Do these simple stretches regularly, atleast twice a day. While doing any stretch, as soon as you feel the stretch, hold for count of 5-10, and then return to starting position, repeat 10 times.

As far as the treatment as rheumatoid arthritis is considered please understand that it is an auto-immune disorder, whose treatment is not mentioned in principles in any treatment modalities. However, ayurveda along with panchakarma therapy (bio-purification) would certainly help the patient as this treatment will be at cellular level taking all the toxins away from the body at the same time bringing the inflammations also down from the body hence reducing the pain. The holistic approach is the best therefore to treat rheumatoid athritis.

I am 57 years old female. I have severe knee and legs pain from last 02 years. Suggest some treatment.

Pain leg is common. Kindly rule out diabetes & vitamin d deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Proper physiotherapy will help. Medicines will also be needed. Antioxidants like caldikind plus (from mankind) 1 tab /day helps. Paracetamol 250mg bd/tds will also give you relief kindly make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients of the brands you are going to take.

. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. ..Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag. Take 2 tab yograj guggul twice daily with water 30 min after meals.

Hello Dr. I am having too much pain in my runner knee coz I start running in morning from last week.
Hii As you have started running suddenly, the knee has begun to hurt. Its always advisable to start running slowly and then progress even more slowly over weeks. It takes time to achieve desired results. Do not increase the workload all of a sudden. Also, it is very important to do a proper warm up and stretches before starting your running. Cool down period after exercise is also very helpful in preventing pain. To know more about warm up and stretches you can consult me privately. You can meet a physio directly to have a detailed evaluation of your flexibility, strength etc. However its good that you have started running, keep going but slow and steady. Good luck.
