Dear sir My son is suffering from tonsil problem since a long time and he is getting best treatment from the Doctor. But as the treatment completed the same problem comes within fifteen days or a month later. So you are requested to advise the best treatmebnt for my son.Age of my son is about ten years. Thanking you Best regards.

HI Recurrent Tonsils Infections are very common in small kids . Avoid giving him outside food , outside cold drinks or fruits juices and Ice creams . If his frequency of throat infection in more than 4 times a year you can consider for surgical removal of Tonsils.

Your schedule is definitely hectic. We usually advice our patients to have 8hrs night rest and 2hrs daytime rest. Try to have a break when you r in office. Baby growth is more when you r beyond 5th month pregnancy so growth is as such not a problem.

My baby is 10 week old. I have given 1st dose of pentavac along with IPV at 6 week. Now 2nd dose of Pentavac is due. Can I switch to Pentaxim? As suggested by My pediatrician.

No, I wouldn't advice. It's not worthwhile. Pentavac though painful a bit, offers better immune response. IAP advises DTwP (pentavac) for primary immunization and DTaP (pentaxim) as a booster dose at 18 months.

Hi Try improving your nutrients to get enough milk. Try to add fish, garlic, drumstick more often as that helps. Inspite of all these, you still don’t get enough milk, then follow your child doctor as advised.

Dear user it's normal for baby to pass stool on irregular basis as because the whole of GI system takes time to develop just like the growth and other developments of the baby no nothing to worry about keep him on breastfeeding and grippe water a tsf to keep things go normal.

I suggest to continue breastfeeding gradually increasing interval but decreasing duration of feeding. Though it is advisable to continue breastfeeding up to the age of 2 years then withdraw gradually.

I am 30 years old. I am having a baby of age 2 months old. I am breastfeeding her. But I am having a doubt that is my milk enough for my baby. How can I know that my milk is enough for my baby. Please suggest me the foods to be taken by me to increase breast milk.

MD - Paediatrics, MBBS, FISPN & FISPN - Pediatric Nephrology
Pediatrician, Delhi
This is the common concern all the first time mothers will have, and its really simple to understand. You should look for the following signs for the adequacy of breast milk: 1. You will feel lightness in your breast after feeding. 2. Baby is passing urine every 4 hours atleast. 3. Baby is gaining weight. Thats it. To increase breast milk only one thing helps at that is confidence in yourself. Have confidence that you gonna feed your baby. Be relaxed anxiety is the major cause of decrease in breast milk supply. So sit back and relax. All other things can weight but your baby can`t so for the first 6 months of life your baby is your priority. Just take one extra meal a day for baby nothing else is required and always eat what you like to eat not what other say.
