Hi After sometime my breast nipple are very painful please tell me what should I do.
Reasons for nipple tenderness: 1. Pregnancy 2.extreme winters, with dry or cracked nipples 3. Just before periods 4.infection in breast, usually associated with fever, more common when breast feeding, called mastitis, can aggravate to become breast abscess, which needs operative treatment so better go to a gynaecologist and get yourself examined.

I am experiencing reduced discharge during periods from past 6-8 months. Normally I get regular periods with heavy flow which last upto 4-5 days. Nearly 5 months back my periods got delayed by 12 days. Although now they are regular, the flow is reducing by every month. However whenever I consume dry ginger or sundari Sanjeevani (unjha) only then my periods are proper as they used to be earlier. I am currently on my periods but there is almost no discharge even on the second day. On the second day itself the discharge is like that on the 6th day. Kindly help.

If she has missed her scheduled [periods she might be pregnant. Do a simple urine pregnancy test to confirm if pregnant or not? if positive urgently consult a gynaecologist, get examined, and investigated to know the exact duration of [pregnancy, to decide the most safe and effective method of termination if desired by you both.

It is called safe period of family planning but it is unsafe meaning high failure rate. In a woman having 28 days regular cycle safe period is considered as from day 1 to 10 and 17 to 28 counting from first day of last period. If periods have different cycle depending on that counting changes.

Hello, ovulation can be predicted at home by 1. Body temperature chart - 0.5 degrees rise in temp may be noted around ovulation. 2. Vaginal discharge pattern- around ovulation discharge is more profuse and stretchy. 3. Ovulation kits available in the market. Or by ultrasound monitoring to look for folliculometry and ovulation. But trying on that day need not necessarily end in a pregnancy.

Pregancy is possible only on one day of cycle that is the day on which you ovulate. Means when you say 5 months actually it is just 5 trials. Couple has to give 12 to 24 cycles time to nature then if pregnancy does not occur detailed reports are required, then treatment. Both reports and treatment require lot of time means you- both should go to gynecologist or infertility specialist in whom you have trust and meet him/her repeatedly with patience.

New to Kidney Disease? Nine Things You Should Do

The medical term used for kidney disease is Nephrosis and it is seldom also known as the nephritic syndrome. There are a lot of likely causes for this condition and it is detected by carrying out urine test. The treatment for Nephrosis is a long term treatment and done mainly to prevent kidney failure. The kidney disease is very painful and occurs in people of all age groups. It is very important for people who are new to kidney disease that they know about the nine things they should do to stay strong.

Important information on kidney disease:

  1. The feeling of helplessness on occurrence of kidney disease can be overcome by educating yourself. Individuals should learn everything about kidney disease and can gain vital information even from the Internet.
  2. It is very obligatory that the advice of the doctor be followed by an individual suffering from Kidney disease. It is not indispensable that the kidney disease always leads to failure of kidney and to keep your kidney healthy and stay away from any damage, it is necessary to comply with the orders of the Doctor.
  3. It is very important that you stick to a diet, which would keep you healthy and protect your kidneys from any further damage. You should be mindful on everything you eat and you can gain assistance on your diet from a renal dietitian.
  4. When you suffer from chronic kidney disease, the blood values become very important to gauge the condition of your disease and whether it is getting worse or stable. From time to time, the healthcare provider would check your urine and blood regularly and he would also monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar.
  5. You can ask help from the support group and accept their assistance. Your family is your best support system in times of need and so involving them is very important.
  6. You must make sure that you are getting the proper care you need and you need to educate yourself by communicating as well as asking questions.
  7. You can feel much better by being active, so do things that make you happy. You can exercise regularly, but after taking advice from your doctor. Your main focus must be to keep your heart healthy.
  8. A positive attitude is anytime helpful in healing a disease. You can listen to music that entertains your mind and helps you stay positive.
  9. It is not difficult to stay healthy even with kidney disease, as a positive feeling would eventually help face the kidney disease. You must plan ahead and be ready for kidney transplant without getting worried.

Most importantly, spread awareness and help people tackle the situation without any difficulty.

*** The 7 Dangerous Acts after meal ***
DON'T ACT THE 7 ACTIONS BELOW AFTER YOU HAVE A MEAL.
* Don't smoke- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).
* Don't eat fruits immediately -When you eat your fruits with meals, the fruit is stuck in the stomach along with the contents of the meals and cannot reach the intestines in time. Lying there they get spoilt and spoil the remaining food in the stomach too. Thus it is recommended that you eat a fruit at least one hour after eating a meal or before your meal and preferably in the morning with empty stomach. It is in the morning that the body can best use the nutrients in the fruit and get enough energy to start the day.
* Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest. It is preferable to drink tea an hour after meals.
* Don't loosen your belt -Fiction, not particularly bad for you!
We generally have an attitude that a good meal is that which forces us to loosen our belts. However, loosening the belt is bad, not because it causes the intestines to twist or block but because it means that you have over eaten to a level that you are uncomfortable. Loosening of the belt may also cause you to feel comfortable once again which means you may continue overeating.
So eat only to the extent that you can be comfortable without loosening your belt!
* Don't bathe - Bathing after meal will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
* Don't walk about -Fact, it is bad for you! Walking directly after meals is a bad idea, it can result to acid reflux and indigestion. However, walking about half an hour after meals is known to be good for you. Researchers in the Department of Exercise Science at the University of South Carolina, have found that walking after exercise is a good way to burn energy.
The point to note is when to walk, you should ideally walk for about 10 minutes and only 20-30 minutes after meal to prevent acid reflux and stomach upsets.
* Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.
