Treadmill is not good for your knees. Please run on softer ground. Change your shoes and use new running shoes if old shoes are more than 6 months old. Dr Prashant Parate. Shoulder and Knee specialist. .

Hello, kindly follow health advises given below: measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc. 5. Avoid wearing synthetic and tight cloths. 6. steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days Kindly go for CBC test and consult physician for further management and let me know what medicines you were taking and also tell me if you are having other symptoms like cough/ throat pain/ burning urine/ stomach pain so that we can confirm cause of fever.

Am I pregnant? Im 23 me and my husband TTC for 2 months. We had unprotected sex almost everyday and also on my ovulation days my next periods are coming on 7th april my cycle is always regular But from 2 days im feeling abdominal cramps (like menstrual cramps) with severe lower backache and I also feel so gassy and bloated all the time. Pain is mild to moderate but I can't sleep due to this discomfort. Today im feeling a little pressure on my left side of abdomen and it hurts a little when I deeply palpate it:/ I never ever had Pms so I think it's not pms.

Hi I think you may b right. But to be sure you need to wait till your periods date. And if you do not get periods you can do urine test at home. So many such kits are avalable at medical stores. You must have seen it on tv. One such kit is pregacare. And if that is positive you need to consult a gynecologist. You didnot mentioned whether you want to have pregnancy at present or not. If you want to have pregnancy that is good. But if you do not want to have pregnancy it is very important that you consult the gynecologist after your period date. Because if you go early you can have abortion by medicines. Bt if you go to gynecologist after 45 days of your last perion operation need to be done. So consult the gynecologist before that.

apply volini gel on neck, do warm fomentation. avoid high pillow, do neck exercises in pain free period. it will help you , if not ok in 3 weeks, do x ray cervical spine ap/lat. to see if any cervical problem.

Do physiotherapy. Also take rhus tox 200 - twice daily for 2-3 weeks. As this is a progressing disease and will take time to heal - you need to keep patience.

Hi, I have starting playing badminton right after my marriage and after few months, ,my knees and back pain started. Also I have check with doctor, he has suggested to take medicine and it will recover soon. But my knees pain is not going and sometimes pain is become unbearable at hamstring point. Kindly suggest what to do & what not. I still play badminton in the morning to make me fit Thanks.

Pain in knee joint at muscle attachment area involves fibrous tissue and ligaments. Some times bursitis and fluid collection also may occur there. Adequate rest and medication is needed for the complete restoration of health. Sudden catching pain may also comes in during playing. Do Simple sitting exercises and take rest for a period of one month. Take Rhua tox 200 twice daily before food and Mag phos 6x 3 tabs 1 hour after food 3 times in a day. Continue it for a period when feels better.

My father currently aged 70 years who has had a stoke few years back and over the last three months is not able to walk. Physiotherapy is being done at home but with very little improvement. Sir. My right knee' s flesh upper right flesh used to pain when I just simply touch it by pressing it. Sometimes in climbing stairs it pains. I refered to the doctor he says no arthritis but knee cap doesnt pain only flesh pain and it is little fluffy as compared to other knee' s flesh. Tell me what shuld I do is it serious?

Hi, your pain is due to muscle weakness of thigh. Concentrate on quadriceps, hamstring strengthening. If you plan to go to gym, its well and good. Do extension curls, ham curls and leg press, static cycling in gym. Icing for 10 mins by covering cloth over ice packs is very important to reduce pain. Check for any foot wear modification. Wear soft sole shoes / slippers.

Can't be given if you r diabetic. Calcaneal spur per se is not the cause of pain. It is the swelling of sole membrane known as plantar fasicitis. Self limiting process.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homoeopathic medicines are very helpful. Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps.
