It could be due to cervical spondylosis this is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do neck & back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Use of cervical collar will give you relief. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you will need other supportive medicines also. Do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

Take more food more frequently.Use whole cream milk.Use weight gainer nutritional supplement.Include dense vegetables like sweet potato with white potato,corn,carrot.Dense fruits like banana,chikoo,mango,grape,dry fruits,jack fruits.Eat more protein.Take nuts,seeds.Add extra healthy fat in cooking.Take cake,pastries,ghee,cream,butter,cheese.Drink lots of water but not just before or during meals.Quality sleep.Do exercise for better health.

I will suggest you to eat nutritious home made food with adequate fluid intake and Get your blood checked for CBC and follow up with reports and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Hi, your mother is over weight by 5 kg. She should follow the under noted tips. Go for a brisk walk in d morning. Go for meditation to nourish your cells and tissues including knee joins. Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. If she wants to control diet she will have to check herself no one else can do it for her once she makes up a strong mind about doing it she should follow it strictly she can replace her cravings by other healthy food items like lime water butter milk salads fruits etc

Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

People who eat potato chips and French fries tend to gain weight faster. Make French fries using extra virgin oil, if you like them. Moreover, you can also make a delicious potato salad. Peel and slice potato. Boil them and mix them with the high calorie ingredients like buttermilk, mayonnaise, and veggies.

Hye, Thanks for the query. If you want to gain some weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. 1.  Eat 5 to 6 meals a day In order to gain weight, you need to start eating 5-6 meals a day. However, it is important that you break these meals into parts, as eating a lot at once may result in indigestion. Also, be sure to include healthy foods in your diet for a healthy weight gain. 2.  Weight train at least 3 times a week When you train with weights, your muscles grow. 3.  Consume more calories than you burn. Eating calories more than your normal intake may not be easy, but you must do it if you want to stop being skinny. Make sure you don’t do it just by overeating at once, but instead do it gradually over the whole day. 4.  Work out your entire body A lot of gym goers usually train only the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Make sure you workout your entire body for a wholesome weight gain. 5.  Load up on protein As informed earlier, you have to consume more calories than your normal intake every day. You can do this by eating foods rich in protein like dairy, meat, eggs, nuts, dry fruits, pulses, sprouts, smoothies, milk shakes etc. 6.  Drink your calories It may be tough to meet your calorie requirements by just eating. Drinking milk, lassi, milkshakes or fruit smoothies with little or no sugar can be a great way to load up on the required calories. 7.  Try and eat fast (but don’t choke on it) Your body takes some time to give signals of satiety which is why eating fast can help you eat more. 8.  Focus on recovery after each workout Stretching exercises, foods rich in carbohydrates can help recover your body significantly. Also, you should aim for 8 hours of sleep as inadequate sleep can cause several problems. Supplement alone will not help unless your basic diet and exercise routine is not good. Be patient with yourself.

Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. Drink milk. Try weight gainer shakes. Use bigger plates. Add cream to your coffee. Get quality sleep. You need to take a balanced diet eat more protein foods eat good fats eat dry fruits do exercise or yoga eat refined oil.

A guideline for creating the best vegetarian diet for weight loss. Based on this, you can create your own diet plan as the food choices of each person may vary and the items available to you may be different from what mentioned here. Early Morning You can have any of the following items to start your day. 1 glass of lukewarm water with lemon juice added to it. This drink will have zero calories in it. You can add one teaspoon of honey to the above mix and have it in the morning. This combination is believed to burn the fat inside the body. 1 cup of green tea or black tea or black coffee without added sugar You can choose any of these for your diet plan or change the items daily to avoid monotony. Breakfast You can have a breakfast which contains less than 350 calories. Here are some options Two rotis along with half a cup lentil gravy or tofu gravy OR 1 quarter plate brown bread or broken wheat upma and a cup of low fat milk OR 2 Idlis and half a cup of sambar  and ½ cup of low fat milk Mid Morning Snack You can use boiled pulses, green salads, low- calorie fruits or nuts as a snack Take ½ cup melon/cucumber and carrot salad or 20 grapes or a fistful of peanuts/ almonds/ melon seeds. Make sure that the calorie consumption is between 50-70 calories. Lunch There are multiple options for vegetarian lunch. You can eat rotis with vegetables or go for brown rice and vegetable gravies or have some roti and rice, according to your preference. Make sure that the calories do not exceed 350 calories. Here are some suggestions for your best vegan diet for weight loss. 1 cup brown rice (not to exceed 200 grams cooked rice) and ½ cup mixed vegetable gravy along with one bowl mixed vegetable salad and 1 small bowl raitha or low fat curd. Ensure that the vegetables are cooked using low fat oil and without adding coconut. 2 rotis with ½ cup vegetable gravy of your choice and one small cup raitha or green salad. You can change the above menu to ½ cup rice, and one roti with vegetable gravy, if you prefer to eat both rice and roti for lunch. If you feel that your stomach is not full, try having some clear soup before having your lunch. Evening In the evening you can opt for any of these Green teaButtermilkSalted lime juiceHalf cup oats cooked in low fat milk or water If you prefer to eat some snacks, you can select any of the mid morning snack or can opt for a half cup of cooked pulses or beans. Dinner Start your dinner with any thin soup. You can eat 2 rotis or one quarter plate upma or 3 slices of brown bread or one bowl of oats at night along with ½ cup vegetable and 1 bowl of salad.
