Use a salicylic acid/ glycolic acid based face wash. Get your comedones extracted regularly. Use a water based moisturizer, even oily skin needs hydration. scrub your face two times in week. Use a mud mask weekly. Take salicylic acid or glycolic acid peels every fifteen days or month to improve skin texture, control acne and reduce scars and marks. Take a well balanced nutritious diet and exercise daily. Avoid face massages or application of greasy cosmetics and oils.

Hi lybrate-user One of the causes of the calcaneal spur can be lack of vit D (due to menopausal age) and over pressure of heels (standing while cooking). So get he Vit D checked and in the mean time get some silicon base heel cushions available in market (vissco, tynor, flamingo are the company names). At home contrast bath ie, hot and cold water deeping (1 min of hot followed by 20 secs of cold for 5-6 times) will give pain relief, but for permanent cure Do physiotherapy with some elctrotherapy and exercises along with Vit D supplementation, that will definately help.

Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. But, in case there are areas of baldness which has gone smooth and shiny, you will have to choose an option of Hair Transplant along with theses medications!). Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

You might be having fungal infection. You can use candid gum paint for that. Also it can be traeted with topical anti-fungal drugs, such as nystatin, miconazole, gentian violet or amphotericin b.

Testicular pain can be due to various reason lile sexually transmitted diseases, trauma, testicular torsion, epididymitis, orchitis, kidney stones etc. So maintain your weight as it can put pressure on your abdominal region, perform sex in right way, avoid lifting heavy objects for time being, avoid spicy, oily, junk food, eat well balanced diet including fresh fruits, green leafy vegetable.

DEAR Lybrate USER. This problem is due to irritation and inadequate nutrition of the brain. So follow few basic things …. 1) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 2) don’t drink water one hour before meals and one hour after meal…3) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods…. 4) avoid coffee and tea…5) avoid late night sleeping habits …. 6) do anuloma viloma pranayam regularly early in the morning. A) eat 10 gm of HENBANE SEEDS along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals. B) take 60 ml of AUDUMBARAVLEHA along with 10 ml of honey early in the morning and at night before sleep. C) take 5gm of fine powder of NUTMEG along with AUDUMBARAVLEHA at night before sleep…. D) instill 3-4 drops of CHANDANADI TAILA in each nostril at the time of sleeping……Do all these things for 15 days. It gives you good result. Consult to me for further suggestions. THANKS.

Hi lybrate-user, it is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Continue to avoid all junk food and all kind of sweet food. Low fat diet does not work for majority of people. Don't eat multiple times. Eat only 2 or 3 times a day. Eat wholesome nutritious food full of fibers, good quality fat like ghee and coconut etc. Don't focus on calories but on nutritional density and diversity. Simultaneously working on exercise and diet will surely help. Best rate to lose weight is 1/2 kg per week. If that happens, it is least likely to go high again in future. Trying to lose weight in very short time will need some form of crash diet. Even if you lose weight doing this kind of crash diet, you will get it all back within no time and all the gain will be mainly fat. Not good for your health. Running 10 km per day is wonderful. You are on right track. Do that at least 4 times per week. Be gentle and patient with yourself. Demonstrate commitment in your persistent efforts. Make comprehensive change in diet, exercise, sleep and stress in your routine. This is called lifestyle medicine. If you can not do it on your own, find some lifestyle medicine expert who can help you in this over extended period of time my best wishes to you.

Something is obviously distracting you. The only thing that we know can and will disturb your concentration is stress. Are you aware of what is causing the distraction? Retaining information to be recalled at will is the role of memory. But preceding memory is concentration. For which you need to do the following: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night?s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. Good social contacts are good for memory too: so make and keep good friends. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly.

100-126 Level indicates PRE-DIABETES stage. It means that if you can control now. You can reverse your sugar levels and be healthy. BUT if you don't control now. You could slip into diabetes stage. So take care now! >> Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc..>> Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango..>> Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc..>> Eat fruits with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange..>> Do at least 30-45 mins of exercise everyday. Walk for 10 mins after every meal.

Cold weather makes skin dry. It is normal. In twenties, skin is not going to be baby soft anymore and you need to care more about it. Always moisturise with a nice cream after washing face whenever skin feels rough, moisturising is the key.

1.Apply fresh lemon juice with a cotton ball on the affected area ,leave it for 15-20 minutes wash it off with water. Repeat the process twice daily for few months 2.Massage vitamin E oil into affected area for 10 minutes twice daily for few week 3.Mix one tsf of turmeric powder and one tsf of lemon juice. Apply it on affected area, leave it for 20 minutes, rinse it off with water. Continue it daily for few weeks. 4.apply fresh Aloevera gel on affected area before going to bed, leave it over night, rinse it off in the morning. Repeat it daily for few week 5.Consult skin specialist for further advice.

Hello, 1. Take Acid phos. 200, 5 drops , morning empty stomach, once in week. 2.wiesbaden 200, 5 drops , daily morning empty stomach. 3.Natrum mur 6x, 4-4 tabs once a day. 4. Apply Arnica hair growth oil (B &T) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. 5.Wash hair with Arnica montana herbal shampoo (SBL) 6.Drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. 7.Take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, at daily night . 8.Add more proteins to your daily diet and eat walnuts for good hair. For bone pains take cal phos 6x, 5 tabs twice daily.
