. There may not be quick fix solutions. Try regularity in timing of meals. Consume more of high fibre containing foods, leafy vegetables, fruits preferably not peeled. Have a morning walk and light physical exercise. Intermittently try sat isabgul powder at bedtime (soaked in water for an hour or so at bedtime or liquid paraffin containing medicine 1- 2 teaspoon.

Please suggest me tablets or ointments and using directions. Please suggest me which specialist I need to consult. Thanks a lot you all Doctors.

It mostly occurs due to less water content in the digestive system causes: the causes of constipation are: improper intake of fiber-rich foods inadequate intake of water and other fluids irregular habits of defecation excess intake of dairy products travelling, which causes disruption in the regular diet stress eating disorders less physical activity. Homeopathic treatment = nux vomica 30 (4 pills) 2 times / day for 5 days. Follow up after 5 days. Preventive measures to avoid constipation. Drink lots of water. Eat fibre-rich diet, including grains, beans, fruits and vegetables. Do exercise regularly. Avoid caffeinated drinks. Eat daily 2 banana. Avoid overeating. Avoid overuse of laxatives. MBBS, MD - Psychiatry, MBA (Healthcare)

Hi there ~ I am sorry to hear about your acidity problem for the last 10 days. I believe that you will be able to eat properly once your acidity is treated. I would also suggest that you avoid using any cigarettes to avoid acidity. If you have tried over the counter medications to help with acidity and have not helped, please consult a physician or you may also visit with a gastroenterologist m. Hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day.

Hi I have gastric problem. And having very dark yellow urine from last 3 months .there is any serious issue of liver problem. Or any stomach infections? Please suggest me good diet to get ride of this problems.

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Get a sonography of abdomen and liver function tests to rule out liver and gall bladder problems. The gastric problems must be secondary to liver problems. Till such time you get investigations done, have a low fat diet. Avoid butter, ghee, cheese, bakery products and reduce oil intake in food.

I am facing pain in stomach, bloating and vomiting immediately after eating anything please help me how to remove gas from my stomach not able to eat anything.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
Hello, Thanks for your query. Try an over-the-counter medicine containing simethicone, which helps to break down gas bubbles. You can try a process of elimination by substituting a gassy food for a non-gassy one, and see which one is giving you the most trouble. A few basic substitutions: • Rice milk for cow’s milk • Bananas, blueberries and melon for apples, peaches and plums • Gluten-free and spelt cereals and bread for wheat and rye products • Bamboo shoots, bok choy, carrot, celery, corn, eggplant, green beans, lettuce, chives, parsnip, pumpkin, and tomato for artichokes, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, okra, onions, and peas. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care

Hi doctor pls help to locate issue and solution as my father age is 65 from few days he gets blood in night during gas discharge only after dinner or bed time, he use to take 2 drinks every day and taking drinks from last 20 years, earlier also same problem happened very often when ever he consumes street food, now days they r taking BP medicine and ecosprin as suggested by doctor.

MD-Homeopathy
Homeopath, Kolkata
Mr. Lybrate-user, I think your father is having problem with lower gi tract. Painless bleeding is little urgent to be attended. He must have some bleeding points inside. Consult a general surgeon and go for a colonoscopy. Ecospine may be one of the cause.
