Hi 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home). 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yogurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain pH balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin C like amla and oranges. 10. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to flush out toxins from the body.

Getting Rid of Dry Scalp Step 1 Use less shampoo. If you use too much shampoo, you increase the chances that residue will be left behind .Failure to thoroughly rinse out Shampoo of the hair causes scalp irritation and flakiness. Step 2 Exfoliate your scalp. Getting rid of dry, dead skin cells is just as good for your dry scalp as it is for your face. Mix a tablespoon or two of sugar with your shampoo and gently work it into your scalp with the pads of your fingers. Avoid using your fingernails when lathering up, which can cause nicks or cuts. Step 3 Avoid extremely hot water. Hot water can dry out the skin and aggravate a dry, flaky scalp. The same is true for heat styling products such as a blow-dryer. Excessive heat can cause the scalp to become irritated and dry. Step 4 Give yourself a scalp massage. A scalp massage causes blood to flow to the scalp, and helps clear any blocked pores that may be interfering with sebum production. Sebum is the oil produced in the sebaceous glands of the scalp. Massaging the scalp also loosens excess dead skin and dandruff, making it easier to wash away. Give yourself a scalp massage before or during your shampoo, or even when you're relaxing in front of the TV. Putting olive oil on your fingertips before the massage gives your scalp added benefits. After the massage, continue with an olive oil treatment. Step 5 Apply an olive oil treatment to the scalp. Dip your fingers into olive oil. Apply the oil to your scalp, using gentle circular motions. Cover the entire scalp, but not the length of the hair. Once the scalp is covered with oil, cover the head with plastic wrap or a shower cap. Cover the plastic wrap with a warm towel, and leave on for 45 minutes. Rinse well with lukewarm water, then shampoo as usual. If you condition your hair after the shampoo, do not apply conditioner to the scalp. Instead, apply conditioner starting 1 inch from the scalp and down to the ends. Things You'll Need • Sugar • Olive oil • Bowl • Plastic wrap or plastic shower cap • Towel • Anti Dandruff Shampoo ( Wilmar Schwabe india) • HAIR CONDITIONER ( BAKSON) NOTE –Please go for ANTI DANRUFF OIL TREATMENT and OLIVE OIL TREATMENT once each in a week. Apple cider vinegar is anti-inflammatory in nature and is also great for restoring the pH balance of the scalp, which is another reason for using this as an excellent treatment for dry, flaky scalp. Take apple cider vinegar and dilute it with some water. This has to be applied on the scalp and left on for half an hour. • With constant application, apple cider vinegar will remove the pH imbalance in the scalp and also the dead and accumulated cells as well. This will also aid in better hair growth and prevent hair fall due to dry scalp. Apple cider vinegar also makes your hair shiny and smooth. Apple cider vinegar can also be applied without dilution if your skin is not over sensitive.

You can come over it very easily due to your determination. 1.Make sure you are walking at least 5000 steps every day. It is strongly recommended that you start with a jogging regime 2.You should avoid late night dinners at any cost and make sure you are following a routine while having 3 main course foods of the day. 3.Eat handfull of roasted almond every day. 4.Try having your dinner (heavy or proper food) before sunset and not eat anything heavy after sunset this will surely help you to lose your weight. 5.Try to sleep before 11: 00 P. M. And sleep for minimum 6 to 8 hours. Lack of sleep is also a leading factor of weight gain. 6.Avoid processed food, sugar and its products as well as refined oil/double refined oil. After this your stomach condition will remain intact at pH7 (which is not alkaline or acidic in nature but normal). 8.Another advice is that don’t drink water after your meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast, or any mini meal). Drink water after 90 minutes. Drinking water after your meals reduces your digestion, and as you know if food is not digested it will produce acid, which in turn will increase your weight. Dear, These are the causes of pimples: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal imbalance. These are the methods & instructions to avoid pimples: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. You can find the diet regimen from my previously posted threads. But for your convenience, I am re-posting it. These are the general guidelines. For customized diet plan and treatment you can approach a good doctor. 1. Eat a healthy breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast revs up your metabolism. If you skip breakfast you're likely to eat more calories by binging later in the day. Cooked oatmeal, whole grain cereals, whole grain breads, eggs and tofu with a salad are all healthy choices. 2. Stop counting calories and eat foods that nourish your body. A meal of fat-free, sugar-free, refined processed foods is also nutrient-free. Plus, it won't satisfy you for long compared to a meal of nutrient-dense whole foods like vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, and healthy fat. As you begin eating more nutritious foods and get a little more physical activity (if you aren't physically active now), your body will come to its natural healthy weight. 3. Always have some veggies and fruit washed and cut in your fridge. This way they're easy to grab when you're hungry and you can throw them in your bag when you're on the go. 4. Replace diet soda with unsweetened beverages. Diet drinks keep your sweet tooth craving sweets. Plus, they make you feel virtuous. Many people who drink diet drinks actually reward themselves with extra calories through the day. Instead, drink iced teas or plain or carbonated water with a slice of lemon or lime. 5. Use the" plate method" to make a healthy meal. Fill half your plate with low or non-starchy veggies like broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, string beans, mushrooms, peppers, or leafy greens and some fruit. Fill one quarter, with a whole grain like brown rice, barley or a starchy vegetable like corn or potatoes, or beans. Fill the last quarter with protein like broiled, sauteed, roasted, or baked (not fried) fish, chicken or turkey without the skin, lean cuts of meat, tofu or eggs. 6. Cut down on carbs. Refined carbohydrates (cake, candy, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, soda, fruit juice, syrups, chips, and most supermarket breads) you don't burn turn into fat. Even foods like fruit yogurt and many breakfast cereals have lots of added sugar. Replace fruity yogurts with plain yogurt, choose high-fiber, lower carb cereal and add small amounts of healthy fat to your meals with avocado slices, unsalted nuts, seeds and olive oil. 7. Shrink your lunch and dinner plates. If you and your family eat off a plate larger than ten inches, replace them with plates that are nine or ten inches in diameter. We tend to eat what's in front of us. Using smaller plates there's less food in front of you to eat. 8. When eating out ask your server to double the green veggies in place of the potato or rice. I always do this and benefit from more nutrition and less carbs. Also, share food at the table. 9. Keep tempting foods out of the house. Stock your fridge and pantry with healthy foods and you're creating an environment that will help make you successful. Enjoy treats occasionally when you're out. 10. Walk for at least 40-45 minutes. You can start with 10-15 minutes and gradually increase to reach your target.

The principal symptoms of dengue are: -high fever and at least two of the following: -severe headache -severe eye pain (behind eyes) -joint pain -muscle and/or bone pain -rash -mild bleeding manifestation (nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: -severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting -red spots or patches on the skin -bleeding from nose or gums -vomiting blood -black, tarry stools  -drowsiness or irritability -pale, cold, or clammy skin -difficulty breathing There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. -Use analgesics with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. -Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc.to prevent dehydration. -Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. -Use mosquito repellents/mosquito nets when indoors.  -When outdoors, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants tucked into socks.

To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Common Cold/Flu (Influenza) is viral Upper respiratory infection. Its Virus has multiple variants. If get infected with one variant this time, then you may get infected with other variant. There can be fever/ cough/ headache/ Throat pain/nasal discharge. These symptoms last for 5-7 days, with or without treatment. Routine Blood investigations are generally normal. Some time viral infection can have supper added Bacterial infection which require Antibiotics. Warm saline gargles, steam inhalation/ drinking hot fluids like water/tea/coffee/soup may give relief. There are no sure short cuts. It's taken so much time to gain weight so give your self some reasonable and practical time to lose it. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

How Insomnia Influences Your Emotions

There is a distinct relationship between sleeping disorders and your emotional health, both influence each other. Insomnia is a common sleeping disorder, which is generally caused due to stress and tension. Depression and anxiety also account for insomnia. It has been proven by research that people who experience sleeplessness or cases of insomnia are at a higher risk of depression and similar psychiatric disorders.

Insomnia is an important factor which causes depression and many people affected by it commit suicide. Researchers have found dysfunctional activity in the area of the brain where emotions are processed and regulated, among people with insomnia. Their study explains the mechanism by which insomnia affects and influences emotions in people, which leads to depression and other disorders.


The ways in which insomnia affects your emotions

  1. There is a clear difference in the brain activities of people with insomnia when compared with normal people who get good sleep. There is usually a great difference between the activities of the amygdala, which are neurons in the temporal lobe of the brain. The amygdala is very important in regulation and processing of emotions.
  2. Insomnia disrupts the ability of the brain to process negative emotions.
  3. Neural change and problems with regulating emotions are also caused because of insomnia.
  4. Insomnia disables the ability of judging or sensing any kind of emotion by looking at the face of a person. It is difficult to judge emotions such as anger and sadness in people suffering from insomnia. This impairment occurs more in women.
  5. Insomnia and similar sleeping disorders affect our inhibition and disrupt our impulse control mechanism. An insomniac person is likely to develop increased impulsiveness to negative stimulus.
  6. People suffering from insomnia develop a perception towards negative stuff and perceive most things in a negative way, rather than looking at the bright side which a normal person tends to do. People affected by insomnia are characterized by a negative mood and are pessimists in nature.
  7. A sleep deprived or insomniac patient shows greater activity around the limbic area of the brain. This is the area where major emotional regulation and processing are undertaken.
  8. A person suffering from insomnia develops a cranky personality. The patient is in an irritable mood and is triggered by the slightest and pettiest of circumstances. An insomniac patient is also characterized by swinging moods, high temper and general fatigue, which result due to lack of sleep.

Insomnia is a sleeping disorder which directly affects a person's emotions and the processing and regulation of emotions.
