I many times feel very low with bp I am 23 years old and weight 55 my bp is 60 /100 If I take medicine I feel like vomiting, I also facing lot of weakness in the body even my white gets more discharge I feel tired also very fast please suggest me what to do?

M. Sc. Foods, Nutrition & Dietetics, B.Sc-Home Science
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Visakhapatnam
Low blood pressure is the medical condition characterized by a blood pressure below the set normal levels. This means that the patient has a systolic BP of 90 mm Hg or less. The patient could also have a diastolic BP of 60 mm Hg or less. Having either of these two conditions makes a patient hypotensive or having a low blood pressure. When the patient has problems with low blood pressure, he/she should consider these dietary tips to help keep the body fit and healthy: To treat low blood, a fresh fruit diet is suggested. The patient is only allowed to eat all fresh fruit meals every five hours for five days straight. The next stage would be to add fresh milk to the fruit diet and this is to go on for a couple of weeks. A balanced diet of vegetables, fruits, seeds, grains, and nuts is then worked into this routine for better health. Another way to treat low blood pressure with the use of food is to increase the person’s intake of protein-rich foods and vitamin B complex and vitamin C rich foods as well. Many of the foods that are prohibited in people with high blood pressure are often beneficial in those who have low blood pressure. The patient only has to make sure to eat healthy and use common sense to determine if a certain food item is safe or not to eat. Keeping oneself properly hydrated is essential in keeping low blood pressure away as well as in treating it. Since dehydration can cause low blood pressure, it is important for a person to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day to help keep dehydration from happening. Take personalised dietary advice. Thanku.

Erect time my penis upper front skin not moving, this time very tight or not flexible, What I do,

BHMS
Homeopath,
Dear lybrate user, you may be suffering from a clinical condition called phimosis. The most conventional method to get rid of it is surgery. However, if you are unwilling to undergo surgery then you can try the following process at home. 1) buy any local anaesthetic gel (e. G. Lidocaine, lignocaine, xylocaine) from allopathic retail shop. 2) apply a little amount of that anaesthetic gel at the lower part of the prepuce of penis where the foreskin remains attached. 3) after application of the gel, retract the foreskin backwards as far as you can. Due to the anaesthetic property of the gel you will be able to retract the foreskin backwards to some extent more than you can do in normal condition. 4) release the foreskin when you feel pain 5) again repeat the same process. Do it continuously for at least 30 minutes in a day. Within a month you will feel that your foreskin has become loose.

Darkening behind neck ? Sign of Diabetes?

MBBS, Diploma in Diabetology
Endocrinologist, Mumbai
Darkening behind neck ? Sign of Diabetes?
Many overweight & obese people have darkening behind neck, darkening in armpits and other parts of body with creases and folds like elbows, knees, knuckles, etc. which is commonly mistaken as smudge of dirt or uncleanliness or lack of hygiene. Some people think that it is due to repeated friction caused by necklace or chains etc. In fact it is a sign of diabetes which is already developed or going to develop.

This darkening is due to excessive cell growth & differentiation of fibroblasts caused by excess of insulin in the body especially in obese individuals and type 2 diabetes patients.

In obese individuals and type 2 diabetes patients excess amount of fat especially abdominal fat (tummy fat) causes resistance to action of insulin secreted by pancreas and hamper its action. In return body produces more and more insulin from pancreas to keep blood sugar under control. This excess amount of insulin secreted by body promotes this skin cell growth and which leads to acanthosis nigricans.

After producing excess amount of insulin pancreas start exhausting and which leads to developing diabetes.

At this stage diabetes can be prevented by simple lifestyle modification & moderate weight loss.

I am not able to hear anything by birth. Is it curable and how much is the approximate cost.

Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (B.A.S.L.P)
Audiologist, Delhi
If you r not able to hear from birth, it is due to infection or any other reason during maternal conception of your mother. And it can be prevented by the use of high power digital hearing aid or cochlear implant surgery, if there is total absence of hair cells in the organ of corti or inner ear. It may costs around @10 lakh in both ear. So get your ear checked first and then go for either hearing aid or surgery according to your report or audiologists recommendation.

Im 37 years old, How to increase sperm motility? What are the natural foods that increases sperm count and motility.

PGD IN ULTRAASONOGRAPHY, Non invasive cardiology course, MD - Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Narnaul
Super Food to Increase Sperm Count 1. Eggs Eggs are considered a great option to increase sperm count, as well as improve their motility. High in vitamin E and full of protein, eating eggs protect sperm cells from the free radicals that can decrease your count. These nutrients assist in the production of strong and healthy sperm, which is important to fertility. 2. Spinach Folic acid is vital to the development of healthy sperm. Spinach and other types of leafy green vegetables are a rich source of this vitamin. When your folate levels are low, there is a greater chance you will produce malformed sperm. This will lead to sperm that will have a hard time reaching the egg and penetrating its protective barrier. Also, there is a greater chance of birth defects because of the faulty sperms chromosomal abnormalities. 3. Bananas Bananas are full of vitamin A, B1 and C, which help your body produce healthier sperm, as well as increase your sperm productivity. This tropical fruit also contains a rare enzyme called Bromelain. This is a natural anti-inflammatory enzyme which also boosts sperm count and motility. 4. Dark Chocolate Dark chocolate is often associated with lust filled rendezvous. Strawberries dipped in chocolate next to a glass of champagne on a bedside table greet many a guest during their honeymoon. What you probably didn't know is dark chocolate is great for your sperm count as well. It contains an amino acid called L-Arginine HCL known to increase semen volume and sperm count. It has also been rumored to increase orgasm intensity. 5. Asparagus Another food to increase sperm count is the green vegetable called asparagus. Super high in vitamin C, it has a wide range of positive effects on your sperm. It protects the cells of your testicles and fights free radicals, allowing for greater sperm production of healthy swimmers. 6. Broccoli Besides asparagus, another green vegetable full of folic acid is broccoli. Folic acid, also known as vitamin B9, is already known to help women conceive and is now becoming more recognized as important in male fertility. In one study, men taking a daily dose increased their sperm count by as much as 70%. 7. Pomegranates This delicious fruit is known as a powerful food to increase sperm count and improve semen quality. It is full of antioxidants that fight free radicals in the blood stream. Unchecked, they can destroy semen and significantly decrease your sperm count. The juice of pomegranates has been recorded throughout history as being used as a fertility booster. 8. Walnuts Walnuts are full of omega-3 fatty acids that help boost sperm volume and production by increasing blood flow to the testicles. It is also full of arginine, known to increase semen volume. It contains twice as much antioxidants than another nuts, helping you fight toxins in your blood stream. 9. Garlic Garlic is known around the world as a food good for boosting immunity. Among its many properties are vitamin B6 and selenium, both of which play roles in healthy sperm production. Taken by many for its blood cleansing abilities, garlic prevents buildup in arteries and allows for better blood flow to your testicles. 10. Zinc Rich Foods Foods rich in zinc include barley, red meat, beans, etc. Zinc plays a vital role in sperm development. The mineral is found in high concentrations in testicles during the production of healthy, strong semen. So important is zinc, deficiencies of the mineral has been blamed for low sperm motility. It is important to note you can have too much zinc so it is imperative to regulate your intake to about 15 mg per day.

Homeopath, Sindhudurg
Piles and homoeopathy
Piles (haemorrhoids) are swollen and inflamed blood vessels (veins) in the rectum and anus. Piles are broadly classified as follows:
External: piles that are outside the anal verge
Internal: piles that occur inside the rectum
Causes of piles-
These include the following:
Genetic predisposition (weak rectal veins, walls)
Poor muscle tone in the rectal region
Constipation
Obesity
Sedentary lifestyle
Chronic cough
Pregnancy
Overuse of laxatives or enemas
Lifting heavy weights habitually

Symptoms of piles:
Symptoms vary depending upon the site of piles, duration of complaints and general health of the person.
External piles present as a swelling outside the anus with irritation and itching. These can be painful sometimes and usually do not bleed.
Internal piles are usually not painful but these bleed when they are irritated such as during the passage of hard stools. They can be classified into four grades:
Grade 1 piles are small swellings on the inside lining of the anus. They cannot be seen or felt from outside the anus.
Grade 2 piles are partly pushed out (prolapse) from the anus when you go to the toilet, but quickly'retract back' inside again.
Grade 3 piles hang out (prolapse) from the anus and are felt as one or more small, soft lumps that hang from the anus. However, they can be pushed back inside the anus with a finger.
Grade 4 piles permanently hang down from within the anus, and cannot be pushed back inside. They can sometimes become quite large.
Some of the other symptoms generally associated with piles are:
Protrusion of piles outside the anus; this usually occurs after defecation, prolonged standing or unusual physical exertion

Bleeding from the anus: this can occur before, during or after stools. This will be bright red blood, not usually mixed with the stools, but often seen on the toilet paper.
Soreness, pain, itching in the anal region
In case of profuse bleeding that is chronic, the patient may be anemic
Sensation of something coming down, or a bulge or lump at the anus
If the piles outside the anus develop a blood clot inside, (thrombosed piles) it leads to a particularly tender, hard lump
Homoeopathic piles treatment:-
Homeopathic medicines are very effective in management of piles and the symptoms associated with it such as pain, bleeding, itching, etc. The point to be emphasized is that the relief of symptoms is obtained with absolute gentleness and without invasion or surgery of any kind. Moreover, the condition has high relapse rate following surgical treatment, since surgery does not target the root causes like genetic tendencies, habitual constipation, etc. Homeopathic medicines work at the root level and can modify these genetic tendencies thus reducing chances of relapse and recurrence of the condition significantly.
