Hi lybrate-user •Eat your meals in a peaceful environment. Avoid eating when you are upset. •Eat slowly. Chew well. Stay conscious of the process. •Avoid heavy, greasy and spicy foods. •Honour your appetite. Eat when you feel hungry and stop when you are satiated. •Leave one-fourth of your stomach empty. •Sit quietly for a few minutes after finishing your meals. •Stay upright after eating. •Avoid smoking. •Avoid gas producing foods – heavy fried foods, excessive spices and chillies, papads/ legumes, milk products (if lactose intolerant). •Chew well. It is important to chew every bite of food 20 times. •Switch to de caf or restrict the intake of caffeine, by limiting tea/ coffee consumption to 2 cups a day. •Cut back on red meat consumption helps if you suffer from acidity. Lean meat such as chicken breast or fish, can take the place of acid-forming red meat. •Consult physician for medication (antacid) if problem persists. HOME REMEDIES Drink some water – As soon as you start feeling discomfort drink a glass of warm water. Ginger to relieve acidity – Make yourself a cup of ginger tea by mixing a teaspoon of freshly grated ginger root in a cup of boiling water. Let stand for 5 minutes and then drink. Chew a small cinnamon stick or chew 2 to 3 cardamoms help to relieve acidity . Avoid lying down immediately after meals – Eat at least two hours before bedtime. Mint infusion – Add fresh chopped mint leaves to a cup of boiling water. Let stand for a few minutes and sip slowly after meals. Cloves - Suck on a clove for natural acidity relief. Fennel (saunf) -Fennel is a digestive herb with many medicinal and culinary uses. It acts as a popular “after mint”.

My teeth is in yellow color

Now even though we know that we are born with pearly whites , y are our teeth yellowish. This is 1) Decidous or primary teeth or milk teeth are as suggest milky white in Color. 2) however our permanent or secondary teeth are not exactly milky white . They are in shades of yellow, grey , even red/ brown varying on genetics, the race, the continent or which part of the world you come from,the climate and environment etc. Second comes into play the oral hygiene, the dietary factors, the water used, any medications being taken .Etc which are not natural causes but man made .These could also affect the shade of the teeth. Yes the treatment would involve consulting me for routine oral prophylaxis , and maybe bleaching go teeth .

Dear user. PENILE PAIN could be due to Infections or inflammation of the bladder or prostate can also result in penile pain. Trauma, persistent erection (priapism), cancers, and Peyronie's disease (the development of scar tissue within the penis) are other causes. Sickle cell anemia may cause priapism due to blockages of small blood vessels in the penis. I suggest you to consult a doctor for physical investigation. Take care.

I have been experiencing constipation since the past 1 week. I have tried using ayurvedic laxatives like nityam churna but it did not work. I have also tried Milk of Magnesia. But it helps in a minimum capacity. I am taking fibre and fluids but nothing seems to work.

do u daily pass urine or stool,it is normal, in same way our testis stores the semen like (water tank), if u do not discharge u r semen either by masturbation or sex it is bound to overflow, which is normal, if some one would tell u don't pass urine or stool for 5 days will u be able to control, it will come out, same applies to semen

To increase weight increase eating.Eat food more frequently.Take dense vegetables,fruits.Use extra refined foods with unrefined foods.Use protein like fish,egg,meat etc.Add healthy fat in cooking.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Drink lots of water but not during meals.Take proper rest.These are simple but will be helpful.

Yes threading is not good because sometimes warts may form along with hair infection, you can easily go for laser hair reduction which costs around 2-5000/ per sitting depending on the area with very good results, see to it that laser is usfda approved, or you are most welcome in our clinic in janak puri.

Dear Lybrate user. Sex is always enjoyed if it is done with love, passion and affection. The love making time is important. It should be within 30 minutes. The more you try to extent it, the more you and your partner will be stressed and therefore the pleasure associated with orgasm will be simultaneously reduced. Therefore, limit the sexual performance to less than 30 minutes. Also keep in mind that you should provide 24 hours gap between two sexual intercourse. Sexual intercourse is not advised in the cases of stress, anxiety, physical fatigue, cough, cold etc. Take care.

We do not recommend supplements for weight gain. Eat a healthy and calorie-rich diet to gain weight. Eat 5 - 6 meals in a day. You can have aloo parthas /paneer sandwiches in breakfast, milkshakes around mid-noon, rice, 2 -3 chapatis, veg, salad, dal / curd in lunch and dinner. Include sweets, chocolates, nuts in between your meals.

Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.
