting or lying down but i feel it when bending over with knees straight and also when i stand for more than 5-10 minutes. Is this a serious condition? What am i supposed to do?

Heel pain as in your situation is most likely due to plantar fascitis. Injections given for it give relief for some time. The treatment mostly is conservative and lifestyle modifications to achieve maximum functionality with minimum pain. Follow these lifestyle changes religiously to get benefit. 1. Reduce body weight as obesity will aggravate the stress on heel. 2. Avoid exercises like running / walking on hard surfaces. Stop such activities when you start developing pain. 3. Roll your feet on bottle of cold water for 20 mins 4 times a day or can apply ice pack. 4. Use shoes with silicone sole inserts. 5. Do calf muscle and heel stretches daily. 6. Avoid prolonged standing or sitting. 7. Use night splint to keep foot flexed at night. Stop using it once pain is relieved. 8. Use analgesics like Ibuprofen for decreasing pain and inflammation. With proper lifestyle changes as above 90 % patients have relief and functionality. Only 10% patients would require surgical intervention like plantar fascia release or gastrocnemius recession.

Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water.
