Fact: If you need glasses or contacts for distance or reading, use them. Not wearing your glasses will strain your eyes and tire them out instead of resting them. However, it will not worsen your vision or lead to eye disease.

The solution for this problem is its reduced usage and while using computor use in proper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects. Hi boil 1 ripe banana in 1 cup of milk, mash well. Take 3-4 times a day. Make an ointment by mixing an equal amount of powdered long pepper and turmeric with milk (preferably cow’s milk). Apply this on the external piles. Take arshantak vati 1-1 twice a day with warm water. And take pranacharya pilescure capsule 1-1 twice a day. And abhayarishta 2-2 tsf twice a day. Apply pranacharya pilescure ointment on anal region. If stomach is not clear them take virechan churna 1 tsf in warm water before night. Take fresh buttermilk early morning. Avoid spicy food. Dear lybrate-uservery good question. You See uric acid is a by product or breaking doennof certain molecules in the body. Especially it is acomponent of break down of cells. Normally our body is a perfect machine which is efficiently able to throw out this uric acid. Uric acid can increase if there is excessive intake of products that produce it like alcohol, spinach, red meat etc. Or if the enzymes that are used to process it are deficient. Or if the kidneys are not working, as uric acid is excreted through kidneys. Acute hyperuricemia can cause severe pain and swelling in a single joint. Most commonly it affects the great toe. Avoiding alcohol, red meat; drinking plenty of water are some of the ways to avoid it. Regards.

HI If you are getting tanned then please start using sunsreen lotion above spf 30 .Include citrus fruits and salads in your diet for complexion.Don't use any bleaching agents for skin.Apply plain cream or lotion which doesn,t have harsh chemicals.Take medicine R-60 drops (Dr Reckweg ,Germany) 10drops in 1/4cup of water drink twice a day ,1/2 an hour before meals.

Dear Doctor .I need an advice regarding my sugar management as below -- I was noticed with PP sugar of 206 in Jan 2014 and fasting at 120. My HBa1c parameter was at 6.5. I was given Sugamet MC for almost nine months and testing was done every three months. Now -- 1.With sugamet MC 500 once a day my HBa1c is 5.6 and also the fasting sugar and PP sugar is with in normal book limits. 2.I stopped sugamet mc 500 3 months back. Now my parameters are as below -- HBa1c parameter is 6.0. Fasting sugar is 111 and PP sugar is 160 My question is --- 1.When I am in normal limits (ofcourse its near the upper limit) without medicine. Should I still take the medicine? 2.Is taking metformin preventive in nature? I mean taking Sugamet mc 500 still will prevent my sugar metabolism from worsening further? I am a regular exerciser. I spend one hour in a gym doing muscle and weight training exercises. Alternate days I go for fast walk for 2kms with stretching exercises. Its my regular routine. Diet Control ----I am on a strict diet regime. Artificial sugar in any form is out of my food list for past one year. Be it tea/coffee/milk/icecreams/sweets /cold drinks/ sharbats etc. I am consuming minimum qty of potatots and other vegetables etc which are forbidden to control sugar level. I am trying to live by book. I take oats / almonds and nuts as me breakfast before exercise. After coming from gym I take whey protein shake. Then I take my lunch at 11:30-12:00. I take mild snacks at around 5:00 p.M. Dinner is around 9:00 p.M. And Ofcourse half an hour walk after dinner daily. I am a strict vegetarian. Pls advise if I shd continue with medicine or not. Regards

You should continue medicine.It will keep your diabetes under control along with multiple benefits .Medicine which you are taking is anti obesity,anti cancer,anti aging,anti athrogenic,Moreover drug is being used now a days to prevent diabetes.If you continue drug , you will postpone traditional drugs.

Dark circles can be quite difficult to treat. Hereditary seems to play a significant role. In allergy prone individuals, a condition or state of'atopy' exists & these atopic individuals more often than not manifest with'dark circles' under the eyes. It also depends a lot on your lifestyle pattern- diet, sleep, computer / tv use and stress. Stressors/ strain due to working for long hours on computers & lack of sleep play a major role too. Dark circles due to thin under eye skin, the thin skin makes the blood vessels under the skin very prominent and hence this appears dark. You could benefit from using a cream containing vitamin k and retinol (ega cream). Use it once a day for at least 3 months to notice a difference. Another important cause of undereye dark circles is iron deficiency anemia. As can be judged from some of the reasons cited, good hydration, regular 6-8 hours of sleep, addressing stressors and a multivitamin and iron supplement by themselves will go a long way in correcting this issue. Skin lightening cream containing glycolic acid, kojic acid, vit c can be helpful in reducing the appearance of dark circles. Glycolic acid and arginine peels are the two commonly used peels by dermatologists for undereye dark circles. You can try a few peeling sessions (6-8 sessions). Apply adaple c gel over pimples and let me know the response.

I have thin hair for a girl. I am 20 now, but have been continuously losing large amount of hair for over 5 years now. I have so thin hair all around my head. I feel shy when people look at my hair. It's long but thin. I have consulted dermatologist and hair expert. I was not happy with their advice. Dermatologist asked me to clean my scalp and in doing so, I lose more hair. I wash my hair every couple of days and do not go out often in dust. Hair expert suggested a cream for my scalp but I haven't tried it. I am very much tensed and my confidence level has gone so low when in from of folks.

Lot of things to do. Soaps vil dry out your skin, so they r an absolute no. No vigorous rubbing of skin on face or body. Before bath, oil body with any oil be it coconut, olive. Use a soap free body wash or a dermatologically tested medical soap. After bath, pat dry within three minutes and apply moisturiser. Include dry fruits like almond, walnuts, figs, groundnuts. Have plenty of salmon, mackerel and sardine. Drink two litres of water. Have roasted flaxseeds. Avoid alcohol and aerated drinks or they vil dehydrate u more.Use loose cotton clothes. Avoid woollen clothes directly on body. Use it over cotton clothes if required.

You can't change this timing so work around it. Avoid heavy meals late at night. Try to have your dinner early. Later at night try and have a very light snack or meal and early morning you can have a fruit or milk or dry fruits. Have a healthy breakfast. Sleep well after an hour of breakfast. Try to do some yoga or walking etc at least thrice a week or whenever you get time. Avoid fasting for long or feasting late into the night. If you manage a discipline you can avoid major health issues.
