hope it's been diagnosed after MRI of lower spine. if not please get an MRI of LS spine done to rule out other causes of pain in that area. Also stretch exercise and physiotherapy would help you.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Start with physiotherapy treatment and learn exercise for spine. Do hot fermentation for 10 minutes. Don't lift heavy things. Don't sit on floor. Take calcium and multivitamin with vitamin d 3.

Don't do any pressure on affected area for 1more week. After that starts some exercises after consulting physiotherapist doctor.

Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation. Self massage the back of neck. Use cervical pillow.

Tk muscle relaxant medicine and keep equal balance on both legs and pelvic avoid long standing. For sever pain do tens therapy and ultrasonic and for few day and come out your pain issue.

Take calcirol pouch for vitamin d, first month one weekly and from second month once in a month. Get your vitamin b12 check also, bcos it is for muscles. Take hot fermentation on back and leg. Atleast do it twice in a day and for 1 week. Involve some physical activity in your schedule, bcos pain can b due to muscle weakness. If you need further assistance, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are multiple causes of shoulder pain which can include issues in ligaments, tendons, bursa or the joint itself. I will advise you that if you have a localized pain in your shoulder without any history of recent significant injury or any associated swelling, redness or any other sign of infection or inflammation, then start with physical therapy, anti inflammatory medications and ice packs at home because most of these pains are due to tendinitis, bursitis or ligaments etc. See if your pain starts improving in 2-3 weeks time, then its ok otherwise I advise mri of the shoulder to see whats going on. Also try to avoid sporting activities using the involved shoulder, rest to shoulder is important. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

I am having pain in my vertebral column, back of shoulders, lower back and legs. I feel a pressing pain in my upper back in the vertebral column and back of shoulders. I also feel muscle stiffness in my back. I am suffering from constipation also. If defecation is not normal for even two days, I am not able to stand for even a short time since my legs pain. Some times I even have pain in may arms when I exercise and sometimes even when I do not. Please help me with the pain and constipation.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

I am a 57 year. Old female, suffering from lumbar spondylosis. Early symptoms were pain, tingling, burning in the toes esp the right foot-toes. Loss of sensation in the third right foot toe. This has led to hallux valgus - bunion in the rt foot, which gives pain of and on. Undergoing homeo treatment, last 3 years-there is relief, but can, t stop treatment even for a few days. Please advise.

Hello , there are wonderful exercises which will help your symptoms in gradually bringing down. Just medication is not enough as your symptoms show that probably there could be some tear which is irritating your nerve which supplies the the leg. Dear you can follow these methods for relief from Backache(back pain): * First correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back.You can use lumber belt for support. * Do regular back strength exercises.Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * Do not sleep on very soft bed ,sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * Do Tadasana and Bhjangasana for back strengthening.If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. * Take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin D supplements regularly. *Do not Take any heavy weight or heavy work. * If you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight. At your age, frozen shoulder is a common thing. You could be suffering from it. Take X Ray of the shoulder to rule out any other lesion. For frozen shoulder best treatment is rotation exercises of the joint and yogasans. You can try that now also.

It is very common to have back pain after Delivery. Moving around may be just what your body needs. Exercises to strengthen your abdominal muscles and increase flexibility may be helpful too. Choose a gentle form of exercise, such as walking. Walking is safe to start almost immediately after Delivery.Take it slowly and keep walks short in the first few weeks. (Swimming, which helps strengthen your muscles without putting undue stress on your joints, is another good option later on.) Make pelvic tilts exercises a part of your daily routine. Do gentle stretching exercises or yoga. Avoid overstretching or extreme positions. Pay attention to your posture and stand up straight. Sit up straight, too. Think about your posture when feeding your baby, whether you're nursing or bottle-feeding. If you have low back pain, try using a footstool to keep your feet slightly raised off the floor. Choose a comfortable chair with armrests, and use lots of pillows to give extra support to your back and arms. Always bend from your knees and lift objects and children from a crouching position to minimize the stress on your back. Let someone else lift heavy objects – this isn't the time to risk throwing your back out. (If you've had a c-section, you shouldn't be lifting anything heavier than your baby for at least eight weeks.). Best wishes
