Your age is 23 so in young age joint pain means either vitamim b12 or d3 deficiancy. Check uric acid too.

It is possible that it is osteoarthritis considering your age and body mass index. However, the onset of pain in osteoarthritis is gradual and it progressively gets worse. You will also notice some stiffness in the morning or when resting for a long period of time which subsequently improves once you start walking. The pain in osteoarthritis is usually worse with walking for a long time and climbing stairs. That being said, it is better to confirm your diagnosis by seeing an orthopedician who can get a full history and perform an examination and other tests necessary. Appropriate treatment can be initiated afterwards.

I have joint pain since 1 month on my right knee. My doctor advice me to do mantoux test so the test give me positive result. But my doctor says me take simple medicine. Does can I worried about I suffered bone tb. Or I can go for tb gold test.

It may be false positive result. Get xray of knee or mri. Only confirmatory test for TB is biopsy and hpe.

How Ayurveda Helps Manage Slipped Disc?

Herniated disc, bulged disc, protruded intervertebral disc (PIVD) are the different names of one condition. This is a condition where- disc in between the two vertebral bodies starts peeping out on one side- anterior or posterior. These discs are just like the bags filled with liquid material, which work like shock-absorbent. There are several hard bony vertebrae in the vertebral column and there is plenty of movements with these vertebrae. When we look on one side to other side, we look upwards, downwards or we twist and even we bend forward or backward in each and every condition, there will be a movement in these bones, these discs decide the free movements of the spine. Along with this- when we walk or run there will be shocks and jerks to all these bones and these bags decide that there wont be any kind of jerks in between the bones. So, these discs are of multiple uses.

Our spine is inverted “S” shaped. There are two main curvatures in the spine which are free to move- Cervical and Lumbar curvatures. These curvatures of the spine are maintained due to the spaces in between the two vertebrae. Whenever there is a loss or change (specially reduction) of this space between two vertebrae- pressure will be exerted on the intervertebral discs. This uneven pressure on the disc causes- protrusion/bulge/herniation of the disc- this is the condition known as SLIPPED DISC, in layman language. Why does disc slip

Generally, slipped disc condition is diagnosed by its signs and symptoms. When slipped disc starts exerting pressure on the nerves surround the disc- the nerve will be excited which gives sensation of- Pain, Burning or Numbness in the related area of the nerve. This sensation can travel long far away to the areas, which are being supplied by the nerve and can be limited to a particular location in neck or back even. Sign & Symptoms of Slipped Disc.

Panchakarma treatments like Kati vasthi, Greeva vasthi, Abhyangham , Elakizhi , Basthi, Pizhichil cures the root cause of herniated disc.This should be followed by proper diet and yoga exercise to remain healthy. Kati vasti is a specialized therapy that relieves and nourishes the lower back using herbal oils. A specially prepared warm herbal oil is poured over the lumbo sacral area and retained inside a dam made out of dough.

The hot medicated oils helps melt lower spine rigidity and strengthen your bone tissue.Increases the circulation in the region, as the herbal oil gets deeply absorbed into the skin, and both nourishes and strengthens the muscles and nerves. Elakizhi is a massage which uses small herbal pouches made of various herbs which are warmed in medicated oils.

They are then used to massage the entire body or specific areas like the back, neck, shoulders, hands and joints. Its used in curing disc related problems. It does away with pain to give you comfort and much strength

So, we need to treat the condition, wisely and in a wholesome manner, rather just to removal of the protruded tissues (Laminotomy) and this is the basic reason there are risks associated to the surgery of the spine and in almost more than 45% cases patients had to go for a second surgery to stay pain free. Why Surgery for spine doesn’t succeed. Secondly, this is a mechanical problem so medicines alone can give you temporary relief rather than the cure- So better you save your money and invest it on complete cure for the problem, rather than just taking the pain killers and medicines which were indicated in epilepsy to just reduce the signs and symptoms. Hand pain it might be due to carpal tunnel syndrome, where the pain will be felt in the wrist. You can do hot water fermentation/ wax therapy for shoulder and for the wrist pain (hand pain) you can do ice therapy which will reduce the pain This might be due to lack of blood circulation in the hands and we suggest to do contrast bath therapy ie. Immersing in cold/hot water in the interval of 3-5 minutes which will help you reduce the pain.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi i Am 49 years old. After running 2 miles I used to do bab ramdev's few exercises to reduce stomach and side fats. That is raising the legs and making a big o like 360 dgree. Once perhaps I had a twist and not able to do it. Not able to properly raise the leg. If I apply force it gives pain near thigh joint right side. Three months I discontinued that exercise and now became obese. Stomach which was under control, now came out. Please advise. I do seating job. Please advise me. Thought it would go away. But am not able to do exercise.

As you twist pl do have clinically examined by musculskelotal physiotherapist or orthopadician asap to rule any stain or sprain in the hip joint and femur bone or if there is any vascularitis etc, so before that don't attempt any exercise as it may worsen the conditions if any best wishes.
