Dear lybrate-user, RCT is one of the last options a demtist will suggest to save the tooth. Like other treatments we take it also has a life. Usually if done well and cap placed over it the teeth will sarve you well for many years. There might arise a need for replacement of cap but not before 8-9 years. But once the process is done and the tooth remains problem free for long time, the treatment should be considered value for money spent. Nothing in medical science comes with a lifetime guarentee.

Kindly consult an orthodontist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations (model study, full mouth & profile x-ray) & clinical examination to decide upon treatment. To remove stains from your teeth you can opt for scaling. You can also try this remedy. Make a paste of lemon juice and soda bi carb. Rub on stained teeth gently once in a week and rinse properly

To avoid infection and reduce pain in a first-degree burn on the tongue: rinse the area well with cool water for a few minutes. Remove any dirt or particles that may be on the burn. Wet a clean cloth with cool water and hold it on top of the burn. Suck on ice chips or a popsicle to soothe the pain. Gargle with cool water or salt water. Avoid warm or hot liquids, which could irritate the burn. Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain and inflammation. Sprinkle a few grains of sugar on the tongue to relieve pain.

First of all undergo scaling (cleaning of teeth) by a dentist - use proper brushing technique. - brush twice a day which is most important (at night specifically just before sleep and avoid any food or liquid except water when you finish your brush at night) - after each meal (i. E breakfast, lunch, dinner and any time when you take snacks) rub your finger on all tooth surfaces inside and outside and than do forcefull gargles 2-3 times. Visit dentist every 4-5 months for the early diagnosis and prevention of dental diseases. Jay swaminarayan.

It could be the Wisdom Tooth. For temporary relief You can take pain killers but depending upon clinical evaluation if required, then Removal of the Tooth is Mandatory.

You can go for invasalign which are invisible braces. Or else get a cosmetic treatment where the doc would trim your crooked teeth n take the impression and get a new set of crowns which would be permanently fixed. I would suggest at this young an age you go in for ceramic braces or invasalign ones.

I have bad breath since 7 years. I have got tonsil stones since last year. My dentist says that my teeth are healthy. What to do.

I have bad breath since 7 years. I have got tonsil stones since last year. My dentist says that my teeth are healthy....
Bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: - practice good oral hygiene. - Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. - Don't forget to brush the tongue, too. - Replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. - Use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. - See your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. - Drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. - Chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.

You can’t brush every time you eat. But you sure can drink water or at least rinse your mouth with water every time you do so. Water neutralises the effects of acidic and sugary foods. Rinsing removes food particles left behind on/ between the teeth.

Chewing a sugarless gum after your meal for around 20 minutes freshens your breath and also make the leftover food particles cling to it.
