Dear lybrate user use hot pack 15 minutes twice a day and use ointment stretching exercise of leg, big towel roll put under knee press towel tight your knee hold 5 sec repeat 10 times, put rolled towel between both knee press for 5 sec repeat 10 times, bend and straight both knee with bed contact 15 times repeat.

Heel pain or Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the band of tissue named plantar fascia that extends from the heel to the toes. In this condition, the fascia first becomes irritated and then inflamed, resulting in heel pain. Heel pain is a symptom if you are suffering from arthritis or any calcium deficiency. You should take a xray and complete blood check up for knowing the exact reason of pain Avoid going bare foot Do stretching exercises Putting an ice pack on your heel for 20 minutes several times a day helps reduce pain. Place a thin towel between the ice and your heel n do not apply ice directly to the skin If ice application didn't help go for contrast hot and cold bath. Cut down on extended physical activities to give your heel a rest Wearing supportive shoes that have good arch support and a slightly raised heel reduces stress on the plantar fascia. Reduce your weight Take 2-3 pieces of brick n heat it. Cover it with sterile cloth. Apply medicated oil on your sole and keep your foot on the brick till the heat get reduced.

Is Your Furniture (Sofa/chair) Causing You Back Pain?
  • Commercial and domestic seating contributes to our poor postural habits. The chairs available rarely give adequate support to the low back, and unless a conscious effort is made to sit correctly, we are more or less forced to sit badly
  • Ideally the back of all chairs should provide a lumbar support so that the lordosis, naturally present during standing, is also maintained while sitting.
  • Unfortunately this support is rarely included. It is equally important that furniture in offices and_ factories is adapted to individual requirements. For example, if you are a desk worker you must make sure that the seat of your chair has the correct height. While sitting, your feet should  rest flat on the floor and your thighs should remain horizontal without pressing on the seat. The desk itself must also be at the correct height; if the surface you lean on is too low, you will slouch forward and lose the lordosis. 
  • Finally, armrests must be positioned in such a way that,when using them, your shoulders are not unduly raised or lowered.Armrests should also allow your chair to be pulled under the desk so that you can sit with your stomach held gently against the front of the desk. This will prevent you from leaning over and losing the lordosis while performing desk tasks. Until furniture designers understand the requirements of the human frame and work accordingly, we will continue to suffer from their neglect.
  • Although the poor design of furniture contributes to the development of low back problems, equal blame must be placed upon the individual who may use the chair improperly. If we do not know how to sit correctly, even the best chairs will not prevent us from slouching. On the other hand,", once we have been instructed and the correct concepts have been instilled, poorly designed chairs will not have such a detrimental effect on our sitting posture.

U don't get syphilis that way. It is transmitted from another person suffering by that and you have sexual relationship with that person.

Sciatica is the name given to symptoms occurring due to compression of Sciatic nerve. There can be various causes for sciatica like Lumbar intervertebral disc prolapse, Tumour, Piriformis syndrome, Spondylolisthesis, Infection You will be advised to undergo MRI of spine to find out the cause of Sciatica. If you have Sciatica symptoms treatment will depend on cause of Sciatica.

As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Simple Knee Exercies Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. He has to drink more watery juice and also take more green leaf vegetables.
