My wife 53 yr. Diabetic fasting 135 pp 185 please advise homeo & ayurveda medicine.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
My wife 53 yr. Diabetic fasting 135 pp 185 please advise homeo & ayurveda medicine.
Diabetes affects all organs in the body – Eyes, kidneys, nerves, reproductive system all are affected, In fact, from toe to hair. For diabetic control, patient and doctor should be in constant touch for regular follow up and advice. The common symptoms are:-Both types of diabetes have some of the same tell-tale warning signs. Hunger and fatigue. Your body converts the food you eat into glucose that your cells use for energy. But your cells need insulin to bring the glucose in. If your body doesn't make enough or any insulin, or if your cells resist the insulin your body makes, the glucose can't get into them and you have no energy. This can make you more hungry and tired than usual. Urinating more often and being thirstier. The average person usually has to pee between four and seven times in 24 hours, but people with diabetes may go a lot more. Dry mouth and itchy skin. Because your body is using fluids to make pee, there's less moisture for other things. You could get dehydrated, and your mouth may feel dry. Dry skin can make you itchy. Blurred vision. Changing fluid levels in your body could make the lenses in your eyes swell up. They change shape and lose their ability to focus. Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. It is a difficult task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose – SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS), & HbA1C (inform me) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For diabetes, hypertension (high BP) and many long-term illness control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner. For giving you regular follow up you ask me with all details like your daily eating pattern and medicines you take. I assure you a proper guidance. If you keep in touch personally. Masturbation is a healthy way of relieving sexual tension. It is normal, not harmful and it is not going to cause any sexual and marital problem. However it should be done in moderation, preferably 2-3 times a week. Don’t feel guilty about it

Local application of coconut oil or mustard oil or some soothing and calming lotion may provide relief in itching. Neem is one among the best blood purifier and detoxifier known to ayurveda. It enhances immune system and neem oil is an antiseptic in itself. Leaf extracts are used in antiseptics and can be effectively used in treating skin diseases. It destroys fungus and bacteria and is best for almost all kinds of skin diseases including redness of skin and itching.

What are the symtompos of swine flu? Which precaution should we take in this deseice?

What are the symtompos of swine flu? Which precaution should we take in this deseice?
Hello, symptoms of swine flu are similar to most influenza infections: fever (100 f or greater), cough, nasal secretions, fatigue, and headache, with fatigue being reported in most infected individuals. Some patients may also get a sore throat, rash, body aches, headaches, chills, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Good hygiene can help reduce the spread of a wide range of viruses, including the influenza viruses. 1. Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze. 2. Use disposable tissues instead of a handkerchief if you have a cold and throw the tissue in dustbin after use. 3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth too often as this can lead to you contracting the disease. 4. Wash your hands with soap and water or an alcohol based hand rub (hand sanitizer). 5. Viruses also spread by droplet infection which might have deposited on common objects like phones, laptops, common desk, and chairs so avoid touching too many objects and wash your hands if you do. 6. Try and avoid close contact especially with people who have flu. 7. Maintain a minimum distance of 6-10 feet to avoid airborne transmission. 8. Children less than five years of age and elderly should avoid crowded places.

What are the symptoms of dengue and how can we prevent it what precautions we must take? Please help me.

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
What are the symptoms of dengue and how can we prevent it what precautions we must take? Please help me.
The principal symptoms of dengue are: High fever and at least two of the following: Severe headache Severe eye pain (behind eyes) Joint pain Muscle and/or bone pain Rash Mild bleeding manifestation (e. G, nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: Severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting Red spots or patches on the skin Bleeding from nose or gums Vomiting blood Black, tarry stools (feces, excrement) Drowsiness or irritability Pale, cold, or clammy skin Difficulty breathing There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. Persons who think they have dengue should use analgesics (pain relievers) with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. They should also rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc. To prevent dehydration. Preventing dengue fever: the best way to prevent the disease is to prevent bites by infected mosquitoes. To protect yourself: Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. Use mosquito repellents, even indoors. When outdoors, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants tucked into socks. Make sure window and door screens are secure and free of holes. If sleeping areas are not screened or air conditioned, use mosquito nets.

Sir I ejaculate very early is this because of sensitivity of penis head or something else can you please help me.
Try to divert your mind somewhere else, when you feel like ejaculating. And keep your mind free of all fears and tensions while going for sex. I think this will work certainly. If not then you can contact me in private. Generally for this kind of problems, your fear and stress is responsible. Generally there is no physical problem involved.

Yes, masturbation has many as such side effects. It leads to so many male sexual problems, such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation...etc. Better just to control and just do it twice in a week. And take Naturamore plus powder for 2 months. It is just a supplement, but it will help you a lot. If you not getting it anywhere, please let me know. I will help you out in it... Take care... :)

I have got a problem with my organ. I am male. 25. Unmarried. I am not getting a proper hard erection and have the problem of peeing too. I use to masturbate. Does this have a solution?

DNB (ENT), MBBS
Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Specialist, Bangalore
Yes it does have a solution. Most of the time the problem is due to performance anxiety and stress and is very easily treatable. Excessive mastrubation (>1-2 times per day) can cause such difficulties. It is recommended that you see a physician for a more detailed evaluation.

I am suffering from non-alcoholic liver Cirrhosis for the past few years. Besides this Diabetics type 2 and BP. Twice EVL has done through endoscopy. At this moment I approached Acupressure specialist. Every fifteen days one sitting. So far 6 sittings are over. Before starting ACC Pre. Stopped taking medicines for sugar and BP. Recently all the tests are done like LFT, CBP etc. All are in normal stage except Billuribm increased to 2.9. For the last two months foot swelling, terrific itching in the groin (this is there for the last 6 years). Now I am using medicine for dewatering for the last one week and taking only 1Lt of water. I could not able to take food even small quantity. Creatine level is 0.9 only. Now I am very week. In early 1992 it all started with ulcers in the duodenal. Now they are not there. I am a smoker for the last 40 years. Per day 5 cigarette now reduced to 3. What is your advice?

In my opinion you should not have stopped diabetes and bp drugs. Swelling can be due to cirrhosis or you may be having proteinuris (that is increased protein in urine due to diabetic kidney disease). Creatinine is affected in later stages of diabetic kidney disease. You have not mentioned about latest blood sugar and blood pressure. Smoking can be the reason of duodenal ulcer. I suggest you to stop smoking because you already have a high risk of heart disease, get 24 hour urine tested for proteins and creatinine clearance, check hba1c, fbs, bp and continue dewatering medicines. Also restrict salt in your diet to less than 2gm/day which means no added salt in salad, curd, no pickles, chutney, no lassi, no bakery products.
