Stones can be removed by herbal medicines easily:: Try the Tips for removing kidney stones:: 1. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, cold drinks, pickles, fish, poultry, meat, spinach, and chocolate. 2. Avoid sour, heavy, and dry food. 3. Increase intake of liquids like water, juice, soup, lime water lemon soda etc. 4. Be sure to drink enough water each day. Usually 1 to 2 liters of water per day is adequate. 5. Drink more if you are perspiring heavily, working outdoors, the weather is hot, etc. 6. Increase the use of barley, horse gram (a type of bean), ginger, and brown rice or parboiled rice. 7. Avoid suppressing urges to urinate and defecate. 9. Boil 10-12 basil leaves in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it and take twice a day. All these symptom shows that 'Pitta' of your body got disturbed. So, take care of few things. Avoid: Sour food ( lemon, soar grapes , tamarind etc. ) , Spicy food. Include: Take a glass of fennel seed water ( soak 1 spoon fennel in a glass of water at night, heat it once , cool down and consume as first thing in the morning. Also chew 1 spoon fennel seeds after every meal. Don't leave yourself empty stomach , take freshly home prepared food or snacks in every 2 to 3 hours. About 10 am ,( after breakfast) take 1 glass milk with 1.5 spoon Gulkand mixed with 1 spoon fennel seeds. It will release all the extra heat from your body . Always drink water or some hydrating drink like coconut water before step out in sun.

I am 51 year old male is having two cysts in my left kidney, one is very small and other is 4cm. Though these are not giving any trouble till now and I would like to know if there is any way to remove these cysts.

MBBS, MD Obs & Gynae, FNB Reproductive Medicine

A CT scan is required to look at the type of cyst If it is simple cyst it just needs follow up. If it increases in size or causes symptoms it may need removal which can be done laparoscopically or by open surgery.

lybrate-user. U might be suffering from UTI. Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is a common condition that arises when there is an infection caused by bacteria. There is a burning feeling when urinating and an increased frequency of urination. According to Ayurveda, Urinary Tract Infection or Pittaj Mutrakrichhra, is caused by the aggravation of Pitta Dosha. Pitta is an Ayurvedic humor that symbolizes heat or fire. So, a diet and lifestyle that increases Pitta causes UTI. Aggravated Pitta produces heating toxins in the body. These heating toxins accumulate in the mutravahi strotas (urinary channels) and create an imbalance in the infection-fighting properties of the urinary system. It might lead to bacterial growth in the system, amounting to UTI. Diet & Lifestyle Advice Avoid intake of hot, oily, spicy, sour, salty, and bitter foods. Increase intake of liquids in the form of water, juices, coconut water, and other cooling drinks. Increase intake of pitta-pacifying herbs like green cardamom, coriander, red sandalwood, licorice root, etc. Avoid working in the sun or in a hot atmosphere such as near furnaces and boilers. Take a cold-water bath 2-3 times a day with ½ teaspoon of powdered red sandalwood added to the water. Home Remedies Put 3 tablespoons of powdered coriander seeds and 1 tablespoon of powdered rock candy (or unrefined sugar) in a vessel (preferably an earthen pot) containing 3 cups of water. Keep it overnight. Mix well and drink 1 cup of the liquid 3 times a day. This is a very good remedy for pacifying pitta in the urinary tract. Hope you recover with these tips !u may hv a personal consultation with me via Lybrate!
