It is different for every individual what is normal for them. If you think what you are doing is wrong, then it is abnormal for you and it starts to affect your daily life. But if you think, there is nothing wrong in it, then it is normal for you. If you wish to not do it, then it is your personal choice and there is nothing abnormal with that.

Hello, you did not mention your sight number and now you are only 16 years old so please wait for few years after the age of 18 you can go Lasik eye surgery. Now you should wear specs and follow these exercises:- Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids.

Hi, take tab. Septillin 2-0-2 after food and rhinorin lehya 1 tsf twice daily followed by milk for 3 months continuously. Avoid cold and refrigerated food. Do steam inhalation twice daily. Avoid sweets and oil fried food. Perform pranayama daily in the morning for 10-15 mins.

How To Handle Sports Related Muscle Injuries.

Physical activity and sports related muscle injuries wear out our parts, and more aggressive activity wears our parts out more quickly. There are lots of examples in those who were professional athletes in their younger years. Despite this, exercise is one of the best therapies for almost everything. Even people with terminal cancer live longer and better if they exercise.

Fortunately, our body has tremendous ability to regenerate our parts. We can repair skinned knees, knit broken bones back together, and even regrow joint cartilage.



What causes the pain of chronic injury?

Most of the pain of sports related muscle injuries from repetitive strain and micro trauma is caused by muscle and fascia (myofascial pain) and not inflammation or scar tissue. Muscles develop pain generating myofascial develop trigger points, and tendons that attach the muscles develop small tears. Then when the muscle contracts against the injured tendon, the trigger points fire and pain prevents further injury.

How do we best treat sports related muscle injuries?

Dry needling, trigger point injections, and myofascial release are usually the most rapidly effective therapies for problems like tennis elbow, golfers? elbow, plantar fasciitis, and what is often called ?bursitis? in various locations. If trigger point injections are not enough, then the tendons and associated ligaments may also have to be treated.

How do we heal?

Our body uses the same mechanisms to heal many different parts. When we sprain an ankle, some of the ligaments that hold the joint together get torn or over-stretched. This injury sets off a reaction that takes weeks to complete.

Right after the injury inflammatory chemicals get released that make the nearby blood vessels leak fluid and white blood cells into the area of injury. This makes the ankle swell, and the white blood cells release enzymes that clean up the inured tissue. As a result of this ?soup,? about 3 days after injury fibroblast cells find their way to the injury. These cells rebuild and regrow the injured ligaments.

What stops healing?

The healing process is greatly slowed or stopped by anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen, and also nicotine in the blood. Ice slows metabolism and healing also.



How long does the healing process take?

The process of healing continues for several weeks, and even months. Broken bones and injured ligaments reach approximately 90% of strength in 6 weeks.

What can be done to accelerate healing?

Most important is to get out of the way of our body, stopping smoking and not taking anti-inflammatory medications. Next is to take extra vitamin C and zinc. Studies on wounded soldiers showed the importance of vitamin C and zinc in healing. Lastly, consider applying moist heat to increase blood and nutrient supply and speed up metabolism in the area of injury.

What if I do not heal enough, how can I get more?

Examples of not healing enough include loose joints after sprains, and partially torn tendons. For both of these examples, we can get our body to ?rerun? the same healing program if we simply re-injure the body part. A controlled and tiny injury can be made with an acupuncture needle, an injection of dextrose and novocaine (prolotherapy), and most effectively with an injection of your own platelet rich plasma. Once the body?s healing program is restarted, fibroblast cells will come in 3 days to start rebuilding the injured part. Acupuncture provides for the weakest body reaction and slowest healing, compared to the use of platelet rich plasma.

Normal duration of periods is 28 to 35 days. I advise you to do slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning for mental strength. Take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take lots of water and fluids. Follow this and give feedback.

Follow these important tips to get fair colour of skin * avoid to go in strong sunlight and if you have to go in sunlight then cover your face & exposed parts of body before going in sunlight. * Use sunscreen having SPF 15 on face especially in summer and spring season. * Take vitamin -E rich foods like dry fruits, egg and fish as you like. You can take cord liver oil capsule daily. * Take more anti oxidant foods like fruits (Apple, grapes, melon) and citrus fruits. * Make paste of Papaya and apply this paste on face & exposed body parts and leave it for 15 minutes. It brightens the skin and lower melanin content. For fair skin: • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water Once a week. • Drink 2-3 liters of water everyday to get hydrated & glowing skin. • Mash half banana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water.

DEAR Lybrate USER. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …6) avoid coffee and tea…. A) take 30ml of triphala juice and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2-2 tablets of lakshyadi guggul and vasantkusumakar rasa early in the morning on empty stomach with triphala juice…. C) take 10 gm of black cumin seeds along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals…. D) apply equal quantity mixture of fresh lemon juice and aloe vera juice on the roots of hairs…. Leave it for 30-45 minutes…. After that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurveda)…… do all things for 30 days. These things are much more effective. Consult to me for further suggestion. THANKS.

Dear lybrate-user. I can understand. Masturbation is normal, natural and never unhealthy. Even animals do masturbate. As a human being, you are also an animal. Every animal has sexual instinct because they are designed to reproduce. Human being also has sexual instinct and therefore he needs to satisfy sexual instinct. Therefore, to satisfy sexual instinct, a man or woman, masturbates. In any case, masturbation is never unhealthy or will never affect your physical or sexual health or it cannot affect your future sex life and the ability to have children. Masturbation cannot affect your growth or cause pimples or cause hair fall or cause shrinkage of penis or loss of vital nutrients etc. Masturbation cannot increase your belly fat or cause obesity. You should try to reduce the masturbation frequency to thrice a week and continue masturbation. You can be sure; there are no side effects to masturbation if you are able to restrict it to thrice a week. Jogging and physical exercise are always good to keep you fit and stop worrying about sex and allied thinking. I suggest online sex counseling and therapy. Take care.

If it is stomach pain the baby may pull on the abdomen and try to lie on abdomen and you have to understand that babies often cry when they are hungry or napkin is wet / when they feel to pass urine and motion and crying by infants is always not due to pain as most mothers think. Next, if you give bottle feed you have to stop and burp well after each breastfeed and for gas in stomach you can give Colicaid drops which is herbal and safe.

Hi. Let me you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent which is called 'Hairloss' rather and leads to bald areas of smooth and shiny surface. In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up which subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or hairloss- hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger any other underlying diseases, etc. Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smooking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day and Lycopodium 200/ one dose once a week - both for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness). Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.
