I tried all the way but I didn't get my colour back but I didn't tried sun lotion.

I tried all the way but I didn't get my colour back but I didn't tried sun lotion.
In order to enhance your skin you need to take care of your skin from outside. You may use a cream or moisturizer that contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid's (AHA's) like glycolic acid, lactic acid etc. AHA's exfoliate superficial dead skin cells and renew it with newer younger cells. Continued use of AHA's keeps skin in a state of continued renewal. This renewed skin is healthier, lighter and brighter. You may also opt for a few sessions of chemical peeling, particularly glycolic peel, from nearest approachable dermatologist. Glycolic peel utilizes a higher concentration of glycolic acid as compared to that present in creams/ moisturizers. The concentration that is available in peels is 20%, 35% 50% and 70%. Whereas creams contain just 6%, 8% or 10% of glycolic acid. I also suggest you to use a broad spectrum sunscreen, throughout the day. It should have both UVA as well as UV B coverage. Regular use of broad spectrum sunscreen would prevent tanning and also delay skin ageing i.e appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Some sunscreens are also fortified with vitamin C which has skin lightening as well as antiageing properties. Besides topical creams and chemical peeling sessions you may also take a few sessions of microdermabrasion to achieve the desired results. I suggest you to visit a dermatologist in your vicinity for more details and the needful. Regards.

Homeopathic Medicines for Treatment of Lichen Planus

PGDM In Cosmetology, Trichology & Weight Managmen, MD, BHMS
Homeopath, Mumbai
Homeopathic Medicines for Treatment of Lichen Planus

Let us start with a brief introduction about homeopathy. We know about the regular treatments and drugs that focus on curing the diseases directly. However, homeopathy is an alternative to regular medicine. The science of homeopathy is based on the principle that the substances which induce symptoms in healthy individuals are the ones that would help cure the same symptoms of a person who is sick. This medical science was introduced by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. Another principle of homeopathy is that the least amount of medication should be required to evoke the healing response in a body. Normal medications have been well known to cause numerous side effects, but homeopathy, on the other hand, puts the efforts to prevent the formation of any sort of side effect altogether.

Lichen Planus-

This is an immune system-triggered skin disorder. The most common symptoms of this disorder are:

  1. Occurrence of purple-coloured bumps with flat tops takes place on the skin or genitals.

  2. These bumps develop and also spread in a span of a few months.

  3. The rashes are itchy.

  4. Lacy white rashes occur in the mouth.

  5. Scabby blisters and thin white lines appear over these rashes.

Causes-

The exact reason of this disorder is not known. However, it is believed that this develops when the immune system wrongly attacks the mucous membrane or the skin. This disorder can also be genetic. However, it is not infectious. Also another reason for the cause of this disorder may be due to exposure to certain chemicals which act like allergens such as gold, diuretics, certain dyes, arsenic, antibiotics etc.

Homeopathic Treatment To Cure Lichen Planus-

Homeopathy offers research-proven and highly effective treatment for Lichen Planus which has been scientifically documented. Contrary to the conventional treatment, which is governed by the use of cortisone, homeopathic treatment is amazingly curative, safe and longer lasting.

The homeopathic treatment for Lichen Planus is based on the individual case study of the patient's disease, its cause, its spread, the area affected, the genetic tendency, mindset, etc. The treatment plans thus designed is addressed towards correcting the immune system, in turn treating Lichen Planus from within. Homeopathic Clinics and our online treatment platform for our global patients.

  1. Borax - This is suited when blisters appear in the mouth.

  2. Arsenicum album - This can be provided when the rashes are very itchy and blisters form after scratching.

  3. Sulphur - This can be recommended to individuals with dry, scaly and unhealthy skin. Skin ailments in these skin types are usually associated with a lot of itching and burning. This particular remedy is best suited for weak individuals who are extremely sensitive to high temperatures, individuals who are mostly irritated and depressed.

  4. Apis - This is suitable when burning and swelling of the rashes occur. These also cure the prickly heat rashes.

  5. Nat. Mur - In case of dry eruptions occurring on the bends of the joints and on the margins of hairy scalps, this remedy can be useful. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a homeopath.

Is doing facial is good What type of facial suits oily skin ?
If you have oily skin I would not suggest facial for you. You can do peels which can decrease the oiliness on the face.

Dear lybrate-user according to what you are describing this is a fungal infection. Keep that area clear. Use anti fungal creams but don't stop it when the rashes are clear. You should use 2 to 4 weeks. Wear loose clothes and ironed clothes. Try tea tree oil.
