If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Wear elbow brace and wrist brace which will make her to feel warm and that will make the joints become firm. Hot water fermentation will help Knee cap will also help to prevent the damaged cartilages. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Which joints you have pain? If your proximal joints (ie. Shoulder, hip & knee has pain) then you can pour hot (warm) water in that area to reduce the inflammation. If you have pain in the distal joints ie. Wrist, fingers, ankle, toes then you can wear either elbow brace or wrist brace which will help you to feel warm and very protective. And also immerse the distal joints in the hot water tub which will help you to reduce the pain.Consult the near by physiotherapy clinic and also consult a general physician to check with your ESR levels to check whether you have inflammation.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Do warming up before & after jogging, walk for 5-10 min before the actual jog, also do stretching - have 1/2 to 1 glass of water an hour before exercise, also sufficient water after it - have a light snack like a fruit banana, apple or a cup of milk with chocolate or nuts one hour before run & also immediately after it so that a continuous flow of energy is there & you don't feel tired - also do moderate weight lifting for 10-15 min twice a week to build muscles & keep you fit as only jogging can reduce your muscle mass & lower your metabolic rate - having water is always good to keep yourself well hydrated - also have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables & protein rich foods to keep up your stamina - increase your distance & time gradually only once you get accustomed to a distance & don't feel tired.

As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Simple Knee Exercies Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Avoid Working in Stooped Positions to Save Your Back

Avoid Working in Stooped Positions to Save Your Back

When standing with your back straight, the stresses on discs and ligaments in your low back are considerably lower than when you stand with your back bent forward. Many activities around the home may cause you to bend-for example, gardening, vacuuming, bed making, etc.

Occupations requiring prolonged stooped postures are abundant: assembly line workers, bricklayers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, surgeons, nurses-the list goes on-are all required to bend forward for prolonged periods everyday.

While working in these bent positions, you are more likely to sustain back problems in the first four or five hours of the day.In order to minimise the risks involved in prolonged forward bending, you should interrupt the stooped position at regular intervals before pain starts. You should stand upright and bend backward five or six times.

This is very important if you have already developed low back problems caused by working in a stooped position. Regular interruption of the stooped position will correct any distortion that may occur in the discs and relieve the stresses on the surrounding tissues. When this is done before pain starts, it usually prevents the development of significant low back pain; and remember, you are especially at risk in the first half of your day, so make sure you always do everything correctly during this period.

I started to feel the occurrence of haemorrhoid around 45 days back. I tried doing every possible thing for the first five days. Then I took Duphalac syrup and Anobliss cream. After that I hv been taking proper ayurvedic treatment whether arshkalp or pileclide or some arshras and syrups and almost everything. Still nothing worked. Dying of pain. Can not work walk or sit. Is there something which can cure it instantly.

Dear, follow these best method to get fast relief from piles: *. Fill a tub with luke warm water. Put a stool in centre of tub and sit onstool. Note that your hips are within the water. Sit for 10-15 minute. It willrecover your swelling. You can add 1/2 tea spoon of salt and neem leaves 5-10 in water for fast recovery. * apply glycerine or coconut oil dipped cotton gauze on the anus in night. *. Diet plays very important role. Eat a lot of leafy vegetables, high roughage food (oat meals, daliya, corn). These diet softens your stools and anus feels little pressure during defeacation (stool extraction) and recover fastly. *avoid cheese, egg, potatoes, westren foods (burgers, pizza, white bread etc), soft drinks. These foods enhances constipation and can increase the swelling. *do not sit on couch for a long time. Walk for atleast 2-3 minutes in 3-4 hours. *take half tea spoon of turmeric (haldi powder), a pinch of carom (ajwain. Add then in a glass of water. Boil it for 2-3 minutes. Drink 30 ml ofthis water 2 times (morning and evening. It relieves your piles very fastly * you can take triphala power 1 tea spoon with one glass of water in evening daily. Atleast for 3 months. For any crack to heel it takes minimum 6weeks to heal. Kindly also tell which bone was broken. For swelling a doctor can apply crepe bandage. For pain I can reply only once you tell which bone was broken.
