Proper knowledge as how to use your computer, can prevent grat discomfort experienced by many patients. Hello lasik is very good option to get rid of glasses doctor will perform few tests (schirmer test, pentacam and fundus examination) and if all tests are normal then you can go for lasik surgery without fear. Success rate of lasik is over 96%. Side effects may vary from minimal like mild dryness, dalk, haloes, glare to severe like infection (very rare). Precaution include: a. Avoid face/head wash for 1 week b. Avoid swimming /water sports for 6 weeks c. Avoid eye make up for 6 weeks cost: depends on type of lasik which varies from 25000 for standard lasik to 1.10 lacs for smile lasik for more details, you can read my health tip on lasik.

Eye irritation and burning. Wats best resolution. As I am working n continuous front of system.

Eye irritation and burning. Wats best resolution. As I am working n continuous front of system.
Computer screen is made up of hundreds of tiny pixels that are constantly moving. Our eyes in turn are not naturally able to set focus on these constantly moving pixels, and hence we try to focus on an area behind the actual screen. Therefore, while watching on a creen, our eyes need to keep on fluctuating focus between their natural point of focus and the pixels on the screen. And this tires the eyes and causes a lot of wear and tear.As a result, we suffer from irritation, which may range from a number of things like headaches, dry eyes, watering eyes,, blurred vision, problems in focusing and faulty color perception, to something as severe as glaucoma. Moreover it is more distressing for our eyes to view contents on a screen which requires even more concentration and extenive usage of eyes without blinking thus causing Eye dryness and Redness making them vulnerable to frequent Eye problemss. . The solution for this problem I its reduced usage of TV andd computers and use them inproper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the computer screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of computer usage or take frequent breaks. Homoeopathic medicine R-78 Drops ( Dr reckeweg) Drink 10 drops 3 times daily in 20 ml fresh water CINERIA MARITINA EYE DROPS( Dr Reckeweg) without alcohol.Pour 2-3 drops in both eyes 3 times daily. Dont splash water on eyes.

Hello, if diabetes is in control, then fasting should be closer to 100 mg and pp 150 to 160 mg and hba1c% <6.8. If you are fit and sugar levels are normal there is no need to feel any of these symptoms. If possible you should move away from the chair after each 30 minute period for about 2 - 3 minutes, that should reduce the strain. Stand up or just walk a few steps. Learn relaxing techniques and use them at the end of the day so as to relieve all the stress.

Hi, any activity that requires intense use of the eyes -- such as extended amounts of driving or reading -- can cause eye fatigue. These include extended periods of: reading writing driving exposure to bright light or straining to see in dim light can also cause eye fatigue. One of the most common causes of eye fatigue is staring for long periods at digital devices such as: computer screens smartphones video games during sleep, the eyes are replenished with essential nutrients. Lack of sleep may result in persistent eye irritation. Management: give sufficient rest to your eyes with proper sleep. Keep yourself hydrated with intake of 10-12 glasses of water in a day. Eat healthy especially vitamin a rich food (green vegetables, carrots, yellow fruits and vegetables) and avoid junk food. Hold tap water in your flexed palm, dip your one eye closer to the water level, shut and open your eyelids often. Do the same with your other eye. Repeat this whole process 1-2 times more in a day. Give your eyes proper rest. Can keep slices of cucumber or potato or used tea bags over the closed eyes for sometime. Medication: instill 2 drops of euphrasia eye drops in each eye twice daily.

You need to drink energizing drinks for that like lemon juices, glucose biscuits, etc. Try this for 3-4 days. If this does not work, then consult an ophthalmologist for this. This is important, might affect your studies.

Take your dinner at least 3 hours before sleep time. Maintain a fixed time for going to bed. Do not see exciting, horror, serials and films before sleep. Read a book like gita, ramayan, etc just before bed time. Drink a glass of milk before going to bed. Wash your feet with cold water before bed time. If you are not doing any exercise start now. Sleep for six to eight hours and not more.

Please follow the tips below to feel better: Wear anti-glare spectacles while using a computer. Practice the 20/20/20 exercise. Every 20 minutes, focus/look at an object that's at least 20 feet away, for 20 seconds. Blink often when you are watching TV or working on your computer. Decrease the brightness level of your computer’s/mobile phone’s screen .Don't decrease it so much that you have trouble seeing. Minimize watching television. Use UV protection sun glasses when out in the sun. You can also use artificial tear eye drops (E.g. Refresh) every 2- 3 hours to keep the eyes moist. Make sure you get at least 7 hours of sleep every night.
