hello, you can get your teeth in proper alignment by going for orthodontic (braces) treatment. orthodontic treatment is the safest and most conservative treatment to straighten teeth. you need to consult an orthodontist for the same. you can also go for veneers.

Cause of discoloration ? Smoking, coffee, tea, drugs, aging, staining food (wine, blueberry, etc) genetics. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with whitening (bleaching) procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or capping. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use Snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply SNOWDENT paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min .Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results. DENTAL TIPS: - Visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

I have a bad smell in my mouth. Please give me a suggestion to overcome the smell.

I have a bad smell in my mouth. Please give me a suggestion to overcome the smell.
Bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: - practice good oral hygiene. - brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. - don't forget to brush the tongue, too. - replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. - use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. - see your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. - drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. - chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.

REMEDIES FOR BURNING TONGUE: Sucking on ice or sipping on cold water to reduce the burning and pain Chewing on sugar-free gum to increase the production of saliva and prevent dry mouth syndrome Get your dentist to take care of any cavities, gum disease, or ill-fitting dentures Speak to your doctor about changing any medications that may be causing burning tongue syndrome Regular exercise such as yoga and meditation can lessen stress and anxiety that can aggravate the symptoms of burning tongue syndrome Using baking soda instead of commercially available toothpaste in case certain ingredients in your regular toothpaste is causing the symptoms of burning tongue Boil mint leaves in water. Cool and strain and place the infusion in the fridge. Drink this twice a day to reduce burning and irritation in the mouth You can also use this mint infusion as a homemade mouthwash to prevent inflammation. While mint has therapeutic properties that can help treat burning tongue, never chew raw mint leaves as this can cause more damage than good Margosa leaves contain anti-bacterial compounds that can prevent bad breath and other dental problems. You can brush your teeth with a paste made of crushed margosa leaves Make a paste of onion and a few pods of garlic. Add this paste to water and use this mixture to gargle daily. This helps reduce the burning sensation in the mouth and prevents bad breath Lavender oil applied to the mouth can offer quick relief in cases of burning tongue In much the same way, applying a layer of glycerin over the tongue can reduce the pain and burning as well Other burning tongue remedies include avoiding smoking and alcohol, and cutting down on spicy and oily foods Alternative remedies such as homeopathy, acupressure and herbal treatments can help treat burning tongue syndrome as well

The mouth is home to hundreds of bacterial species with various nutritional preferences. These organisms usually enjoy proteins, and as they digest proteins several fetid substances arise. The role of volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs) in producing bacteria that colonize over the tongue was recently understood as a main cause of halitosis (bad breath). The most common VSCs, such as methylmercaptan and hydrogen sulfite, can be detected by using organoleptic and objective methods. Treatment includes maintaining good oral hygiene, brush two times a day and gargle with salted water after meals, homoeopathic medicines will give you permanent solution.

Hello Replacing tooth will be more painful. But these both procedures are performed under local anesthesia so you won't feel pain. First visit a dentist and get an x ray done for the tooth then the dentist will decide whether to do a root canal or simply cavity filling. Regards.

Hi, My question is to a Dentist. Will there be any side effects for now or in future due to removal of wisdom tooth. Also, can you please explain in short the reason for which the third molar/wisdom tooth occurs. Thanks in advance.

Hi, My question is to a Dentist.
Will there be any side effects for now or in future due to removal of wisdom tooth.
...
There are no side effect as many people tend to say that if you get your teeth removed your eye sight weakens but this are myth. Wisdom teeth normal comes out in same plane as other teeth but they tend to be impacted due the decreased jaw length it's an evolution and lifestyle changes which causes it.

A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations (full mouth x-ray) to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. Until then apply a desensitizing paste (sensodyne tooth paste) on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min until you brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight will be better. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. If your child's age is between 9-12 years and his/her front teeth or jaws are looking forwardly placed then consult orthodontist as soon as possible as this is the proper age to treat your child by modifying jaw growth if there is any imbalance between upper n lower jaw.

You need to consult a dentist for your scaling. And if the odor is not because of oral hygiene problems than a systemic cause needs to be found out.
