Tips for good night 1. Sleep as much as you need to feel rested; do not oversleep. Many a time’s people have a habit of oversleeping on weekends and sleeping less on working days. In the long run such habit may interfere with your sleep cycle and your quality of sleep may get affected. 2.Quality of sleep is more important than the quantity of sleep. Some sleep for just 3-4 hours and remain fresh throughout the day where as others sleep 8-10 hours and yawn throught the day. 3.Exercise regularly at least 30 minutes daily, ideally 4-5 hours before your bedtime. 4.Keep a regular sleep and awakening schedule. As far as possible stick on to the fixed time for retiring and rising. 5.Do not drink caffeinated beverages later than 4 PM (tea, coffee, soft drinks etc.). 6.Do not smoke, especially in the evening. 7.Do not go to bed hungry and do not go to the bed immediately after heavy dinner. 8.Adjust the environment in the room (lights, temperature, noise etc.) The room you are sleeping should not be too warm, shouldn’t have some bright light. 9.Wear comfortable clothing when you go to bed. Sleeping with tight fitting clothing may affect your sleep. 10.Avoid watching TV, eating, and discussing emotional issues in bed. 11.A light snack may be sleep-inducing, but a heavy meal too close to bedtime interferes with sleep. 12.Milk contains the amino acid L-tryptophan, which has been shown in research to help people go to sleep. 13.Take a warm bath half an hour before going to bed. 14.Listen to light music in the evening hours or just before going to the bed. Listening to exciting music may interfere your quality of sleep. 15.Sleep with your head facing north (magnetic) and feet facing south. 16.Don’t read very interesting and thrilling books just before going to bed. Your mind may remain active for long time and you may have difficulty in initiating sleep. 17.Yoga and Pranayama may help in inducing sleep. Homoeopathic management of Insomnia: Many a times Insomnia is due to faulty methods adopted by the person which interferes with the sleep cycle. Few Insomniacs have some psychological and behavioral problems which need to be tackled medically. Homoeopathic medications will help in initiating and maintaining sleep in patients with anxiety neurosis, depression, obsession etc. Homoeopathic medications does not have any side/after effects and they are not habit forming.

I am 26 yr old man, fortunately or unfortunately I am impacted with diabaties, would like to know if it is normal at this age? I have a desk job which I need to perform for almost 10hr. I am doing night shift since last 5 years. Is night shift causing an issue for all my desease. Need some suggestion to come out from this.

Night shift is not an issue unless you're stressed about night shifts. If you enjoy your job then nothing to do with diabetes. You just need to take proper rest during the day and avoid extra sugar. Eat little at a time every 2 hourly instead of full meals.

Headache due to fall from bed. You should take rest and take tab. Dolo 650 mg twice a day. If vomiting is occurs between 1 to 7 days. Then do consult near doctor. It may be internal injury.

Hi you need to take proper treatment for low libido. Low testosterone levels usually mean low sexual desire. Levels dip as men age; other causes include chronic disease, medications, and other drug use. Most physical activity helps you sleep better

Certain types of physical activity help you sleep better, while others might leave you tossing and turning, a new study finds.

Researchers looked at data from a survey of more than 429, 000 american adults. They found that activities such as walking, bicycling, running, weight lifting, aerobics/calisthenics, gardening, yoga/pilates and golfing were all linked to better odds of a good night's slumber.

But, people who got physical activity from household chores and child care had a greater risk of poor sleep, according to the study.

Results of the study were presented this week at the annual meeting of the associated professional sleep societies, in seattle. Findings presented at meetings are generally viewed as preliminary until they've been published in a peer-reviewed journal.

The results of this study were surprising, according to study leader michael grandner, a psychiatry instructor at the center for sleep and circadian neurobiology at the university of pennsylvania in philadelphia.

" not only does this study show that those who get exercise simply by walking are more likely to have better sleep habits, but these effects are even stronger for more purposeful activities, such as running and yoga, and even gardening and golf" grandner said in a university news release.

" it was also interesting that people who receive most of their activity from housework and child care were more likely to experience insufficient sleep -- we know that home and work demands are some of the main reasons people lose sleep" grandner added.

" these results are consistent with the growing scientific literature on the role of sleep in human performance. Lab studies show that lack of sleep is associated with poor physical and mental performance, and this study shows us that this is consistent with real-world data as well" he explained.

But since the study design only allowed the researchers to find associations between activity and sleep, instead of proof of a cause-and-effect relationship, more studies are needed, according to grandner.

My mother is 51 years old, and over the past one year, she has been having cough problems. This seems to happen every two days (sometimes before food, sometimes after). On some of these occasions it is just cough, but on others it leads her to throw up (not necessarily food, sometimes only phlegm). One of the previous doctors she had consulted, recommended she take an endoscopy of esophagus, but she is not comfortable with that. Do these symptoms have anything to do with menopause? is there an alternative to endoscopy? if endoscopy is a must, can it be done with anesthesia? kindly advice. Someone I know from work has consulted with you for their mother who had similar symptoms, hence seeking your guidance.

Hi . These symptoms don't appear to be related to menopause. It sounds like she has acid reflux disease or laryngopharyngeal reflux disease. There is a simple way to rule this out. Give her an antacid like tab sompraz 40 mg or tab neksium 40 mg empty stomach once in the morning for a week. If her symptoms improve for 2-3 days with over 50% recovery then the diagnosis is likely and she can continue the medications for 3 weeks. If there is no change in her condition then she is recommended to undergo an endoscopy which can be performed under anesthesia if requested to the gastroenterologist.

Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy) Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Infection could be from external or internal injury/ lesion etc. Fever is accompanying infection. In diabetics its not good to have infection. Pl tell levels of sugar and history of DM. This is called premature ejaculation and your excitement leads to early ejaucaltion and you have go slowly and divert mind just before ejacualtion. Yu can do after some time is it only anxiety that prevents you.
