I have sinus allergy, I had operate inside nose and remove polyps, still many times I have problem woth brathing and nose close, headace, eyes acing, eritating, please guide me for permenant solution.

DNB (ENT), MBBS
ENT Specialist, Bangalore
Hi Polyps are known to recur even after surgery. Especially if post operative nasal steroid sprays are not taken regularly. It is recommended that you get yourself evaluated by an ent to see if the polyps have recurred. In the mean time use solspre nasal spray, 2 puffs in both nasal cavities, 3-5 times a day for 3 weeks.

Hi. Take homoeopathic medicine - schwabe's alpha-nc and alpha-cf - both thrice daily for 4 days. Use bakson's nasal-aid spray/ 1-2 sprays after every 4 hours. Management: - avoid cold drinks and fried food, take healthy food. -avoid exposure to air-conditioner or cold air. -take steam-inhalation once before going to bed. -take enough sleep and rest.

I am age 22, height 5.8 and weight 75. I have had sinus earlier, for which I got operated too back in 2015. From then, I avoid all chilled eateries. Recently I got detected with increased easnophiles. I took medication for that n got treated. Right now, even though I follow not having freeze foods and also keep myself safe from dust, i am being effected with chest congestion, every now and then. What can be an appropriate issue regards my health?

Diploma - Diploma - OLO - Rhino-Laryngology
ENT Specialist, Warangal
Hello, Having Increased Eosinophil Count is indicative of Allergic response of your body towards an Allergen (Substance causing Allergy) You might only be knowing that you are allergic to cold foods, Dust. But there might also be something else you are allergic to and you haven't been noticing that yet. It might be some particular agent which may even be in your food that take like Brinjal, Tomato, Ladyfinger, Cabbage etc. Better get a "patch test" done. This is a test that is used to determine the Allergic substance which you may be allergic to. But consult a Doctor before and get examined, Evaluated properly in an order.

MBBS, Diploma In Tropical Medicine Health, MRCP(UK)
Allergist/Immunologist, Hyderabad
Dear Mr. lybrate-user, If you are suffering from dust allergy for 3 years and routine treatment so far did not help you pleasesee an Allergist .He can give you IMMUNOTHERAPY which is the state of the art treatment and quite effective. It consists of giving allergy vaccine injetions against dust, it very effective and injections are almost painless. You should have no problem finding allergists in Gurgaon.

He has to consult a chest specialist to see the reason for cough. It could be because of some infection in the lungs or allergic airways problem such as asthma,
