I am facing problem with oily skin .so please suggest one medical soap for me to control oil skin.
Oily skin is not a bad thing. And you should not be trying to treat it unless it causes you lots of acne problem. However, you can simply use a face spray or mist every 2-3 hours to make your skin look fresh and non oily.

I want my skin tone to become light without using any chemicals or drugs. What I should do?
The 5 Home Remedies: facial maskMashed Banana Cream – Mashed ripe bananas can be smeared on the face and left on for three to four minutes before rinsing. This gives the face a healthy glow. Oatmeal Turmeric Lemon Mask – A thick paste for facial mask can be made by mixing oatmeal powder, some lemon juice, and a pinch of turmeric. The paste is left on the face until dry and then washed off with water. Wheat Flour Paste – This paste removes excess oil from the face. Mix two tablespoons of wheat flour with just enough water to give it a thick consistency. Apply it in an upward motion. After drying on the face, you just rinse it off with cold water. Rose Water – Soak rose petals in clean water for a day, and then use the water to wash your face or even your entire body. There is no need to use soap. Fresh Aloe Vera Gel – Apply the gel on your skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then wash it with water. This removes oil and dead skin, gives moisture, and reduces wrinkles on the face.

Hair Transplant - The FUE Technique!

MBBS, MS Surgery
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Delhi
Hair Transplant - The FUE Technique!

Hair transplant is a surgical procedure that is used to move hair follicles from one location in the body to another. The part from which the hair follicles are taken is known as the “donor site” and the location where it is moved to is called the “recipient site”. Patients who undergo hair transplants often come across the terms FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction).

Follicular Unit Extraction is a procedure which involves the singular extraction of each hair follicle without any removal of strip of tissue. Random removal of hair follicle takes place which causes minimal and unnoticeable changes in the donor area. Fewer amounts of hair are transplanted as the follicles are removed one at a time which makes it beneficial for the removal of lesser hair as compared to the traditional FUT procedure.

The Procedure

In FUE, singular removal of hair follicles is done using specialized equipment that generally consists of a needle which has a diameter less than one mm. The needle is targeted at the base of the hair follicles. At this spot, a circular incision is made. Another instrument, similar to tweezers, is used to dislodge the hair follicle from the scalp.

Post- Surgery Management:

Stretches are not needed in Follicular Unit Extraction. Additionally, there is almost no post procedural discomfort. Since the occurrence of any scar is absent, healing time is generally less. However, puncture marks which have a diameter of 1 mm or less are common. These marks heal by themselves within 3 to 7 days. It takes three to six months for the hair to look natural once again. The initial scars heal quickly and daily activities can be resumed the very next day.

Advantages:

Perspective of the surgeon:

  1. Lesser manpower, when compared to FUT, is needed i.e. a single doctor with a maximum of two assistants can run a clinic.
  2. Lesser equipment is needed.
  3. Graft preparation is minimal.

Perspective of the Patient:

  1. Can sport short hair.
  2. Less post-operative recovery time.
  3. Microscopic scars in the donor site are nearly invisible.
  4. Body hair can be used for added density only in this technique.
  5. Can be used to cover pre-existing scar of surgery.

Facial Hair - 6 Ways That Can Help You Manage It!

Facial Hair - 6 Ways That Can Help You Manage It!

Facial hair in women can be an embarrassing and touchy subject. While people may notice it and avoid speaking about it, the stare that lasts for just a second longer on your face will be uneasy. It is time you get rid of it and stop grabbing more attention than you need:

1. Hide it: Some of the most common methods to hide facial hair are bleaching, threading, waxing, depilation or electrolysis. Each of these methods have their advantages and disadvantages. Bleaching, for example, masks the hair for a while and gives it a golden tinge which still makes it less visible. Threading or waxing has to be undertaken at periodic intervals and both may result in thicker hair growth in the surrounding areas. Women who are regular with their body care regimen can try these methods.

2. Destroy it: Use a tweezers to pull it out: This one mostly works on the instinct that you get when you see the hair. It works if you don't have too much hair and just a couple here and there that can be easily pulled out. Sterilize the tweezers with alcohol to avoid infection. You will have to grip near the root and give a firm pull to get rid of the whole thing. It is painful but if done right it can last 3-8 weeks before its replacement shows up.

3. Shave it: Yes, women do it too. Apply a shaving gel or foam and use a disposable razor to clip the hair. Though this is relatively less painful, hair growth afterwards is quite fast so you'll have to be careful to add it to your schedule often enough.

4. Try natural methods: It is slow but cheap and reliable. The visible effects of using natural ingredients for hair removal happens only over a period of time but the results are well worth the wait. Turmeric powder is an ancient remedy for facial and body hair - so much so that Indian brides follow a traditional 'haldi' routine before their wedding. Other natural ingredients you can try include gram flour (besan) and sugar was. You can also give a good rub with a pumice stone.

5. Try Electrolysis: It is the only permanent method but is tedious and requires multiple sessions. It is usually recommended if there are few thick hair limited to one part of body. In this method hair root is destroyed with the help of thin metallic probe connected to a  machine through which electricity is delivered to hair roots.

6. Try a laser treatment: Laser is one of the most effective treatments for unwanted body hair. The bright beams of heat and light from the laser directly reaches the roots of the hair, removing it and preventing re-growth for a fair period of time. The downside is that it'll take a few months and prove to be expensive but the results can be well worth the wait as it can permanently remove hair. You may also need multiple sittings to destroy the hair growth completely. If peace of mind is your criteria, then go for it.

If excessive hair is stopping you from living and enjoying your life, consult a professional who can help you find a way. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
