I am 24 years female. My height is 5'7" and my body weight is 69. I do exercises regularly. I maintain proper diet. Morning I used to have 1 cup of green tea, fruits or oats. Afternoon, a bowl of rice and 2 chapathis. Night time, 1 chapati and a cup of mill without sugar.Weekly twice I used to have either fish or chicken and sometimes egg. But for past 2 year I couldn't find any difference in my body weight. Either I am increasing 1 kg or decreasing 1 kg. I daily do walking for 1 hour and do some exercises. . But I couldn't find any difference. I feel like I am losing my weight but when I am checking the weight it's same. I don't know what to do? Please advise. .

Hii, You need to tweak your diet or exercise cause both can plateau and you won't budge a gram. Also if you are gaining muscle mass and losing fat it will not show on scale as a loss. Also chances are you are losing out on your muscle mass due to incorrect eating and/or exercise, in which case you may feel you are losing weight. Never base your plans on daily weight on scale. It's what you lose or gain in the end that matters.

Dear, you can easily gaim weight by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like milk powder, soya protein for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy

You are late in consulting me. If you r really desperate to increase yr height I can recommend you some very good homoeopathic medicines for 3 months. If in this time your height increases by even half of an inch, I will immediately start some aggressive nd very effective homoeopathic treatment after 3 months of this initial treatment. Let me know the height of yr parents nd when was the last time you noticed an increase in your height.

One of the reasons that insomnia is high stress levels and time pressures associated with modern living. Many people complain of insomnia, with stress during the day making them too tense or worried to be able to fall asleep at night. Lack of sleep, in turn, creates more stress on the job and at home. However, it is important to know at the outset that not all people require the same amount of sleep. Sleeping cycles vary among people and throughout a person’s life. Insomnia mainly results due to mental disturbances. Any type of body pain, uncomfortable weather or surroundings, some disease also results in to insomnia. Eating, sleeping, working, and exercising at the same hours promotes harmony. By varying routines with the seasons, you can better adjust to changes in the environment and climate. I got pregnancy of 10 weeks I got abortion pills too how can I use it my age is 26.

MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Medical abortion is advisable only upto 7 weeks pregnancy. If pregnancy is>7 weeks surgical abortion is advisable. If you will take the medical abortion pills you will have excessive bleeding ,which may be very risky ,secondly chances of incomplete abortion are very high. If this pregnancy is unwanted then consult a gynaecologist in person and go for surgical abortion.

I am having a habit of sleeping for nearly 2 hours after lunch. How to control. And what are the effects of it?

DNB (ENT), MBBS

I am having a habit of sleeping for nearly 2 hours after lunch. How to control. And what are the effects of it?
Hi, Sleeping after lunch is because of the stretching of the stomach leading to trigger of the nerve called vagus. This makes you sleepy. 30-45 minute power nap is more beneficial than a 2 hour sleep. The 2 hour sleep immediately after food may lead to acid reflux, dry cough and sore throat.
