My shoulder is paining severely ftom the ladt 5 months. I consulted many doctors but they r saying that there is no problem. But my pain is severe every time .if I use a pain killer it relieves for sometime and then pain starts. I have done mri also. But there is no problem.

Hello doctor, I just want to ask that my hand pains whenever I lie down and type in my cell phone. I can't use my phone for more than 1 min while lying down. I have pain in my hand If I carry some greater weight with it. Earlier some fibre shift or sth one doctor said, I don't know what is it exactly.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.

Few things related to headache so that we can plan the treatment accordingly - if pain is associated with blurred or decreased vision than check your eye sight for refractive error - if the pain is associated with cold and fever than we have to rule out sinusitis as the cause and if the pain is pulsatile in nature and with a throbbing pain usually with an aura than we have to rule out migrane as the cause - if the pain is associated with neck problems than we have to rule out cervical spondylosis as the cause - if the pain is associated with either low or high bp or due to hyperacidity than we have to treat the cause after examination.

You need proper rehabilitation. It is common in badminton players. You need to strengthen core muscles, shoulder muscles and scapular stabilisation.

You have mentioned pain in thighs and foot region, do you actually feel it is a radiating pain from your lower back region which is going in the legs? do you also suffer from lower back pain? is there any associated numbness, weakness in legs and paresthesias as well? please also send me any investigations if you have done in this regard and what treatment have you taken thus far? meanwhile I will advise you to continue with your walks and also intensive physical therapy for lower back region. Well this may be due to collitis. U need proper treatment. Do not take highly spicy food take blunt food. Avoid drinking alcohol, quit smoking. Take ginger juice, alovera juice, plenty of water. With this you need proper homeopathic treatment for this. U can also contact me through Lybrate.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
