Hello, I am 34 years old working woman, I have thyroid n taking thyronorm 100 mg in morning. My current test report of tsh level is 21.75. We need to control sugar levels with medication exercise and following a diabetic diet and for constipation eat food with high fibre content in your diet and For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and do physiotherapy treatment

Gud quation lybrate-user ji. See gym can have some adverse effect if you do not follow it properly. Wht I think you do not need to walk daily. 20 mins walk ulternate day at a speed of 5 to 6 km/ hr wil not harm your knees. And help your heart. You wil not get diabetes or bp. Bt see that you do not use inclination mode. If you want to use inclination you can reduce the speed to 4 to 5 km/ hr and duration 10 min. On other days you can do cycling for 20 mins.

I am 83 years old male with Osteoporosis of Left Knee for more than 14 years or so. Now there is swelling under the 2, 3, 4th toes of left sole and 2, 3rd of right also. I do oil massage to both the knees. Walking difficulty. If No bandage the knee gives away and I loose balance. Any Remedy?

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

As you feel pain in knee, follow these usefultips for pain relief: * first check out bone mineral density (bmd). In case of low bmd, your calcium level in body are low. So take calcium rich diet daily. Take a glass (300 ml) of full cream milk daily or 100 gm of cheese or 1-2 eggs regularly. * give a gentle oil massage to knee regularly and wrap your knees with cloth dipped in hot water for atleast 10-15 minutes. * wear knee cap or wrap crape bandage during walk for knee support. * sit atleast for 5-8 minutes in sunlight in morning or evening for vitamin-d. *avoid heal shoe and wear only flat shoes for balanced load on knees. * check out your blood sugar level and hemoglobin level in every 6 months. * if you have any history of rheumatoid arthritis in family then checkout your ra factor. * take guggalu tablets if himalaya one tablet daily for atleast 3 months. * take a piece of garlic, crush it and boil it a glass of milk and drink daily for fast pain relief.

Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Take bed rest for 2 days, avoid lifting heavy weights, avoid bike rides, avoid bending your back, do hot formentations over the back - local area of concern, do back strengthening exercises, also you can choose a plan to reduce your back pain,

I have been suffering from adult adhd (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and some form of depression for some years now. The symptoms you are facing are not unusual but the treatment approach may be in question. Have you not sought psychotherapy or counseling from a professional apart from the medication? if not this is the lacuna in your recovery program that is hampering you from making adequate progress. The problem in your case is usually one of the lack of cooperation. If you are determined, a lot of good work and results can be achieved. Any way the choices you have are very limited and you must do whatever you can now, and not wait for a later period because the condition will get worse and your cooperation will be even more remote. Please take it seriously and meet with a counselor and a psychiatrist. I have assumed that you are already on medication although you have not mentioned that. But if you are not you need both therapies to successfully work through this situation. It might be worth going to a clinical psychologist for a thorough testing to be absolutely sure that it is adhd that you have and that there are no overlapping pathologies to compound the condition. It will also help gear the treatment in the desirable direction.
