I have smoking habit I cannot quit, but how can I be healthy by taking some healthy food for lungs.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
You will only feel like you can't give up, but you will succeed by perseverance. There is no specific food to help with your lungs but you can do deep breathing and improve the performance of your lungs. Not only deep breathing but good aerobic exercise and breathing through your nostrils will improve lung health tremendously. But congrats for your desire to quit smoking. It is now important that you actually do it and persevere with it. When you decide, it must be done immediately and abruptly. Waiting another day will jeopardize the decision. Since you want to do it I recommend that you seek the help of a counselor and do it with support. I guess you know all the harm cigarettes do to your system, which is why I suppose you are seeking to quit. But now you need to identify why you smoke: there is an oral need, the nicotine effect, the psychological effect of covering up some other issue, for style, to impress, etc. You may discover that the reasons may be unimportant at this stage because you have become too addicted and the habit has become compulsive. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need, for a little while. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all, announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction.

Is masturbating regularly effect health
In how many days masturbating should be done.
There is absolutely no harmful effect. There are only myths about it. One can do it whenever he/ she wants. But remember, anything in excess is not useful. If you are addicted to it, it can divert your attention and may cause loss of concentration in studies, works and family life.

My hairs are falling, and scalp is being like empty, I want to increase hair volume, what to do? I am depressed.

MD - Skin,VD & Lepxsy
Dermatologist, Hyderabad
My hairs are falling, and scalp is being like empty, I want to increase hair volume, what to do? I am depressed.
Losing your hair can do serious damage to your self-esteem. But luckily, there are plenty of options out there now to help you fight it. Hair loss can affect both men and women. Hair loss is very common these days because of increased stress, nutritional deficiencies, lack of exercise and increase intake of junk food. Other causes of hair fall could be genetic, hormonal imbalances, under-active thyroid gland, and insufficient blood circulation in the scalp. There are many treatment options for hair loss including medications, home remedies and cosmetic procedures such as hair transplants. There are various over the counter medications available for preventing hair loss, but you need the ones most suitable to your skin type to get effective results. Visit a dermatologist in your area to know which medicines you should take. If you're considering a hair transplant, it's important that you choose a doctor who focuses specifically on the technique by treating at many patients in a year, and who has experience with all different hair types. An experienced doctor can help minimize scarring and create a more natural hairline. Home remedies would include oiling your hair more often, include Amla/Indian gooseberry in your diet to promote new hair growth, apple cider vinegar can be effective to control hair fall and it gives soft and manageable hairs.
