If your periods are over due by 8 days and your pregnancy test is negative.There are two possibilities. First your period is delayed due to hormonal imbalance, then period will come in one or two weeks. Second possibility is that pregnancy test is false negative, and may become positive after one week. Ultrasound Scan can confirm or exclude pregnancy.

My age 73 years Plus diabetic high pressure - from more than 25 years. Taking medicine Glypride 1, repeat H once a day plus vitamin tablets. Night before going to bed aspirin AV 75 normal working - 6 to 7 hours sound sleep-late morning walk and ex crises and normal working every day. Motion - try to clear every day. Keep clear the nose and trout {nak and gall ). Problem SNORING.

It is good that you are working and doing exercise at your age. Congratulations - snoring is common after 50 years. Associated cold increases it. You can use nasal spray or slightly warm castor oil in both nostrils at bedtime.

Hi Jara, it will be better if you share details of your period like cycle length how it bleeds . Frequent and routine use of ipill is not recommended.

Dear to decrease ur weight you have to do work out daily...Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do Bhujang asana , Dhanurasana ,Naukasana, Kumbhakasana , Pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and spicy food..and Constipation.

If steroids are given orally for long periods of time than only it will cause bone shrinkage but if given through nebulisation than it won't have any side effects

You have to see health in totality and follow healthy life-style. Standing or maintaining the same posture ) for long hours may create many types of back problems ( or joint problems ). Hi. As height can be gained till 21yrs. Of age in males and 18yrs. In females, so start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - bakson's hite-aid and five phos. - both thrice daily and thuja 1m/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months. Management: take milk and milk products which contains more calcium. More of protein (for cell multiplication) like pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts, flaxseeds, non-veg, eggs, etc. Also, don't forget to take green vegetables, yellow veggies and fruits, seasonal fruits, salads, etc. Do skip rope daily, initially 10-20 times later gradually and slowly increase the frequency as per your capacity. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. Last but not least, do take enough of rest and sleep (which helps in repairing of cells and cell rejuvenation). 10 Weight Loss Tips That Are Actually Evidence-Based

The weight loss “industry” is full of myths.

People are being advised to do all sorts of crazy things, most of which have no evidence behind them.

Over the years, however, scientists have found a number of strategies that seem to be effective.

Here are 26 weight loss tips that are actually evidence-based.

1. Drink Water, Especially Before Meals

It is often claimed that drinking water can help with weight loss, and this is true.

Drinking water can boost metabolism by 24-30% over a period of 1-1.5 hours, helping you burn off a few more calories
One study showed that drinking a half literf water about a half an hour before meals helped dieters eat fewer calories and lose 44% more weight.

2. Eat Eggs For Breakfast

Eating whole eggs can have all sorts of benefits, including helping you lose weight.

Studies show that replacing a grain-based breakfast with eggs can help you eat fewer calories for the next 36 hours, and lose more weight and more body fat. If you can’t eat eggs for some reason, then that’s fine. Any source of quality protein for breakfast should do the trick.

3. Drink Coffee (Preferably Black)

Coffee has been unfairly demonized. Quality coffee is loaded with antioxidants, and can have numerous health benefits.

Studies show that the caffeine in coffee can boost metabolism by 3-11%, and increase fat burning by up to 10-29% Just make sure NOT to add a bunch of sugar or other high-calorie ingredients to it. That will completely negate any benefit you get from the coffee.

4. Drink Green Tea

Like coffee, green tea also has many benefits, one of them being weight loss.

Green tea contains small amounts of caffeine, but it is also loaded with powerful antioxidants called catechins, which are also believed to work synergistically with the caffeine to enhance fat burning.Although the evidence is mixed, there are many studies showing that green tea (either as a beverage or a green tea extract supplement) can help you lose weight.

5. Cook With Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is very healthy. It is high in special fats called medium chain triglycerides, which are metabolized differently than other fats.

These fats have been shown to boost metabolism by 120 calories per day, and also reduce your appetite so that you eat up to 256 fewer calories per day.
Keep in mind that this is not about adding coconut oil on top of what you’re already eating, it is about replacing some of your current cooking fats with coconut oil.

6. Take a Glucomannan Supplement

A fiber called glucomannan has been shown to cause weight loss in several studies.

This is a type of fiber that absorbs water and “sits” in your gut for a while, making you feel more full and helping you eat fewer calories.Studies have shown that people who supplement with glucomannan lose a bit more weight than those who don’t.

7. Cut Back on Added Sugar

Added sugar is the single worst ingredient in the modern diet, and most people are eating way too much of it.

Studies show that sugar (and high fructose corn syrup) consumption is strongly associated with the risk of obesity, as well as diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease and others.If you want to lose weight, you should be cutting back on added sugars. Just make sure to read labels, because even so-called health foods can be loaded with sugar.

8. Eat Less Refined Carbs

Refined carbohydrates are usually sugar, or grains that have been stripped of their fibrous, nutritious parts (includes white bread and pasta).

Studies show that refined carbs can spike blood sugar rapidly, leading to hunger, cravings and increased food intake a few hours later. Eating refined carbs is strongly linked to obesity.If you’re going to eat carbs, make sure to eat them with their natural fiber.

9. Go on a Low Carb Diet

If you want to get all the benefits of carb restriction, then consider taking this all the way and going on a low carb diet.

Numerous studies show that such a diet (or “way of eating”) can help you lose 2-3 times as much weight as a standard low-fat diet, while improving your health at the same time .

10. Use Smaller Plates

Using smaller plates has been shown to help people automatically eat fewer calories in some studies. Weird trick, but it seems to work.

1. Avoid tight hairstyles. Pulling on your hair, or styling it tightly, can cause hairs to be pulled out. Styling or playing with your hair too often may also contribute to hair loss. Opt for loose hair styles to lessen the strain and damage to your hair. o Avoid tight braids, using hair rollers, or tight hair clips and holders. o Don't use hot oil treatments on your hair either, as they can be damaging to the hair and scalp. o Avoid playing with your hair often, twisting or pulling on it. 2.Use a comb with widely spaced teeth. If your comb has tightly spaced teeth, it may pull on your hair, more than a brush with wider teeth would. This pulling can cause more hair loss. Use a comb with widely spaced teeth for a gentler way to brush your hair. o When brushing your hair, always brush gently. o Wet hair is more fragile than when it is dry. Be careful when combing or brushing wet hair. 3.Be careful with heat. Using any heated tool on your hair can cause damage and increase hair loss. Try to avoid using any device such as hair dryers or curling irons. If you must use a hair dryer, set it to the coolest setting you can. 4.Find the right hair products. Certain hair products, shampoos and conditioners, are believed to help keep hair looking full and healthy. You may have to try a few different products before you find one that works best for your hair and hair style. Try looking for some of the following qualities: o Look for products labeled “volumizing shampoo”. o Avoid “conditioning shampoos” as these can make the hair appear less full or heavy. o Avoid “intensive conditioners”. These may be too heavy and cause your hair to look less full. o Try to find conditioners that are designed for fine hair. o Products that contain biotin or silica may help as well 5.Avoid stress. Being under stress can increase hair loss. Stress may cause your hair follicles to go into a resting phase, resulting in thinner hair coverage. Hair loss caused by stress can be reversed by reducing that stress. 6.Try a new haircut. Ask your hairstylist to cut your hair, in a new style, that makes it look fuller. Remember that hair loss caused during post-pregnancy is temporary, and that you can always restyle your hair once it starts recovering. Longer hair styles can make hair loss more noticeable. 7.Watch your diet. Your diet can have an effect on the health of your hair. By eating certain foods you can help ensure that you have healthy hair. Try monitoring your diet for the following vitamins and minerals: o Hair consists of protein. Getting enough protein in your diet will help keep your hair strong. o Monitor your iron intake. If you eat meat, try consuming lean meat for a healthy source of iron. Vegetarian sources of iron include soybeans, lentils, and spinach. o Vegetables and fruits can contain flavonoids and antioxidants, which can help with the maintenance of hair follicles. 8.Start taking supplements. Some supplements are recommended to keep hair healthy and strong. While you wait for your hormone levels and hair growth to return to normal, you can maintain your hair with the following supplements: o Try taking vitamin B, C, E and zinc. o There is some evidence that taking biotin in oral form, zinc, and topical application of a cream containing clobetasol propionate, can help with hair loss o Applying lavender oil mixed with thyme, rosemary and cedar wood oils, may help treat some forms of hair loss. 9.Consider using hormonal birth-control. After pregnancy, your estrogen levels will be lower than normal. Hormonal birth-control can help boost estrogen levels, which in turn, may help with hair loss after pregnancy. o You must wait at least four weeks after giving birth before starting any hormonal birth-control. Starting too soon can increase the risk of blood clots. o If you are nursing, you should wait until your supply of milk is established, as birth-control can disrupt milk production. Tips • Don't worry. Hair loss after pregnancy is temporary. After six to twelve months, you hair should return to normal.

According to your height your weight is quite low. To increase your weight you take lots of boiled beans sprouts dates banana daily. Take seasonal fruits dry fruits cashew nuts and ground nuts daily. Go for a walk daily. Take proper rest. And avoid stress.

It is must to check the blood for vitamin d and even calcium. Without doing blood test no one can say that it is overdose. This is not the only reason for hair fall. There are various other reasons also. So diagnose this first and then treat the hair fall. Consult trichologist.

Hi, your height can grow till 25 years of age. If you haven't yet reached the age, you may try the following remedies - 1. Take flax seed powder - 1 tablespoon after lunch and dinner with warm water. 2. Take lakshadi guggul - 2 tablets, twice a day. 3. Take ashwgandha churna - 1 tablespoon with milk at 6.30 pm. Also follow these exercises daily - 1. Swimming 2. Skipping 3. Pull-ups 4. Suryanamaskar.

I get acidity and gastric influx almost everyday. I survive on pentacid tablets.But need a permanent solution to the problem.Many times ven the pentacid doesnt work and i suffer a lot.
