Follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. Take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder with milk once a day.

Sleeping positions that reduce back pain

Sleeping positions that reduce back pain

Sleeping on your side

By making simple changes in your sleeping position, you can take strain off your back. If you sleep on your side, draw your legs up slightly toward your chest and put a pillow between your legs. Use a full-length body pillow if you prefer.

Sleeping on your back

If you sleep on your back, place a pillow under your knees to help maintain the normal curve of your lower back. You might try a small, rolled towel under the small of your back for additional support. Support your neck with a pillow.

Sleeping on your stomach

Sleeping on your stomach can be hard on your back. If you can't sleep any other way, reduce the strain on your back by placing a pillow under your pelvis and lower abdomen. Use a pillow under your head if it doesn't place too much strain on your back. If it does cause strain, try sleeping without a pillow under your head.

Don’t skip breakfast. Studies show that eating a proper breakfast is one of the most positive things you can do if you are trying to lose weight. Breakfast skippers tend to gain weight. A balanced breakfast includes fresh fruit or fruit juice, a high-fibre breakfast cereal, low-fat milk or yoghurt, wholewheat toast, and a boiled egg.

I have lower back pain since last 4 years. Please advice.

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS
Orthopedist,
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned a 4 yrs history of back pain which actually is quite long in terms of duration and requires extensive evaluation in form of x rays, mri scans etc. But if you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back, mri ls spine and few blood tests for evaluation. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

How to protect skin from pollution?

BHMS
Homeopath,
How to protect skin from pollution?
For getting healthy skin and also to protect the skin from pollution, follow below points: 1. The daily thing that is required to be done is to keep the skin clean with a kin cleansing product that suits one?s skin. Cleansing is the most fundamental part of a skin care process. Cleansing takes away the removes the dirt, pollutants and excessive oil that clog the pores from the epidermis. It leaves the skin free from blemishes. 2. water helps in cleansing the toxins out of the body and helps the cells to absorb the required nutrients. It also helps in making the digestive system run smoothly. The skin should be moisturised and hydrated. 3. Omega 3 boosts the protection of the skin. These essential fatty acids help to develop lipid based cell membranes that transport water and essential nutrients. These lipids form an oil shield on the skin that prevents the skin from the harm of ultra violet rays and pollutants. Omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids are best for the skin. Omega 6 is found in many foods like eggs, chicken, meat, grains, seeds and cooking oils. It is difficult to obtain omega 3. It is found in cold water fish like tout, salmon oysters and in walnuts, kidney beans and spinach. 4. Sun screen safe guards the skin from serious diseases like cancer and helps in preventing the signs of aging that can be caused by the rays of the sun. Skin that is overexposed to sun becomes dark, wrinkled and lacks flexibility. 5. Vitamins C and E are good antioxidants good for the skin. These antioxidants are present in all kinds of foods, like fruits, vegetables, sea foods and oils. There are many different antioxidants good for the skin. Vitamin C helps in keeping the skin fleshy and skin. It is found in whole grains, apples, oranges and all other citrus fruits. Vitamin E protects the cell membranes from devastation, they are found in wheat germ oil, mustard, spinach, broccoli and peanut butter.

Dear , alprazolam is an effective medication for treating generalized anxiety and panic disorders. Taking away xanax, alprazolam or any other benzodiazepine suddenly, especially in the case of an addicted person, can lead to consequences like insomnia, nausea, vomiting, headache etc. The withdrawal process takes time and is to be made systematically. Tapering is an effective method. You should get help from de-addiction center or psychiatrist for further advice. Take care.

There are many things you can do to keep yourself and your sperms healthy. These include: 1.     Avoid cigarettes and illicit drugs, especially anabolic steroids. 2.     Avoid exposure to toxins such as pesticides and heavy metals. 3.     Quit or at least limit your alcohol intake. 4.     Drink 3-4 litres of water per day. 5.     Have a healthy, nutritious diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. 6.     Exercise moderately, but regularly. 7.     Get sufficient rest. 8.     Keeping your scrotum cool, because heat slows sperm production; wear boxers instead of briefs, and avoid pants that are tight or restrictive. 9.     Prevent overheating of the testes by avoiding hot baths, Jacuzzis, steam rooms and using a laptop computer directly on your lap for long lengths of time.
