Hi, I would recommend you better avoid traveling in the last trimester (last 3 months) of pregnancy. But if it's very important exam which can make your future, have a word with your gynaecologist first. As long as you have a healthy pregnancy, it's fine to travel by a car while pregnant for short disance. Here are some tips during traveling by car: simple stretches, both in and out of the car, will keep your blood circulating. Sitting for long periods of time can be difficult when you're pregnant. It can make your feet and ankles swell, your legs cramp, and give you heartburn. The good news is that with a little movement, you can alleviate the discomfort. When you're sitting, also rotate your ankles and wiggle your toes. In the later stages of your pregnancy, you may find a little elbow constantly poking your ribs or elsewhere if you don't move around regularly. Try to take a break at least every 90 minutes for a rest and a much-needed toilet break. Keep a bottle of water and some healthy snacks handy to keep your energy levels up and stay hydrated. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You don't want a tight waistband or armholes digging in when you're travelling. Always carry your vitamin and calcium tablets (in purse) with you. Also, don't forget to carry your all the documents and medical records with you, so in case of emergency if you need to visit a gynaecologist there, you should have all the details of your pregnancy. ************the final decision is taken by your gynaecologist as she knows your whole history**********

Hello, If she has already missed her periods by 12 days now without any symptoms then it is best that you should rule out pregnancy first by doing a urine pregnancy test. If negative then she can wait for another week to allow natural resumption of menses else after that she can opt for a withdraal bleed with progestins to resume her menses. Regards

Hello, please avoid pregnancy for at least 3 months as uterus requires time to return back to its pre-pregnant state. During sex you were in your safe period so pregnancy is unlikely, the bleeding can be caused post totally due to cervical erosions.

Normally its not worrisome. Get the scan repeated after one month. If the diameter remains same nothing to worry, but if diameter is more than 10 only then after delivery usg will be done on the baby to confirm and further test only if required. Mostly only conservative treatment.

Hello. Yes, of course, it's possible! (an old saying goes -'nothing is impossible). Any disease, bacteria, virus, parasite invades your body and attacks you when your immune system goes down! strong immune system is like our strong soldiers who kept protecting us continuously from the attack of an enemy. Eat properly to for strong immunity, maintain hygiene, keep the surroundings neat and clean, take enough of sound sleep and be happy and positive! so, follow the below points: - reduce your stress. Studies show it can even weaken your immune system. - build a strong social network. People with healthy relationships are likely to outlive those with poor social links. - keep a positive attitude. Look for the silver lining in difficult situations, and try not to dwell on negative thoughts. - have a laugh. - eat your antioxidants. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables can help you get a healthy dose of antioxidants. These substances found in foods help protect your cells from free radicals, molecules that can damage cells. - avoid empty calories. Processed treats like fast foods, snack foods, candy, and soda don't provide much in the way of vitamins, fiber, or other nutrients. - consider herbs and supplements. These include garlic, ginseng, milk thistle, and probiotics like lactobacillus and bifidobacterium. - keep your body moving. Exercise is a simple way to strengthen your immune system. Any type of movement can help, whether you ride a bike, walk, do yoga, swim, or even play golf. - get a good night's sleep. Most adults need about 7 to 9 hours of sleep each night. Keep a regular schedule, get some exercise, avoid caffeine and alcohol close to bedtime, relax before bedtime, and keep your bedroom cool. - limit alcohol. - kick the nicotine habit. - wash your hands.
