Helo mam. First of all I would like to tell you that It s an age factor related thing. So you don't need to sit on the floor. You must go for Physiotherapy that will surely help. A Physiotherapist will tell you all the Do, s and Don't s so better if you can go to Physiotherapy central nearby or get Physiotherapy at home thank you.

If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the casues for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain. Pain in the back while walking and standing Pain in the right legIf you have leg pain pls check your body weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. My suggestion would be to wear MCR Chappals which will help you to prevent the weight falling on the If you have back pain while walking and standing first of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. And also should check whether you have flat foot on the right leg that also might be the reason to have pain in one particular leg Pain in the left side of the leg/thigh The compression of the sciatic nerve should be around the right side that's the reason you have pain in the left side. That's the reason you cannot sit or stand and it is exactly around the L5 vertebrae where the sciatic nerve passes by.

I have pain in the middle and lower back. X Rays show a slight compression at L4/L5 and at the penultimate & last vertebra. Could I relive the pain by exercises and if so which ones would you recommend? I do play tennis, golf occasionally and exercise quite regularly.

Hi, prolonged sitting and overweight could be cause of your back pain. These factors along with a bad posture lead to severe back pain which may go up to your legs. Check if you have any tingling or numbness in your feet. Sit erect whenever possible. Keep a pillow between your back and chair. If you use a computer or laptop make sure to keep the screen at your eye level. Avoid bending forwards. Look for a physiotherapist opinion who will help you with your posture correction and core exercises to prevent any problems. Avoid playing any sports till your core muscles are strong as you might damage your back further while doing so. You may book a private consultancy with me for proper assessment and treatment exercises. Regards Dr. Manali shah-pangaonkar.

I am asking this question regarding my mom's condition. She is having pain in her joints all over the body, the pain is there all the times. We had visited a doctor earlier and after a few x-ray scans, he said she might be having arthritis. But then we had another test (rheumatoid factor) along with other tests at Apollo hospitals (Delhi) where the test came to be negative, and the doctor (a gym doctor) said there were no signs of arthritis. What could be the problem then? Should we visit an orthopaedic? Condition: Pain is not severe but mild and continuous. And even after doing small routine work she starts feeling very tired.

Try some remedies for Joint pain: -Ice packs can be used to soothe hot, swollen joints. -Heat packs help to relax tense, tired muscles. -Splinting of swollen or painful joints may be helpful, a physiotherapist or an occupational therapist (OT) may provide temporary splints for you. -Pace yourself :Overdoing things can increase your pain, but so can not doing enough. Your physiotherapist can advise you on increasing your activity level at a rate you can cope with and on finding the right balance between rest and activity. -Take regular graded exercise :Graded exercise starts slowly and increases in small steps. This will help you to strengthen your muscles and joints and increase your fitness. Improving your general fitness and stamina will help you to increase your activity level without increasing your pain. -Mobilising, stretching and strengthening :Your physiotherapist will assess your muscle strength and the range of movement in your joints, and advise on techniques and exercises so you can keep your joints working as well as possible. Check Vitamin D and Calcium level Best wishes.

I have muscle stiffness in my back. My doctor gave me myoril 4 (thiocolchicoside). One capsule at night. My question is: Is this medicine taken immediately after food or with a gap of an hour or two? The only thing my doctor told me is to take it before bed. So I am confused. Please help.

My question ...
Gastric emptying time (means time our body takes to empty the stomach) is around 2 hrs. So you can take tablet immediately after food till 1 hrs or so. Better is to take withing half an hour of taking your food. Hope this helps.
