Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Press the point on the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from toe in the foot 20 times by pressing and releasing with a blunt edge of a pen. Further rotate your foot clockwise and anticlockwise 10 times. Massage your leg with both hands.

I am a female. I was married at the age of 24 years and I had baby when I was 26 years with epidural (no cesarean). After that I am feeling lower back pain very frequently. I can't stand for a longer duration (more than 30 mins). I got relief from pain after taking rest for sometime. I am a vegan. I am ignoring this back pain. Can it be something serious?

Chiropractic Mobilization will help. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

I went to an orthopedist for knee pain and difficulty while getting up when sitting on the floor. He asked me to get a bunch of tests one of was TSH. Everything was normal except TSH. First report conducted by Thyrocare TSH Level was: 12.78 After 3 months I got the test done again. Now the results were TSH: 15.602 T3, FREE: 2.76 T4, FREE: 0.9 The surprising fact is there no symptoms. I have read a hundred symptoms but I feel nothing different. Infact my weight has reduced in a period of 3 months from 51.9 to 51 kg. My weight has remained in the range of 50-53 for the past 4 years. I don't feel lethargic, I recently went for a track and climb 4 flight of stairs daily without any hassle. Eyes are not popping out, no scaly skin. I just have pain in my knees. Looking for a genuine suggestion. I don't want to start kids for Thyroid as then the body becomes dependent on external sources and one has to take it life long. So kindly help me out.

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. •Standing hamstring stretch: Place the heel of your injured leg on a stool about 15 inches high. Keep your knee straight. Lean forward, bending at the hips until you feel a mild stretch in the back of your thigh. Make sure you do not roll your shoulders and bend at the waist when doing this or you will stretch your lower back instead of your leg. Hold the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times. •Cat and camel: Get down on your hands and knees. Let your stomach sag, allowing your back to curve downward. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Then arch your back and hold for 5 seconds. Do 3 sets of 10. •Quadruped arm/leg raise: Get down on your hands and knees. Tighten your abdominal muscles to stiffen your spine. While keeping your abdominals tight, raise one arm and the opposite leg away from you. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Lower your arm and leg slowly and alternate sides. Do this 10 times on each side.•Pelvic tilt: Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your abdominal muscles and push your lower back into the floor. Hold this position for 5 seconds, then relax. Do 3 sets of 10. •Partial curl: Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your stomach muscles. Tuck your chin to your chest. With your hands stretched out in front of you, curl your upper body forward until your shoulders clear the floor. Hold this position for 3 seconds. Don't hold your breath. It helps to breathe out as you lift your shoulders up. Relax. Repeat 10 times. Build to 3 sets of 10. To challenge yourself, clasp your hands behind your head and keep your elbows out to the side. •Gluteal stretch: Lying on your back with both knees bent, rest the ankle of one leg over the knee of your other leg. Grasp the thigh of the bottom leg and pull that knee toward your chest. You will feel a stretch along the buttocks and possibly along the outside of your hip on the top leg. Hold this for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times. •Extension exercise: Lie face down on the floor for 5 minutes. If this hurts too much, lie face down with a pillow under your stomach. This should relieve your leg or back pain. When you can lie on your stomach for 5 minutes without a pillow, then you can continue with the rest of this exercise. Back pain / Sciatica: Pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which runs down one or both legs from the lower back.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned pain in your shoulder region. Can you recall any event which might have triggered this pain? also you have a high crp levels and low vitamin d as well. As of now, if there is no swelling or any other s/s of any infection like skin redness, local warmth etc, I will advise you to continue with ice packs, anti inflammatory medication, local analgesic spray application, use sling for 3-4 days. But we will have to investigate you further once you get relieved from this pain. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

He could be suffering from gastritis or gastro esophageal reflux disease. Avoid spicy and fried foods. Also avoid junk food and fast food. If his problems are worse, you need to take an ecg and take medications.
